My computer messed up today and i had to recover it, but i didnt get to save my bookmarks. I've had a mozilla account since 5/2/2024 (i think, thats at least what it says was the date i made my password) and i've saved a lot of bookmarks i cannot lose.

i forgot what email i had made it with tho, so i created a couple of new mozilla accounts and idk if that has messed up the profiles i'm using? i read the mozilla guide on bookmarks and i have like 3 profiles under "profile:default-release" (my settings are in danish, idk if that's what its called in english). but i cant tell which one it is? furthermore, when i click on "manage bookmarks" i get to this place that says something about bookmarks saved on html or something - which i know i havent done.

oh also, before any of that, the first thing i did was synchronize my google chrome bookmarks with firefox and idk if that has messed something up?

Hi, Before Firefox's Version 125.0.1 (64-bit) latest update I could download any file from my safe office environment, behind firewalls, VPN, ... Now despite of unchecking the "Block dangerous downloads" I'm still unable to download files. I have Windows 10 on my laptop.

Here are the steps: Click on a file, Save "File not downloaded. Potential security risk." Click on the message - Allow download The result is a file with content "HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed".

Please help me to work the downloading again. I am aware of the safety but I want to switch off this feature.

Prior to update 125.0.1 corporate intranet users could download PDF files from our Line of Business applications / Webpages. Today after the latest update the PDF files download but are corrupted. The site was added to the trusted webpage without improvement.

I tried to login to firefox sync on a different system due to repair. My entire data is gone and all passwords are also gone. What to do.

I even tried login with username and password apart from google sync. It still didn't worked.

When I open github it loads incorrectly as shown in the picture, after I press F5 to reload the site load fine. I have tried deleting cookies and I am using any ad-blocker. Any help? Thanks.

I'm using MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 and recently, my browser has started freezing up for several minutes. It seems that the culprit is the "fontd" process because when I open Activity Manager that process spikes to %50 to %80 CPU usage. Killing the process does nothing and quitting out of Firefox does nothing either. I made sure Firefox is fully updated, but still nothing. I'm not sure whether it's a problem with my Macbook Pro's fonts or if it's a problem with Firefox, but I'd like my browser to be reliable.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or what I can do to resolve it?

I am using Firefox on Mac - I usually minimize instead of closing - It has started making a TAPPING NOISE I thought it was my computer - but It now has happened to 3 different computers and one is brand new - T T T T TTT , I have narrowed it down to Firefox, when I minimize it will do it, then opened and it stopped and min. then start, repeeat - now it does the TTTTT all the time with it open or minimized. What is going on?

I have used Firefox as my browser for many years and lately my emails won't open or if they do it is very slow sometimes and won't allow me to delete emails. Not sure why this is happening and I asked by email provider and they told me to follow some instructions about fining the menu button of Firefox which I couldn't find then he gave me a link and I tried to follow but was unable to make any progress. I use spectrum email services

After installing Thunderbird i had first download problems for new Firefox Versions. I tested around, installed everything new and found the solution. Somehow the Maintenance Service didn`t work properly on my machine and after deinstalling and restarting i can update firefox again. Problem remains: When trying to install Offline Languages , see picture, i get the message that it does not work. I tried everything possible, including reinstalling and deleting all old profiles (was a lot of work). Any ideas?

I have Yahoo.com on my desktop which takes me to my email account. I would like to get it on my task bar but when I try and move it down it is adding it to Firefox on the task bar. I can't seem to get it down there to stay

I would like to change my password for Mozilla Firefox account. I am doing so because I have been notified of a password security breach. However, upon signing into my account via https://accounts.firefox.com/signin (it doesn't matter which device), I cannot change my password with the new one without the red-colored incorrect password window popping up. I know my signin is correct because I have just signed in using it. Whats the problem guys?

Every time I would try to log in it would always redirect me to a website that contain only the words "Expected redirect cookie to exist"

It's really annoying because it only happens on Firefox. For some context I just re-installed Windows 11 and I heard from another post that re-installing Windows 11 will help but I do not want to go through the whole process again.

I have already tried:

• Turning off DNS over HTTPS
• Turning Off Proxy
• Clearing Cache and Cookies
• Reinstalling Firefox

My Firefox recently updated to version 124.0.2. Afterwards my taskbar shortcut broke, so I pinned a new one manually (right-clicked Firefox in start menu > open file location.) When I opened Firefox it had reset the primary profile to be default, so I changed it back to my BetterFox profile. Since then I've run into several oddities, such as Firefox crashing when it's running in the background, getting an error saying "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window," when I try to open it, invisible shortcuts in my taskbar(see image) and my bookmark visibility resetting from always to only in new tab every time I start up Firefox. Please help me.

Jag använder ovpn satt 10 timmar igår med att lösa ett dns läckage men det fungerar inte ovpn säger att det är ni på firefox som kan lösa detta och inte de. Jag vill gärna få hjälp via teamviewer. Mvh Carl Sverige

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

I have windows 11 and the firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

After last update, Missing "TRASH" folder and only have Junk Folder that everything is put in and marked as "Junk". Then those messages are all marked as "junk" automatically that may not be Junk. Tried to create subfolder named "Trash" and will not allow. Windows 10, 64 bit Dell laptop I-5 Inspiron 5759.

Every time I restart firefox, my spellchecker languages disappear, leaving me only with one - the addons are still installed, they're just not available to be selected. Even now I can't spellcheck in english. Please help.
