When using Mozilla VPN on my IOS- do I need to open the VPN app each time and Login to toggle the VPN on and then when I am done utilizing the internet do I need to logout of the VPN app. How exactly does this work?

Encountered odd scam attempt from a through site trying to pose as a tech security for iOS or Firefox while browsing on the Firefox app for IOS. It locks you out of being able to click anything on the app. So how do I defeat it and get use of the app back? Well first since Firefox remembers the last page you visited you can’t just close the app and open it again as you’ll see the scam again. So here are the steps I used:

1. DON’T PANIC. Calm down and take a couple breaths. 2. Now that you are calm place you phone in airplane mode. This will disconnect you from any networks. No data in =No data out. 3 Now open the Firefox app. The scam pop up that locked you out will appear. 4 Click the acknowledgement Okay. This is fine as it will immediately attempt to go to next page but since step 2 was done it can’t. 5 Now select the Tabs button at the bottom of the app and close that scam page. 6 Clear your cookies and site data for extra measure. 7 Take your phone out of airplane mode 8 Enjoy the fact that you have just outsmarted those fake tech support scammers

Text in webpage keeps changing sizes even when pressing on a link (and I could not go to that page or will go to a different one). Only applies to desktop view, mobile looks fine to me.

Attached images are from the Shipping Wiki from Fandom with the text issue. If I scroll down and try to press to go to an image page, I would go to a wrong link/page most of the time. Also, not a Silvaze fan.

Thanks!

https://mobile.linuxtoday.com/infrastructure/this-is-why-leading-linux-distros-going-to-remove-chromium-from-their-official-repositories-210122003507.html

if you go complete story link https://asktogrow.com/linux/this-is-why-leading-linux-distros-going-to-remove-chromium-from-their-official-repositories/

it shows up with filthy ads... (almost porn)

i was expecting firefox to 'Block hook up ads/ porn. Also, i wish firefox add-ons enabled on firefox ios as well. i understand the technical limitation.

could you please add these in your future releases? or child safe option?

thanks

I tried to type “teddy bear” into the url bar. After I typed the letter “t”, it autocompleted a url that began “th”. I kept typing. Instead of overwriting the “th” to “te”, it kept the “h”, leading to “the”. The result was “theddy bear”. This reproduces 100% of the time for me. Variants on this bug make it difficult to type in search terms.

I have a short screen recording of it in action but this form won’t let me upload it—photos only.

As per the title, if I click on address in iMessage on my iPhone 12 (vers. 14.3), it will open Firefox app (vers. 30) and Firefox will infinitely open up new tabs with an Apple maps URL (Apple maps is uninstalled). I have to minimise Firefox to stop it, and then spend a few minutes closing tabs.

Seems like a bug?
