I received an email at an email account I don't use for my Mozilla Firefox, thus why seems suspicious and strange to me. So I researched it here and saw the answer to another persons same question. I did go and check, I am logged in. Firefox is my primary and I use it constantly. Also on my phone and tablet, same account. As I write this, I have about 15 tabs open and active. The email associated to my account is not the same as the one I got this email at. The email I got it in, I use for solicitation, signing up for things and things I don't trust. This is what the email stated (same info as what was posted by the other person that got this same post) I copied and paste vs. Screen shot... so the Mozilla logo didn't show up. MIND YOU, I HAVE NEVER GONE 2 YEARS WITH NOT BEEN ACTIVE ON FIREFOX. AND I ONLY HAVE ONE ACCOUNT. PLEASE ADVISE --- The email they sent it to is Judi1139@gmail.com

I didn't know which topic to pick. But recently, my Thunderbird email stopped loading. I worked with my internet provider to help figure this out, but they could not. I don't know what to do. Also, I don't know my PIN.

Recent new system. Previously used Office Outlook and backed everything up to a PST file. Found I couldn't import into Thunderbird, needed to install Outlook first and import it there. Did that. So I have an Office 365 Subscription active and have Outlook active. Now I'm trying to get those messages to Thunderbird, but when I go to Import and select Import From Outlook I get a red error "No profile found" and can't continue. Is there something I need to do regarding Outlook for Thunderbird to recognize it?

Hi, After submitting my first question, I got a prompt that the confirmation e-mail is sent to my primary e-mail. The problem is that I cannot open my primary e-mail because of outdated security protocol of the server. I can contact the server owner, but it might take awhile and it doesn't mean that I could open my primary e-mail after that. Also, if a confirmation e-mail looks like "Approve sign-in to Mozilla" one, containing the authorization code, the problem is that I don't see where to enter the code and I don't see instructions. Hello, I tried following the steps on [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/.../moving-thunderbird-data-to-a-new-computer]. However, I currently have a flatpak installation where I land in a folder which also has executable among other files (?). I do not see the usually named profile folder and therefore cannot copy it to my new computer. Do you know how I can move in this case? Thanks

I'm currently using Thunderbird ESR, which I'm happy with, except for a few things I can live with.

My question is if I change to Thunderbird Release will my different email addresses still be visible on one page?

It's imperative that I can see everything for each address on the same page, and sometimes move messages from the folder of one email profile to another.

When I look at the Thunderbird Release page it's very confusing, so I'm thinking "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Should I stick with that philosophy?

After last upgrade, I restored an earlier profile to RESTORE my bookmarks and passwords.

I set my old profile as DEFAULT.

YET NOW, I have the highly annoying problem that when I open a link from my email, it opens in the profile-release new version.... I then again do not have access to passwords and bookmarks.

Mozilla Firefox should address these issues, rather than have MILLIONS of people individually trying to fix the problems that the latest release caused.

I'm afraid to close my browser windows or even restart PC like I often do; I'm afraid I'll have to waste another 6 hours (like yesterday) trying to restore the profile, bookmarks and passwords.

The employee who set up Thunderbird for us, has moved on to a different line of work & no longer with us. Her name is on all the emails and templates. How do I change these and how do I secure our emails from her use now that she moved on?

I edited & saved each and every Template earlier today. Then, when I went to check my work, nothing had changed.

Help me please.....and talk to me like I'm just beginning computers, because...I am.

I am trying to add another email account to my Thunderbird account and it won't let me. It gives me the attached Error message whether I try to do it automatically or manually.
