Back button jumps back two pages. Happened on Google search. Cannot recreate on demand.

Also goes back to previous search if select a new search from the autofill drop down(recommended searches?) twice.

Ex. "I searched Scotiabank, then select Scotiabank phone number from suggested searches. Once there, I select Scotiabank customer service chat but instead of getting those results it sends me back to the original Scotiabank search results."

It doesn't always happen with here but can always seem to recreate by using the back button.

I already have "Automatically install updates" and "When Firefox is not running" enabled.

But after each Firefox update I still get the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes..." prompt and "Firefox is installing your updates and will start in a few moments" window. These are inconvenient as they require user input and take up time.

I don't get these on all other browsers I use (including Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, Brave), which all update in the background seamlessly.

Is there a way to prevent these in Firefox and just have Firefox update seamlessly in the background like other browsers?

Every website I try to visit with Firefox produces a page which reads "Suspected Phishing." And when I click on "Ignore and proceed" I am taken to a blank webpage. Each web address in the URL field reads "SmartDirect.de." Firefox has thus, for me, become a useless browser.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem with Firefox? In answering my question please bear in mind I do not have a PhD from MIT and am not an expert in computer science.

Since the latest update to my Firefox, videos (for example, in documents such as surveys) either do not load or they freeze. And in some streaming applications, either they play with no sound or when sound is turned on the video freezes. This was never a problem until recently. iMac desktop (2017) Ventura 13.7.4 Firefox 136.0.2 (64 bit) The same issue does not occur on Safari or on my iPad (using Firefox). Any advice?? Thanks.

I am using an old version of Firefox e-mail, and Firefox has advised me in the past to try a newer version. How can I access the newer version? Also, if I don't like it, can I easily go back to my current version? (I have Windows 11)

When I log into my modem it sends me a banner notification my "version of Mozilla Firefox is unsupported. Your gateway's web interface has been tested to work with a minimum version of 63.0.3. You may proceed with an unsupported version." However, when I am in my browser, and select Help--> About Firefox--> it shows I am on version 136.0.4 and up to date. When I access my modem, why does my modem say my browser is out of date when it isn't? Does my modem have a different browser version from my computer, and if so, how do I update that? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I have profiles on desktop , i had enabled sync in all profiles when the feature was first introduced. the account icon always showed that it is syncing , but in the sync tab , no visited tab list appears of any profile in both the desktop .,, i installed firefox on the android today to check synchronization but its tabs never show in desktop profile and the android tells last synchronization never....neither the desktop tabs appear in android history

Its only happening with youtube. it zooms into the wrong section of the screen and not the video

Ive tried restarting my phone, making a new tab, reloading the tab, exitting firefox and then going back in and turning off extentions but nothing works.

Hello, Is it possible to improve the Thunderbird Android widget? Indeed, when I select the widget and install it on my phone's desktop, it is light. A dark and transparent mode is needed.

Furthermore, it would be useful to integrate Firefox Relay, as this concerns emails.

Bonjour, Est-il possible d'améliorer le Widget de Thunderbird Android ? En effet, lorsque je sélectionne le Widget et que je l'installe sur le bureau de mon téléphone, celui-ci est clair. Il faudrait un mode sombre et transparent.

De plus, il serait pertinent d'intégrer Firefox Relai. Car ça concerne les e-mails.
