Hi, I am not sure how it happened, I am now in a position where I can't use my Thunderbird properly. Every time I open TB, it asks for "please enter your Primary Password" which I don't have/deleted? If a try to remove the tick from "Use a Primary Password" it opens a box requesting my Current Password, I have tried the last one and the one before, none are accepted. When I search in Saved logins, it seems to me to be empty. in short I seem to need a current password to change my password. It is a vicious loop. Can someone please answer how to reset firefox size after you've been using a bigger screen and go back to the laptop the top bar is lost way up and I cant catch it to move it to resize the firefox window. Using Fn and F11 to go into maximize mode doesnt help me at all cuz I end up in full screen on the FHD screen but cant grab and drag the window to resize it again - and please NO comments about using FN and F11 again. This is an issue thats been since years - cant figure out why ppl who are tryin to help think others dont know the difference between maximization and the window being bigger than the laptop screen and being lost. So FIREFOX key-shortcut for window size reset URGENT PLEASEEEE - Im having this issue couple times a week. To fix it I gotta go again to the bigger screen reduce the size of the window and then disconnect - which is soooo horrible.

I want to update to the latest version but the "Text selection magnifier" is stopping me from updating firefox android. Because I find it pretty useless and very distracting when viewing text while selecting the text in a website/article. Please provide a toggle for it in the Settings.

Since the two or three latest Updates of your browsers, a strange bug occours everytime watching a video. When I pause it and let it play again, the video goes under quite some lagging/stuttering. The audio is fine, but the video is not on screen is not. I have to go back on the video bar, so it runs smoothly again.

And before it comes, I already tried the usal methods, such as clearing the cache, clearing browser history, cookies, used privat tab, deibstalled adblocker etc. Nothing worked, and it happens even with different versions, such Firefox normal, nigtly, waterfox etc. And with every video player, not just a specific one. And I teued it on two different smartphones. Is there any solution or planning to fix this?

Lately, Firefox for Android has started "forgetting" active tabs. I have changed absolutely nothing in the settings. Most of the Active Tabs I've had for years are gone. Now I only have about 5 left & they get corrupted every couple of days. For example, the 3rd one in the attached Screenshot: I'm playing "catch-up" on old Guardian crosswords, currently on 15,179. At irregular intervals, say every couple of days, it gets replaced with an older one, 15,166 for example. I suspect it must have been changed in the Version released on March 19, 2024 (124.0)

I am on a brand-new machine and having trouble setting up the Firefox browser.

When I click on a link it opens in a new window with all the tabs ready opened.

How do I open a tab without opening a new window?

Also, how do I set Yahoo.com as my default search engine?

Thunderbird continues to lose my password for incoming and outgoing mail. Occasionally it works, but I keep getting messages that my password doesn't work / enter new password. When I go to passwords, it does not show the incoming or outgoing servers so I can make sure my password is there. I use Xfinity for my email. It was suggested earlier that it is an Xfinity problem. My Thunderbird email is essentially unuseable. I need it to work!

I am watching a Twitch video on Firefox. When I open a new Firefox tab and drag it to another monitor, the Twitch video skips forwards about a minute.

I also occasionally notice skips or pauses when I switch from one tab in the same window back to the Twitch playing tab.

Is there any way I could fix these problems?

I am still receiving regular emails from other sources. But for some reason with this particular email or group of emails, they are unable to send to me anymore. I have no idea why. I have attached the message that my client received when they attempted to send.

Hello. In the last few days when I visit my Shopify website, the pricing on my products is not visible. This is only for me, nobody else has this issue. I do not have this issue on Safari, or on Firefox when I open a private browsing window. It is something to do with Firefox, but I don't want to have to open a private window every time I go to my store. Is there a solution? This has only been happening for the last few days. Thanks

I changed back to Thunderbird from Windows Mail. When I did Thunderbird picked up my old emails from 2018 and before. How can I get them out of Inbox and Sent Box ? TU.

i have been away from my pc for 6 weeks and cannot access thunderbird. it repeated states that the login server IMAP.telstra.com failed my email hillsec@bigpond.net.au i have tried changing the in server and outgoing server to match my ipad and iphone which can receive emails. please help me to restore everything in thunderbird.
