Some months back when I get gmail from the Economist and try to go to an article the gmail links to I get this: Our apologies. An error seems to have occurred. The article actually appears very briefly but then gets overwritten by this error message. I am using an up to date Windows 10 PC.

When I go to Microsoft Edge this behavior does not occur. In Firefox I have tried clearing the data and cache but to no avail.

Any thoughts on dealing with this? I do not want to go through many heroic steps to fix this.

I visited eBay.com yesterday, Now, every time I search art or photos, an eBay page selling such items pops up. Adblock Pluse extension does not stop it.

My Environment: Host Machine - Intel Core i7-4771 @3.50GHz, 16GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 210 Display Adapter, Intel Gigabit Network Connection (ISP connection is around 700MBps).

OS - Windows 7 Pro V.22H2 Browser = Firefox ver.128.0.3 64bit.

Virtual Machine (VM) - Oracle Virtual Box Ver. 7.0.20 r163906, RAM = 4GB, Network = Bridged Adapter.

The Problem (In my VM only because I never browse sites on my Host PC): Toronto Sun website "Sign In" Screen never loads. A quarter circle just goes round and round. The website in question is - https://torontosun.com/sign-in/ The website itself does load fine and I can browse the site and all articles. But I cannot log into the site because the "Sign in" screen never loads. Also, Firefox tabs crash very frequently on this whole website.

Firefox is the only browser that I have on both my Host and VM (I have deleted MS Edge since it cannot be uninstalled).

On my VM, I tried installing Google Chrome and it works fine. The Toronto Sun Sign In page loads fine and I can log in.

On my Host PC, Firefox actually works. I tried it to see if the "Sign In" screen appears and it does and I can log in. It is only on my VM that it does not load.

What has Changed:

The Oracle Virtual Box software was just updated from ver. VirtualBox-7.0.18-162988-Win to ver. VirtualBox-7.0.20-163906-Win.

What I have tried: I have already done the following: Cleared - "Everything" including History, cookies, Temporary Cached files and pages and Site Settings.

I do not have any add-ons or themes installed.

I have cleared all Windows and User Temp Folders and files. I have rebooted several times in the past couple of days.

I tried increasing the VM RAM from 4GB to 6GB - did not help.

I would appreciate a solution.

Firefox on Android has a "Collections" option,it is convenient displaying some websites on the startup page.But "Collections" seems not to be synced.It might be more useful if add the option to Sync List. Or it can be used as a specific section of the bookmark (but displayed on the startup page), similar to the bookmarks toolbar on PC. This makes it possible to sync frequently useful websites on both mobile and PC devices. Thank you for reading this.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug, or me not using FF properly.

I want Firefox in general to ask me, which profile to use when started. So in the Profile-Manager, I removed the checkbox for "Use selected profile without asking as startup".

Now, I wanted to create a shortcut for a specific profile, so I tried running `firefox -P "myProfile"` or even `firefox -p "/path/to/myProfile"`. In both cases I get the window asking me which profile to use.

2ndly its hard to get in touch with your crap support line can you also make it easier to get hold of your team rather going through 1000x pages, why is everybody not keeping any proper contact information you and google are same [edited]. exceptionally down the drain support. Greetings, a couple of weeks ago I started getting a black page with the message that is the title of this question, "We can’t connect to the server at www.googleadservices.com." when I click results from a web search and even clicking on links from within pages I already have open. This has happened in the past but only once in a while and isolated incidents. However right now my browsers are almost useless because of it. It started with Firefox as it is usually my default browser so I switched to Chrome and then Edge and now they are all doing it. I have posted a query in Windows forums and Microsoft help because it is with all my browsers but I am also posting in the individual browsers' help sections as well to get as much info on this as possible because it's really frustrating me and I want it fixed. I'm only able to visit 1 out of maybe every 25 pages I try to click on from any of my browsers!

You need to obserb first about one week and to know the need of person then make an action if they have some mistakes happen to avoid personal life like happen to me my sim card got broken suddenly because you did not do process by process it's even if have a certificate the operation we need to clarify first those access

can't download files from any sites (it write eror....) i can dowland only from google wtf i live with this problem -+ 1 year if you need to write me i add my discord and telegram to images if you have some ideas to fix write me please. Thanks🤍

Apologies if I haven't described this very well. After loading a page on Firefox, loading the next one and any further ones could just be typed over the previous one as many times as you needed. Not any more, if I try typing in a new address nothing happens and I have to cancel and load Firefox again. Never used to be like this, can anyone help please?

I'm using 128.0.3 (64-bit) for Windows, on Windows 10.

1. I open Firefox normal window. It has some pinned tabs. 2. I open an additional private window 3. I close the normal Firefox window. Only the private window remains 4. I close also the private window 5. I restart Firefox normal window. The pinned tabs have disappeared.

Hi. I cannot use stripe payments. I am using FF vLatest and have added it to the popup blocker exception list and every other exception list I can find. I have done this for http://stripe.com and for whatever website is trying to use stripe. No stripe payments ever work and I always get the same error attached. I have tried another browser and it works. How can I find out at least what is blocking the payments so I can disable it?

Gmail is not working. I enter the link https://mail.google.com in the address bar and nothing opens (white screen). This has not worked for about 2 months (maybe even more).

I've been using Mozilla Firefox since ... well, before Firefox, I used Netscape, your great-great-grandfather.

I am not blind. I have some issues with visual objects on web pages like scroll bars when you can't effectively use them. They are too thin. Mozilla has had complaints about this since 2022.

Please Fix them. Otherwise I may have to migrate to Chrome or Edge and leave my Mozilla legacy behind for a differnent fork in browsers. It's a dealbreaker folks. People will leave this browser and probably are every day for one stupid reason. Scroll bars than are inaccessible without using something like windows magnifier when you need to scroll.\

C'mon Fix the scroll bars!!

Firefox locking up today 07/31/2024 - won't compose send email in Yahoo/AT&T; only loads half a page of AOL News. Yes, I've done a restart. Chrome seems not to have this issue.
