Hi, I hope someone can help me because I am about to lose my mind. I have two Gmail /IMAP accounts that I access through Thunderbird 91.5.0 (64-bit) on Windows 7 machine One of them is literally empty with no emails stored in gmail servers. That one is wrorking fine. The other one has around 500 emails on Gmail servers with multiple labels. This one is taking forever to sync with thunderbird: sending and receiving messages is taking forever. I have tried everything: Subscribing, unsubscribing, deleting thunderbird, reinstalling it, deleting profiles...nothing is helping. The problem started 3 days ago. I never had a single problem in the last 10+ years with this very setup. I will need to find a thunderbird alternative unless someone here can somehow help me. thank you very much.

When I open Firefox, I'm getting ** 12 ** instances of Firefox opening up and spamming the hell out of my hard drive (even slowing down other processes), even without opening a page (I have mine set to not open any pages on loading Firefox). This is annoying and intolerable. I have looked around to find a workaround, but the only post was from last year, and gives instructions to turn off recommended settings, then says to set Firefox instances to 1, where there is no way to do that in that section on the version I'm running. So, how do I fix this? I want the hard drive spamming stopped.

First of all , Hello  :) FF is a great wb and i use it everywhere i got a machine. Works fine everywhere .. but here on this computer. Why only on this machine ? Same distros ( linux mint 20.3 ) radeon video cards , amd family cpu's This machine is AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor × 6 the video card atm is AMD PITCAIRN (DRM 2.50.0, 5.4.0-94-generic, LLVM 12.0.0) though i had the same crash issue with a nVidia graphics card. Memory is Corsair and the memtest86 reports no errors. This is where i get a bit lost. Memory issues or hardware defects might explain this but where's one to begin ? Trouble is , no other application ever crashes and it's rock solid. So is FF to point a finger at or something else ? That's the objective of me submitting this report. Try to find out what's really at fault here and fix it.

The crashes happen at all times. It can also be right at starting FF and never even reaching the main window. I tried with and without the --safe-mode and it's the same that also happens.

Ever since I updated to Firefox 96, I have been receiving the error message "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." at times. Refreshing does help. This did not seem to happen with Firefox 95. I am currently on Firefox 96.0.2. I tried restarting the computer, tried refreshing Firefox, tried disabling hardware acceleration, etc., and the issue still persists.

I am using Thunderbird 91.5.0 with Windows 10 21H2

I have tried reducing my Maximum number of server connections to cache from 5 to 3

I do not have any other computers or a smartphone

My broadband connection is branded "John Lewis" and supported by Plusnet

Hello, I am using a personal PC. So I don't require the Firefox to be managed by an organization. In settings it shows "Your browser is being managed by your organization" . On clicking on it, it says "The Enterprise Policies service is active but there are no policies enabled". I have attached screenshots for the same. Does any one know how to resolve this bug?

Lost History after Crash

So while using FF, I think it was a combination of too many programs opened and too many tabs (and an old potato PC laptop) suddenly the whole display turned black probably because of all those reasons, i waited a min but nothing, so i shut it down manually in order to restart it.

As i re opened firefox i finished the search that caused the "crash" i guess and only later i realized that all my history (an awful lot) is gone. Tried using an old Windows restore point of december but nothing. After i looked up that history is stored in the places.sqlite file i went into the profile folder and found a places.sqlite.corupt file. Does anyone know how can i repair it ?... Pleaseeee help me retrive my history. Thanks a lot.

So this started with Chrome, the browser just stopped loading, it would open but I could never get a website to open. So I changed to Foxfire, and it worked fine. Now it is doing the same thing. I open the browser, but no web pages will open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer, run countless Norton scans, my computer is just a year old, I am online and I've used all the troubleshooting devices I can find. I don't know what is going on and could really use some help. The only error I get is 'Timed out'.

When I try to launch Verizon TV on my computer, all I see is a red spinning circle. This started happening two or 3 days ago after a firefox update. I was hoping that today's update would fix this but it did not.

As suggested, I un-checked the DRM Content box but that did not resolve the issue. Nor did disabling the Widevine plug-in. When I did that, I receive the message, "You must enable DRM to play some audio or video on this page.. When I click the Enable DRM button, I see the same spinning red circle.

Since I have no issues watching Verizon TV on Chrome, this appears to be a Firefox/Widevine issue. Hopefully, it will be resolved shortly.

Guys hello! I was using thunderbird for my mails on windows 7 on an old machine..Recently it started crashing on startup..I checked for solution on google then i found out i could start with safe mode only...(i wasnt using any addons so disabling them had zero effect)

Because i didnt want to continue with safe mode only, So i zipped my profile folder and created a backup.. Then i downloaded Thunderbird Setup 91.5.0.exe and tried fresh install with deleting the old profile directory...

Now thunderbird doesnt start even with 0 profile..It doesnt start with safe mode too ! I cannot even go to profile manager (thunderbird.exe -p )

I dont know what to do!

I have found crash id but i cannot understand what the problem is! Can anyone help ?

Why is Firefox crashing over and over
