Hi. So I've been having this issue where, I search something in google, it searches what I asked it to. Then I search again and it finds what I asked it to. The third time if I search again it'll go back to the first thing I tried to search as if i just pressed BACK twice. Something similar happens if I search for something, and then if I search the second thing and tap on the website and then press BACK, it'll go back to the first Google result I ssearched. It's been a few weeks this has been happening and the only thing that'll TEMPORARILY fix it is if I close firefox. If you need any more information I'd be happy to help you help me. Thank you!

There is a session with 15 important tabs. Previously, all 15 tabs were restored when closing and then opening.

But now, when closing and opening, the following happens: 1) The first time you click on Mozilla startup, nothing opens.Clicking again opens the home page.And everything. 2)When you click on launch, the home page opens.And everything.

In both cases, pressing Ctrl+Shift+t restores the previous session with 15 tabs.

The error appeared unexpectedly.There were no critical sorties.Mozilla's version is the latest.Tell me how to fix it.

I'm conducting research on the web but nothing is being recorded in my search history which is really annoying as I need to refer back to it at times. I can find it under recently closed tabs. Please can you advise what is going on?

When we are getting dates and time in history like Chrome? Random months and in those months, no days, no dates makes Firefox outdated.

Is Firefox not growing or everything needs to be highlighted? I have never highlighted anything to chrome yet it has done things that are worth it.

Hi, I dont understand the new improvements since the default tab is no longer private and i cannot follow the google tips, as I miss thr history options. My version is

I don't fully remember when this happened, but lately the browser has trouble clearing my search history even though I had it set so that it does so every time I close it. I only managed to fix it by making it so that it doesn't remember the search history, but some of the old searches are still there whenever I punch in part of what I was searching.

My firefox is not recalling the history as I move through tabs. It doesn't appear in the sidebar or in the documented history. This only has happened recently, and it's still recognizing my bookmarks. I've done some troubleshooting, tried relaunching in the mode while switching through tabs, but it's still not recalling. Any help is appreciated.

all of a sudden my firefox "home page" is being filled up with icon of web searches! I spend time having to delete each one. why did this start and how do I stop it? I'm going to go back to windows edge if this is the grief I'm going to get on mozilla/firefox

The Android App won't allow me to find specific items from history (e.g. i wanna visit chatgpt.com, but all suggestions offer me chatandgo VENEZIA when typing chat) and delete them. There's no way I can scroll so much history just to find specific items to delete. Method for deleting all history or for last hour makes no sense. See the attachment. Thank you.

Last week I went through the process of choosing a profile so I would not be faced with choosing whenever firefox opened. ( I was guided through the process by some of you elders.) My bookmarks are all in place but that history no longer accumulates, not even during the session I am in. I must have hit something without knowing it. I have gone up and down settings on several levels, but I can't figure out what will make this work again. It is helpful to have this reference so I would appreciate help. w11 on laptop. Cleaned PC using CCleaner. Restarted windows. Launched Firefox and only 1 tab with calendar opened. Went to History but no indication of the previous session available. ?

I want to know how to go back to the previous page when i hit the back button on the navigation bar instead of going all the way to the original start page, I have trie suggestions like the Backspace ket and the left arrow key but they don't work. would like to know if i can get it to work like it used to.

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.

Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should. 

Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. So far, all the advice goes down the same path; history, clean recent history, manage history, etc.. Tried refreshing and today I deleted Firefox app and reloaded. No improvement. I use the Zen browser and I can't use ctrl+shift+c to view the element, I deleted the shortcut specified in the settings for copying the page URL so that the inspector would work, but it doesn't work, although the correct shortcut is indicated when hovering, but it doesn't work

I have searches from a year (or more) ago that are still popping up and I don't know why. I have done multiple clears of my entire history and individually removed old searches when they pop up - they still keep coming back.
