I had my userCrome.css set to widen line spacing in the message list, among other things. Updating to Þb 115 broke this, and since I can't inspect the css, I don't know how to fix this again.

My current css includes:

/* Message List */

  1. threadTree

treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text {

   font-size: 16pt !important;
   color: black !important

}

/* treechildren::-moz-tree-row {

   margin-top: 0pt !important;
   margin-bottom: 6pt !important;

} */

treecol:not([hideheader="true"]), treecolpicker:not([hideheader="true"]) { -moz-appearance: none !important; padding-top: 2px; padding-bottom: 2px; }

treecol:not([hideheader="true"]):hover, treecolpicker:not([hideheader="true"]):hover { }

I tried relaxed density, but it expands *everything*, not just the message list.

Also, in Firefox, how can I use this site and avoid all the animated headers?

After Thunderbird upgrade to Supernova on my Windows desktop, the "Mark as" button on the toolbar no longer toggles the status of the message. This was a really convenient feature.

Is there a way to get the "Mark as" button to work as it did before? If not, is there a way I can revert back to the pre-Supernova Thunderbird? It was a perfect program, but now with the change to the "Mark as" button and with the mouse scroll wheel no longer working (just in Supernova, works fine for everything else in Windows), seems like Thunderbird took steps backwards with Supernova.

I would like to see the sender's email address in lieu of a name.

The inbox SELECT COLUMNS TO DISPLAY does not offer an option to DISPLAY THE SENDER’S EMAIL ADDRESS.

Both From and Correspondents display the same names. Perhaps replacing one of those with the SENDER’S EMAIL ADDRESS?

Every solution which I have found for Firefox 89 "Proton" so far which moves the Tabs Bar below the Navigation Bar (AKA "address bar"), with the Menu Bar above it, does NOT move the Tabs Bar below the Bookmarks Bar. The Bookmarks Bar appears to be overwritten and blank, and occupies space below the Menu Bar, Navigation Bar, and Tabs Bar. This empty space separates the three bars which are implemented and the content of the currently-selected tab below it.

Currently, my userChrome.css file is a copy posted by Cor-el (?):

Evidently, the text editor for this website does several things to the above original text that, frankly, seem unnecessary and undesirable. The .CSS file is just an unformatted text file, so what is the problem with simply copying its contents and pasting it in to the body of this post?

Which is also to say that I do NOT have a clue as to what any line in the file is meant to do, what effect it has, why it is even in the file at all, or why it is written in the way that it is. So DO NOT tell me that I "CAN" create a Cascading Style Sheet on my own when I cannot even modify one that has been provided.

On the face of it, something is missing from the above CSS text. What change needs to be made to the above content so that the Bookmark Bar will appear between the Navigation Bar and the Tabs Bar??

Thank-you very much for your time and attention to this request for assistance.

There are times when individual emails have embedded pictures which do not fully show on my short-but-wide laptop screen. Is there a way to change the density of the headers in individual emails? Compact Density view gets the overall inbox back to how I want it, without wasting space and showing fewer email on the visible screen. However, inside an individual email there seems to be a lot of wasted space between each line of the header (From, To, Reply To, and Subject). If we had a "compact" view for the headers, it would allow us to see a little more of each email on the screen.

Or maybe the real problem is the new tabbed email? I can't remember exactly what my emails looked like before the upgrade, but I just know they look different now and the tab bars and menu bars above the individual email look odd. Whether or not the new version affected the visible vertical area of individual emails, I think we need a way to view a single email in "full screen," without all the menu bars. Currently, if we right-click on the tab for an individual email and select "move to new window," the entire program with tabs opens in a new window (Inbox tab, Tab with the email). It doesn't change the single tab into a new window the way "move to new window" on an internet browser tab does.

So can you please look at doing something to allow us be able to see more of an email on the screen without having to zoom out and making the text too hard to read?

I am attaching a screenshot which shows the header with the wasted space and also the picture which cannot be viewed in full on my short-but-wide laptop screen. Compacting the header would help some but not a lot. Opening the email in it's own window without the tab bar would help more, and being able to make that window full-screen (without the menu bars showing in green on my picture) would help a LOT.

Thank you.

Now that I have TB 115.2.2 installed I have a couple of annoying changes:

1 When I move an e-mail from my Inbox to a folder it immediately expands when I hover over it. Some of my folders have 20-30 sub-folders so it's a pain to have to close the folder so that I can see the rest of the folders for the next move. Is there a delay setting anywhere?

2 My previous version used to have the function buttons immediately above the message and the menu bar was at the top. Why have they been reversed?

3 Compact folders no longer works.
