I can't search or write any url in search bar whenever I click on search bar it crashed my keyboard layout and it will be slide down. This error occurred while I download some files and didn't allow the notification for showing download in notification panel. When I have allow the download notification it works fine and download percentage shows in notification bar but I can't see my downloads in download tab. It's empty. These are bugs I am facing. Please fixed it I have give you the whole schenario of finding bug so you can get it clearly.

When saving/opening file dialog is on screen the whole program freezes and take forever to unfreeze to the point I have to force quite the program. The problem seems to be only in Firefox.

Safe mode - same problem, Have done a complete refresh - same problem. Clean uninstall and reinstall - same problem.

Have moved to Chrome - similar problems.

My Thunderbird email on my PC will only open intermittently in the last few days. Re-starting my computer sometimes helps, but only temporarily. There are no error messages- just nothing happens. I am still able to access email on other devices - just not on PC - which I use a lot. I'd be grateful for ideas of how to fix this. Thank you, Pam Rycroft

Had to replace FF with Chrome in order to play DRM content on my W11 laptop. I get message saying you are downloading remedy, but nothing ever changes. Would prefer to continue 15+ year relationship with FF, but seems like youre abandoning capabilities for DRM video content?

TB no longer will start. It just hangs and when I go to it on my Mac I see a spinning disk. That never changes and eventually, after hours, I must force quit and report it to Apple. I receive no messages or error codes.

In firefox Ubuntu (WSLg) the dropdown menus don't work. I have already tried reinstalling both firefox, and the entire OS.

When I press Custom URLs... (see image) nothing happens. This issue is everywhere in the brouwser, on websites, even when I press help in the hamburger menu. (Or settings in that same hamburger menu.)

I have read the thread for this similar problems, tried all the suggestions but I'm Still experiencing videos not staying full-screen. Is there any other solution to it? This has started since yesterday but everything was fine before then.

I reinstalled the Visual C++ and Firefox loaded when i ran the Firefox repair but totally locked up. Unable to get to settings or any website and will not run after closing it.

An IMAP mail system is configured on a server running Debian 12. While there are never any problems via webmail, reception and sending work occasionally via Thunderbird 115.9. Even in "Troubleshooting Mode" it doesn't work. The server has good hardware characteristics and there are no applications that can slow it down, nor do I think it is a firewall problem or incorrect parameters otherwise it would never work. The error is related to timeout reaching the server. What can I check to find out where the problem is?

MacOS Sonoma 14.4 seems to have broken a number of apps. AFter updating to Sonoma 14.4 I experienced a great number of crashes with Thunderbird, so I completely uninstalled Thunderbird and removed all traces of plists, Application preferences, everything, reinstalled Thunderbird, and added back the two email accounts I use with it. It now takes up to 30 seconds to start up Thunderbird, after which it happily no longer crashes, but obviously the startup time is unacceptable. I experience the same problem with Typora, and the developers there informed me that they believe the problem is with a Sonoma change that broke WebKit. I don't know if Thunderbird still uses Gecko or if the new version is WebKit. Please let me know if other Sonoma users have reported this problem or if it's just my system.

This has been happening for months now, on multiple devices (I have tried at least 3 different devices), and on multiple networks.

I have read the articles in here, but they just want me to check network configuration which is exactly the same for all browsers.

If I restart firefox it starts working again.

How can I prevent it from breaking randomly? This is the only browser having issues, I'm almost positive is some bug and not a configuration thing, given that it happens under multiple circumstances and devices, while Edge and Chrome simply keep working just fine.

There is no consistent repro I can give, afaik it is just random, at some point Firefox just decides to stop working and I have to restart it. This disrupts my work and browsing activities as I can lose progress on input forms and similar actions.

Firefox just stops responding when trying to load a web page. The only way to get it back working is to reboot the computer. I have tried quitting the application but when I try to restart it it doesn't respond and I end up having to force quit and reboot the computer and then it will work fine. For some time now, e-mails have been arriving with a delay, e.g. from April 15, they arrived only on April 18. The mail is on the home.pl server pinned via IMAP.

I have firefox for android, and I have ublock origin, which is great.

However, firefox seems to refresh constantly- even if I minimize it than return instantly- it automatically goes into a refresh mode, it refreshes randomly while scrolling- I wish I coudl completely turn this "feature" off across all browsers.

I cannot state how many times I have lost VITAL data from this annoying random refreshing.

It should be an option to completely disable refreshing of ANY kind, rather than forcing it down our throats, and losing time, and data. If I want to see new content I will refresh it myself/ re enable the option. I was hoping this ridiculous "feature" would be phased out when humanity pulled its head out, but apparently- it's gotten even worse, now.

when I search for a page after opening a tab. The page will load slowly then stop. I'll then have to hit enter again for the page the load. This does not happen with Chrome or Edge. Any ideas how to fix this frustrating issue. Thanks.

I'm not sure why, sometimes the status bar clock and stuff do hide, but I just can't seem to figure out how to get them to hide every time, and they usually don't. I've already tried disabling picture in picture for the app but that isn't noticeably helping. Full screen video is supposed to hide those, right? What are the reasons it wouldn't?

Has anyone seen a message similar to this when trying to attach a document, usually a pdf to an email?

O:\XXXXXXXXXX.pdf could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.

Also, when someone send me an image file, I can't open it directly from the email. I have to download it and then open it. This isn't as big of an issue as the above, but I thought I'd ask it too.

Windows 10 Thunderbird 115.10.0

I have an issue with using newgroups via NNTP server in Thunderbird. News only load during startup of the program. Whenever the option Get Messages is chosen later, or when it is automatically run by the program, the process seems to get stuck in a loading state. In this state neither can new messages be read (the headers seem to be there and are shown, but the body of the message isn't), nor can new messages be sent (message sending gets stuck in status "Assembling Message")

This has been the case for a few releases already, and is currently present on 115.10.0 (64bit)

About 2 weeks ago, Thunderbird stopped sending emails. I spent a couple of hours on the phone with tech support but was unable to correct the issue. Changed all of the settings several times, SMTP server, port, security and authentication without success. Tech support suggested using their server but that's a pain.
