These two FB features work perfectly on Safari.
Is this a Firefox problem, or a FB problem?

Can't browse pictures with arrow keys in Facebook

This problem started about a few days ago. I can't use my arrow keys to browse (navigate) pictures in Facebook. For example, if I press the right arrow key, Facebook will display the next picture. But for some reasons, I can't do it anymore. And also, if I try to press the arrow key, the comment section under the picture will disappear.
I've tried to start Firefox in Safe Mode, reset it to it's "virgin" state but the problem still remains.
Also, I've also tried to browse pictures on other browsers (IE, Chrome, Opera) but it just won't change to the next/previous picture.
Any ideas how to solve my petty problem? :v

Hello, I have had this problem for a while now: Whenever I have a facebook tab open for too long Firefox stops playing media of all kinds. Videos don't play, gifs don't animate and sounds (even facebook messenger or whatsapp web notifications) simply don't play at all. The problem stops immediately after I close the tab that has facebook on it.
I have searched everywhere and haven't found someone with the exact same problem, even though some where a little similar.

I tried to disable the addons one by one but nothing worked. I cannot figure out what is causing the problem. I have also refreshed my FF starting from scratch again and still the problem persists. Sometimes crashes happen on other sites as well, but they always happen within 2-5 minutes since the last Firefox update. I have read that Nvidia hardware acceleration may be the cause, but I deactivated it under Options/Advanced/General Settings with no effect. I also tried various settings with Cashed Web Content (override/no override), but that doesn't do anything either.

Hi, I am experiencing some problems with firefox for a longer period of time. Basicaly, FF often crashes when Im logged in facebook, but somethimes it crashes on other web sites. I have tried to run FF in safe mode it looked it worked pretty fine, then I tried to complet uninstall (uninstall, clean registry and deleted remained folders), install the newest version without any addons, but wasnt succesfull. I tried to disable backspace in about:config with 2 value but then it disable backspace completely. Any Idea is that a bug or something ?

I log in to Facebook and then run a game called Throne Rush. When I am done there and try to go back to FB, the FB screen freezes. I then run Task Manager and there is a sub-process under Firefox(7) and it says "Plugin Container for Firefox". Once I delete that, the FB screen goes back to normal. If have re-installed Firefox with and without the plugins enabled and it doesn't make a difference. I am using the latest version of Firefox - version 62. I don't know what changed but this just started yesterday. Thanks

On Facebook, I am no longer able to play the videos. It was working. I have had this problem before and was able to fix it by updating Flash Player, but that did not work this time. It appears that plugin-container is trying to start, but failing. There is not error message.

The rate at whole system crashes has more or less stayed the same but this is a new glitch.
Recently Amazon crashes (a tab only, therefore no error report) on first keystroke on the password field. EVERY TIME Same goes on Facebook, the tab, and only the tab crashes on load if the messenger app is opened. Only happens with messenger open.
Since this is a tab crash, I can't see reports. If you want to see the settings I run, look at the link above, nothing has changed except running sudo apt-get dist-update.
