I am based in the UK and every time I enter text the browser defaults to English (United States) rather than English (United Kingdom). This is getting annoying.

text goes away on Android when switching apps, like when doing this support thread
The swiping from the URL bar feature does not work on the homepage
Is this alright?

Hi, Being that OLED and AMOLED screens have become more frequent in recent years (and seem to be coming to stay) I am perplexed by the seeming impossibility of finding a way to make Firefox more friendly towards these devices.
I would like to use Firefox with a true black theme on its UI that would waste less battery and go easier on my screen's long-time durability. However, not only do I find that there is no option to do this in-built on the app, there isn't even support for external add-ons or thèmes that could get the job done!
There really shouldn't be any reason why, even if the Mozilla team are unwilling to code the option into the default settings, it couldn't be done through a user-made theme.
Instead, the solutions I've come across seem to span from third-party apps that require rooting the device to modifications made directly by decompiling the APK!
I know this was more of a complaint than a request, but heavy battery usage is a *valid* reason not to use something like a browser, which is likely to accrue several hours of use each charge cycle.
This *is* something Mozilla should care about.
TLDR;
Please point me to a way of making the Firefox UI AMOLED-black that does not require me to mess with the internals of an APK or void my phone's guarantee.
Sorry for the essay.

Trying out Vertical Tabs, but when doing so an unremovable Flexible Space appears in the Toolbar. You can move it around, but not remove it (image #2 is trying to drag it into the Customise Toolbar icon list). This thing disappears when switching back to Horizontal Tabs.
Any clue why this is happening?

Hi everyone, I've been experiencing a persistent issue where my Firefox (Windows 10) randomly crashes or closes. I recently noticed that this always happens when a JSON file appears in the following directory: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution The strange thing is that this file shouldn't even be there, as this is my personal computer and it is not managed by any organization. I have already tried deleting or renaming the file, but after a seemingly random period, it gets recreated automatically. Here’s what I have tried so far, without success: - Deleting/renaming the file - Checking the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox (but the "Mozilla" folder does not exist there) - I have never used any third-party antivirus software (only Windows Defender) Does anyone have an idea where this file might be coming from or how I can prevent it from being recreated? I’m not very tech-savvy, so I would greatly appreciate simple explanations or step-by-step instructions. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi. I use to could type a search and it would give me details without directing me to Bing or Google. It doesn't give me an option to go to bing. I type and then it takes me to bing and then I have to type out my search again. Bing doesn't come as an option as a url it has to be manually added. It use to and then i thought it was weird it was removed. Secondly, I tried to delete the Google search because I hate Google but it won't let me delete the url. I think someone has manipulated my app. I need help

The browser always refreshes the website page by itself, opening the page and switching the browser to the backend or foreground but resting the screen for a while will force the page to refresh, and data that has been entered but not submitted is lost.
At first I thought it was a wrong setting or a problem with the extension. After I reinstalled it, it still occurs, and it happens with all versions (nightly version, iceraven and waterfox as well).
Looking into the information I thought it was the WebSocket live link that would automatically disconnect to save power, and network fluctuations as well. Disconnecting switches to the connection prompt screen, which looks like a refresh. Maybe my guess is wrong.
I currently mitigated this by modifying the "media.aboutwebrtc.auto_refresh.peerconnection_section" function to false to alleviate this, but it still forces the page to refresh.
My device is:Xiaomi 13U, hyperOS2 by android 15

Dear Mozilla Support Community,
This is a rather interesting observation I've recently made, but it appears that with every new software update on my Firefox Developer Edition browser, that I inexplicably (and mysteriously) get signed off/logged off of all my already logged in websites, and while this isn't a major tech issue, per se... It is an annoying one and I would like some clarity on this.
Is there a feature that toggles this on and/or off? Or perhaps, this is a known bug? What is the bottom line on this?
Thank you!

Hi there,
I'm sorry if this question already exists or if a ticket has already been opened, but I can't find any information on the internet. I'm experiencing something strange. When I try to open the password manager, Firefox asks for my password to unlock access. The password is correct, but then Firefox keeps asking for it and there is no way to go back and I have to close the application.
Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

At first I thought it must be Gboard, but Gboard does NOT do this in Chrome or Brave. only FF. I also uninstalled Gboard and reinstalled it. Samsung Keyboard does not do this. It is specific to gboard within Firefox and I suspect it's Firefox triggering the glitch even though it only happens on gboard. Because it does not happen on Chrome. Only Gboard+Firefox.
