Hello I am unable to log into my email the below message keeps popping up. "Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in. For more details, please see this link" I have reset my password still having the same issue. Please assist!! thank you!:) Georgia

I can no longer enter a password on the login page at https://secure.bankofamerica.com/login/sign-in/signOnV2Screen.go. I was able to change my password but it didn't help. A BofA agent could not identify the problem and walked me through the login using Chromium.

I have the latest Firefox installed on Linux Mint. But in Firefox privacy settings there is no longer a way to choose browsers. It just says "Firefox is currently your default browser". But every time I do a search, it automatically search with Google. That never never happened until I installed latest Firefox. If Firefox is forcing me to use Google, that why do I need Firefox?? Please explain?

I am a Dropbox user. I have until recently been almost strictly a Google Chrome user. The PDF seamless behavior I have been seeing in Chrome is like this: 1. If I click on a search engine result for a PDF, I see the PDF opened in the browser. 2. If I click on Download at Dropbox, the PDF is downloaded to my PC.

On installing Firefox, the behavior I saw was like this: Whether I clicked on a search engine result or Download at Dropbox, I saw the PDF opened in my browser.

When I changed the Action for Portable Document Format (PDF) (application/pdf) and Portable Document Format (PDF) (application/binary)to "Save File", the PDF downloaded to my PC. But so did search engine links.

I seem to have fixed the issue by making my settings like this: 1. Action for Portable Document Format (PDF) (application/binary) to "Save File" 2. Action for Portable Document Format (PDF) (application/pdf) to "Open in Firefox"

Fingers crossed. ??? I was wondering why it wasn't set up this way on installation.

The master password really needs a timeout setting unknown to me my computer was hacked I fell asleep with my Firefox browser open and they logged into my bank account the only reason I caught it was because I got a email stating I had logged in my bank account I was lucky I caught it fast and changed my bank password and removed the virus. Yes I know I should of logged off but I got side tracked and fell asleep. The timeout option on password managers are universal except for the Firefox password manager.

Using Firevox 142.0.1 on a MacBook Air. I always have "Always ask you where to save files" checked in Preferences, but lately it sometimes fails to ask me. For example, if I try to download a file from Google Drive. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something I can do about it?

Hello! I just moved to Firefox a week ago and so far, I'm really happy I did. Nearly everything is better. That being said, there's one feature I used all the time on Chrome that I can't get working right here, and that's auto scroll. On Chrome, it worked no problem. When I clicked in the scroll wheel, it turned on auto scroll and would stay enabled until I clicked it again. One Firefox though, this isn't working right. When I click in the wheel here, it enables for a quick second before disabling itself. It's super annoying and makes it unusable. I found out it's because scrolling on the scroll wheel cancels auto scroll on Firefox, but not on chrome. So how do I make it so scrolling on the scroll wheel doesn't break auto scroll? I was customizing my background by loading a picture. It's adult in nature. It should be my computer in my in my private home. When something amazing started happening. If I load ANY image with a naked woman on it After a few minutes Fire fox auto removes it. I have done this 30 times. I use ANY fire fox picture it's fine stays there forever. Load ANY picture with a naked woman on it and poof 2 minutes later it's gone. So please can you explain to me why whats claimed to be the most private and secure browser around is censoring me in my own home about what backgrounds I can have? I find this highly disturbing. And I am quite serious I have had them removed at least 30 times. I'm 56 y/o If I want a naked woman on my background it should be my business not fire foxes. Also no chrome is not doing it. neither is windows. It's Firefox removing them. Any explanation would be nice.

I am using firefox on ubuntu (firefox 142.0.1 (64-bit)) and using vertical tabs in the side bar. I recently started using the new(ish) feature of tab groups and I absolutely love it. I was using STG (simple tab groups) before and that fine, but this is way nicer. The only small annoyance I have, which could be a mistake on my side. Is that some of my tab groups are shortend seemingly randomly? If I for example make a group named "phone" it is visible like that, but after a couple of hours it goes to "ph...". I thought it may be sidebar width not being wide enough, but you can see in my screenshot that is not the case. Strangely if I make a new group it is always complete.

So I was wondering if I am missing a setting or config entry.

I really like using the "Shortcuts" (Top Sites) feature on the Firefox new tab page. However, there is one problem: Firefox automatically adds new shortcuts from recently visited sites.

I would like to keep only the shortcuts I manually pinned, without Firefox suggesting or adding new ones automatically. Currently, if I disable browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.topsites, all shortcuts disappear, and if I leave it enabled, Firefox keeps adding unwanted sites.

Could you please add an option to disable automatic shortcut suggestions while keeping only pinned shortcuts? This would make the feature much more convenient for users who prefer to manage their shortcuts manually.

I follow the instructions to pin an extension, but when I click on the jigsaw icon, I'm taken to the add-on manager page with the ability to review recommendations and manage the extensions and themes. There is no option to pin any extension. I saw this issue on an expired post to Mozilla but the answer was incorrect.

Any ideas? I can't access my password manager extension even though it's there....

I am trying to get thee group speed dial back that was on my computer today. i paid a bill tonight and when I was done the speed dial went away. I rely heavily on those pains. how do I get them back. I have been trying for 2 hours and can't understand what to do.

I love Firefox and generally really appreciate the way y'all operate as a company and developer.

However, I really don't like this new function to add tabs to a group. Since it rolled out, I'm always adding tabs into groups when I don't mean to. Really, it's creating a group almost every time I move a tab around. If I delete the group, it's just more clicks and distractions to deal with.

In the past, when you've rolled out new features like this, you've also made it very easy to turn off any new feature we don't like. But I can't figure out how to turn this off. Is it possible?
