By our today's world, we arent using anymore nor PC's and notebooks, we are using handy cellphones in our pockets. Every human has 1 cellphone, what became for everyone our most important digital life assistance. By browsing we all have bookmarks.(BM). The most people has a special collections, just like books in libraries. You can import and export BM in desktop version, but you cant handle BMs in android, but now we has more than enough free space to storage them local, or just download from our chrome. Many people asking since years long ago that create do make it possible this way. I cant see development in this way. Its extremely annoying. Without BMs a web, the net is the same when you wanna walk, drive or ride with closed eyes. No maps are available where you wanna go. No joy, no satisfaction. More and more people simply dont like windows OS, and cant afford an Apple PC, and we have androids only. And its just rising higher. No more need unprotected OS like Windows 11, and no more need a PC, what so expensive is like 1 house, apartman. Androids has cool protections with google. So we all are using and working in these droids. We do backups, and we wanna export and import our FIREFOX - BMs in Android devices. Please million zimes again and again, do it possible, its a really easy way for developers to access to storage space and being available from drive android import our BMs into Firefox. When I click on a link on some websites, the link opens with no trouble. However some links don't open, just show the url. If I copy the url and paste it into a new tab, it then opens. How do I fix this? The links are from reputable sites.

Firefox will not load my default page (gmail inbox) when launched. It takes me instead to the google help page, specifically for cookies and cache clearing. My other installed browsers work fine with launching my google account and all its apps. Image upload below is of the page that pops up. The sign-in button does not work.

When i use PIP in Debian 12 using desktop environment XFCE, I cannot move the PIP to another desktop using alt+space. The menu is greyed out.

this prevents me from moving the PIP to another screen. Is there a solution?

For the last few weeks (may a couple of months?), Firefox has not been responding to buttons on various web pages, e.g., buttons to submit forms or log in. I am using Windows 11 on a Surface Book 3. Everything is up to date.

Anyone else having this problem? Any advice?

Firefox has an excellent built-in screenshot feature that allows users to take full page screenshots of web pages. I am a Mac user. I use Sugarsync cloud service to keep my Mac Studio desktop (OS 12.6.3 Monterey) and Macbook Air (OS 13.3 Ventura) laptop in sync. I am running Firefox 133.0.

I have noticed that Firefox .png screenshots have not been uploading properly to Sugarsync for the last 6 months or so. In Finder a green tick appears which indicates that a file has been properly uploaded to SugarSync but when I go to the Sugarsync app I can see the following error message for such files "Waiting on upload from Mac Studio". This means that screenshots I take on my desktop do not go across to my laptop and vice versa.

I spoke to the very helpful tech support (Luis M, senior tech support) at Sugarsync today and he and his colleague were able to figure out that the problem has to do with the attributes of the saved .png files.

I will outline the issue in detail:

On a Mac you can examine the attributes of a file by doing the following: - right click on the folder in which your file is located and click "new terminal at folder". This opens a new terminal window - type the following: xattr -l and then drag and drop the file name from finder next to the "xattr -l" and then insert a space, a dot and a forward slash and press enter, i.e. myusername@NameOfMyComputer Foldername % xattr -l full path and file name ./

For example if I take a screenshot of the following URL: https://www.mlb.com/ and I save the screenshot in a folder I have named "Firefox Screenshots" it saves as as "Screenshot 2024-12-07 at 14-48-02 MLB.com The Official Site of Major League Baseball" on my computer. I can examine it's attributes in terminal using the steps outlined above:

The total output is over 19 million characters long due to the long alphabet soup that is generated. And this why Sugarsync is unable to properly upload the file.

You can retrospectively fix folders that contain .png files that will not properly upload to Sugarsync by right clicking on a folder, selecting "new terminal at folder" and typing the following: xattr -d -r com.apple.metadata:kMDItemWhereFroms ./

This fixes the attributes and the .png screenshots files immediately start to upload to Sugarsync. When you examine the attributes of the file again it shows the following:

I've been having issues with Cross-Origin Request Blocked errors for a while now. I'm on Windows 11. I first noticed this issue when visiting YouTube. I would go to play a video and any video I tried to play would just load forever and never play. Then I noticed I was having the same issue on Facebook. The page would load but then a majority of the images wouldn't. I can use YouTube and Facebook just fine on Chrome. The reason for the error shows as "CORS request did not succeed". Initially I tried uninstalling all of my extensions. Then I completely uninstalled Firefox using Total Uninstall (for good measure). Nothing has worked. I'm not sure what changed that would cause these errors. Could this be a network issue? I've been having issues with certain sites on my Macbook Air as well (Chrome and Safari) but I thought maybe that was because it's pretty old and not supported by apple anymore.

I love Firefox, I use it on all my devices. And daily I access facebook.com on this browser, it's been working flawlessly - until yesterday. Yesterday, using Firefox (ver 130.0.1) on my Windows 10 PC, I tried accessing a FB page which I visit sometimes: https://www.facebook.com/OpenOscillator

Rather than reaching that page, I got a white screen with this error message: "Sorry, something went wrong." And since then, even visiting the Facebook home page (or any other FB page) has the same error message.

Today I tried the same thing on my Mac (OS 14.3), using Firefox and logging into facebook.com, which worked as usual. But when I went to https://www.facebook.com/OpenOscillator, I got the same error message: "Sorry, something went wrong." And as happened on my PC, now on my Mac I can't access any FB page on Firefox.

And just to mention, I've rebooted both the PC and the Mac, yet this problem persists on both devices.

Trying this same exercise on Edge on my PC does not have this problem. Nor does it happen when doing this on Safari on my Mac.

So, this problem has only been happening on Firefox. I can no longer access facebook.com with Firefox. Do you guys have any ideas how to solve this?
