I recently needed ti reload a Windows 7 backup and then re-upgrade to Windows 10. Now, whenever I open a new FireFox window I get a banner warning from K9 that says "You must log in to this network before you can access the internet." It shows a button "Open network login page." which attempts to go to the K9 page which is long since out of business. I uninstalled the software and re-booted, but still the message appears every time a new FireFox window opens. Before I go the dangerous "regedit" route, is there any way to easily remove this annoying thing?

I've been lead to believe in previous editions of firefox you could turn off the redirect message and instead just allow firefox to redirect.

However now (as of 112.0.1) i can't find any way to do this. I repeatedly get redirect message and i would prefer the browser just do the redirect instead of having my click a link. I know exactly where the redirect is coming from and i have no problem with it and i don't need it to have a warning.

Hi, I would like to join the chorus and say that the unified extensions button really needs to be fixed somehow. I can't stand it -- it slows down my workflow and seems like "change for change's sake".

But if you guys are serious that it can't be removed for some reason, then at least PLEASE make the unified extensions thing something that can be expanded horizontally along the toolbar (instead of just being a dropdown list) with preferred / most used extension icons visible in it, so that instead of

>clicking the unified extensions thing >scrolling down to find my extension >right clicking on the extension >choosing the option I want

It will just be

>click on the extension icon in the special unified extension section of the toolbar >the options for the extension pop up and I can choose one JUST LIKE THE OLD WAY THAT WAS EFFICIENT

I wouldn't even be opposed to an entire Extensions Toolbar with super security or whatever built into it. As long as the icons are still conveniently located and accessible!

I have a bunch of extensions that I don't need to interact with regularly, like my adblocker, https everywhere, or the thing to make webpages appear in dark mode. But every time I click the unified extensions thing they're right there at the top of the list. My screenshot extension however (for example), which I use constantly, is somewhere hidden near the bottom of the list, so I'm constantly scrolling down awkwardly looking for it. It used to be one button click to take a screenshot, now it's like five or six clicks and takes around 20+ seconds every time. IT'S VERY BAD USABILITY DESIGN. It might "feel" cleaner or more organized to put everything in a list, but it's not as functional for the end user (in my opinion).

Please reconsider your design of this thing and investigate the possibility of keeping certain extensions visible on the toolbar somehow to remain easily accessible to the user. Hopefully I've been able to explain my concerns to you. Anyway, I still love Firefox on the desktop, but if you guys can fix this that would be great.

I just created a website, but it's not working in Firefox. It works in Chrome and Opera. I get "Server Not Found".

I tried going to settings and clearing cache, that didn't work. I tried pressing shift while hitting reload, that didn't work. I also tried pressing Ctrl+shift+R and that didnt work.

Please advise!

Im opening hbomax site and everytime i just get 3 loading dots and sudden black screen, i tried clearing cookies and cache, i tried troubleshoot mode, its still the same. Site works fine on chrome

Recently I rebuilt my Widows 11 laptop, which meant that I needed to install Firefox again. I did this and signed into to sync all my add-ons again. The add-ons installed without issue, however the icons for them are not displayed on the tool bar. I can access them using the jigsaw icon, but this is is less inconvenient that accessing the add-on directly.

I then reset Firefox in case it was a glitch and signed in again to allow the sync to reinstall the add-ons. This time only the Privacy Badger icon made it onto the toolbar. Again I can access the add-ons using the jigsaw icon.

I have tried to add the add-ons to the Customise Toolbar setting, but they do not show up in the list of things that can be added.

Firefox version: 112.0.1 (64 bit)

I have attached images to show what is happening. Is there anyway I can force the add-on icons onto the toolbar to make them more accessible?

My browser this afternoon updated to 112.0.1. Prior to the upgrade I was watching 9now.com.au. Post the upgrade the 9now pages will no longer show the controls or login boxes.

login.nine.com.au now shows a complete white page.

Devtools indicates there are almost no network queries being issued in comparison to edge.

To test I spun up a VM that had firefox 111.0 installed with the above web site working. I let firefox upgrade to 112.0.1 and it stopped functioning again. I downgraded to 111.0 again and everything works again. Seems 112.0.1 is breaking it.

in our organisation i need several domainnames to be added in network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris and network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris, so that sso for some webapplications is working. some are allready in the list. when i make changes to the list, everything is working ok, but when i clos all mozilla windows and restart mozilla, the changes are gone.

I use Firefox daily, but since the last update I'm unable to make card payments on websites and I'm having to use Chrome as a backup. Up until the update everything was fine and there were no issues making payments on the Royal Mail and Asda websites. When I click the pay button on these sites, the payment window does not open up.

I've tried disabling all addons/extensions to no avail.

I have recently moved to firefox and wanted to set up an address autofill so I didn't have to type something in everytime but I could only find an autofill for credit cards instead. After some digging I believe the issue is that I am using the en-GB version of firefox as I live in the UK while address autofill is only available on the en-US build. If this is the case is there a workaround so that I can have address autofill and if there is not a workaround does anyone have any idea when this feature is likely to be rolled out to the rest of us. I'm trying to add multi-containers add on to a new Firefox install, it installs, but the icon doesnt show up. It's not hidden in the customise toolbar menu either. Have tried removing/re-adding, but it doesnt come up. It is possible to get to it by clicking the extensions icon, then clicking multi-container, but this isnt very user friendly. Is there a way to resolve this?

I am looking for information regarding the support life for settings that are defined in the Preferences (Deprecated) section of the ADMX templates provided in GitHub. There doesn't appear to be a definitive answer as to when these preferences are no longer applicable to a version of Firefox. The term "Deprecated" certainly applies they're on their way to extinction. But only a small handful of preferences have been ported over to non-deprecated template settings (like Auto Update). Is there an expected version of Firefox where all these preferences are meaningless? Or will they be supported indefinitely? "Industry recommendations' from 3rd party security vendors are bloating my policies in the domain space and I can't definitively say they are 'no longer supported as of version xyz' for all these Firefox Preference settings, which happen to be about 80% of the security parameters defined by STIG and/or CIS Workbench.

Just a little while ago, I wrote about how Firefox updated and now my Gmail "stars' are gone, I cannot access my work Webmail, and PBS Passport is a problem.

I forgot to mention that I play NYT Spelling Bee, and until this update, I could click on "Today's Hints" and see that page. Now a picture winks in for a second or less, and then the screen is blank.

Something is definitely haywire with Firefox if so many disparate sites are a problem, right?

'Screenshot' no longer works. I've used it for years, but this week it doesn't work. I am a woodworker, painter, gardener, handyman, not a computer tech. I want 'screenshot to work like it used to.

In the past week I have found that I am now unable to log into some websites, can no longer download pdfs from websites, or word docs from email. I have had issues trying to access chat functionality with my web hosting company. This has forced me to have to start using Chrome is many cases.

Firefox is my favorite browser and I want to continue using it, but if I am unable to access the websites I need to, when I need to then I will have to eventually jump ship.

Is this happening because of recent browser updates? From search from past issues people have had I've seen firewall settings a possibility, so could it be my firewall? Or are websites just not trying to support Firefox anymore?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
