Search bar is pink and every time I open firefox the first time of the day it comes up pink. Very irritating and makes me wonder if firefox is worth keeping. Thanks

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play any samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. I stopped using Firefox because of the level of BS Big-TEch involvement and lack of PRIVACY. I've been using BRAVE. But they are'nt much better. So I'll switch between as I feel fit. Just so you know. My recent irritation is Shortcuts. I like the speed and convenience of CHOOSING & USING my shortcuts.

I do NOT like the option of "sites you save or VISIT" That is NO option. I DO not want YOU choosing to save every site I VISIT and loading onto my screen. This is not a choice. Just because I visit a site WHY do you save it to shortcuts? It's a PITA deleting crap I don't want.

You should ONLY save the sites I CHOOSE to add.

MALWARE ? When you are collecting more data than you know what to do with it is Oppressive.

I can see my current usage of Firefox being cut short again at the point of annoyance with this parasitic tech.

Oh and the proccess of creating an account and passwords blah blah just to ask a question that changes sweet FA...... No wonder there's anger. Idiots.

my best search site is firefox used it long time started as month ago will not scan says address looks wrong or suspicious and does nothing can you help, memory cleared many times nothing helps it seems to affect google also

Since today, Firefox is no longer loading the previous settings. Every time I open it up, it opens as it was newly installed.

I already did the following: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1226076 To no avail.

What changed? I didn't change anything in my computer for this to start.

For the past couple weeks, comments on WSJ articles and opinions have not shown up in Firefox. They show up just fine if I use Edge. I'm running Firefox 128.0.2 on a Windows 10 computer.

I run uBlock origin. I tried disabling it, but that has no effect on the problem.

Firefox would not open so I ran an old installer I had and now I've lost everything. No Bookmarks, no history, no add-ons. is there anyway to get it all back? Is everything in a file somewhere?

This has been going on for a long time - I, and others, can't copy info from some web sites - - CAN do so with Edge.

Followed the instructions on google to fix but does not fix. And, yes, the box in my settings is checked.

Firefox has suddenly stopped being able to load any website. I am connected to the internet, Chrome and Safari do not have this problem.

I have tried the following:

• Restarted Firefox
• Updated Firefox
• Followed every instruction on the following site: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can
• Deleted and re-installed Firefox

The problem still persists. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I am on a Windows 10 Pro PC 64 Bit OS with 16GB of memory, running Bit Defender Total Security. I have used Firefox for many years and have never had a problem The browser is version 128.0.2 (64-bit). A few days ago in the application menu told me there was an update and said to install it because it couldn't check for updates. I downloaded and installed it three times now, but the problem still persists. My Bit Defender also keeps popping up messages telling me "firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to aus5.mozilla.org. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one." I have had over 2000 of those messages in the past few days.

I have never had an issue like this before. Is there a glitch in the most recent update? What can I do to fix it outside of resetting my browser, which logs me out of my google accounts and causes me to not be able to get back into them.

If you open this website: https://www.zonnebloem.nl/ with the option Enhanced Tracking Protection the cookiebot popup banner is not shown as the third party tracking cookie from domain https://consent.cookiebot.com is protected and NOT loaded.

Does this mean Mozilla Firefox sees the https://consent.cookiebot.com cookie as a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked as nobody gave consent to load the cookiebot consent popup?

Question 1: Is according to Mozilla Firefox https://consent.cookiebot.com a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked if you as a user want to have guarantees over your privacy online?

Question 2: Is it not strange to see Firefox blocking a widely used cookie consent system to protect users by giving consent to select which cookies will be set yes/no?

Hey, so I accidentally deleted a password on my pc in firefox, but on my phone its still "stored" but when I click on the password, it doesnt show it anymore.

is there a way to restore the password? without a backup or anything?

Hello I am constantly switching between Bookmarks and Tree Style Tab in the sidebar. The toolbar button "Show sidebars" is fine for switching between sidebar displayed or not, but switching between Bookmarks and Tree Style Tab is not so convenient : i have to go through the small menu and select either Bookmarks or Tree Style Tab, which is two clicks and a mouse move away, boring when you are constantly switching... Is there a way to add a second toolbar button to do this switching (or have two buttons, one for Bookmarks and one for Tree Style Tabs) ? Hope someone has a solution, thanks in advance. Alain Coste
