I have been having an issue with firefox logging me out of all the websites I stay been logged into, like youtube, facebook and amazon. I have my settings set to where things should be remembered and cookies should not be cleared but i am still being logged out of the sites I stay logged into. This issue started in October after one of the firefox updates. I am having the same problem on both of my computers, one with windows 10 and one with windows 7. Firefox appears to be clearing cookies because even though I don't stay logged into ebay due to having two accounts, my search settings in ebay keep getting cleared too, just as they were if I had cleared the cookies myself. And my settings are set to where cookies should not be cleared.

I keep getting freezes, slow downs, sometimes a warning that a page is slow to respond. I'm running FF 83.0. I have the following add-ons: - AdBlock - Colorful Tabs - Hover Zoom - Scroll Zoom - Search by Image.

I'm guessing one of the add-ons is causing the problem, but don't know which one. I've done the restart firefox to stop freezes multiple times. Still happens. Any ideas?

I HAVE SYSTEM RESTORE ON MY FIREFOX. When I purposely restarted my computer, for an unknown reason, a session came up but my previous session did not automatically restore as usually it does. I did something in that window and was thinking about something else and deleted it, ie: the session. OH S _ _ _! Just lost my restore previous session opportunity..... I opened another session (and restore previous session was grayed - not available) and have not closed my session nor re-started since. Is there any other way to go back and recover my lost session windows and tabs? .... not from the previous session that I accidentally closed, but from the session before that? Thanks in advance. George

Hi.

My former laptop got damaged and I couldn't remember my Firefox password to restore my saved passwords.

So, when I reset password, all the old passwords in the former laptop didn't sync or rather were lost.

Now I have the Hard Disk of my former laptop and when I connected it to my new laptop and searched for Firefox "password" files I found passwords.json in a particular location: E:\***\****\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\4ee3ocax.default\weave\changes.

I am looking for a way I can import this password file and access them in my Firefox account in my new laptop.

Thanks

I figured it was high time I installed a more current extended release of Firefox while keeping the current extended release version I have which I need in order to keep certain extensions, like the MAFF format, working.

But when I went to install it (custom install) into its own folder with a different version name, the button which showed up said "upgrade" instead of "install." I DO NOT want this installation to overwrite that earlier version. But that "upgrade" button makes me think that is what is likely to happen. How do I install it without it overwriting the older extended release version I already have installed?

On a different topic, I have learned that Flash will be discontinued at the end of this month. Can anyone tell me how this will impact my browsers? My online banking site uses Flash extensively, and I prefer using Firefox for that site. I'm assuming Chrome, which keeps updating itself automatically no matter what I do to stop it, will accommodate the change. But if I want to keep using that older extended release version of Firefox I have, what is likely to happen?

Thank you,

Dandelion

URL I have one website that I can not get past the login page on any browser. I can type the address and go to the login page. I type in the ID and PW then click on the login button. Nothing happens. I only have the one URL that will not let me sign in. It's driving me nuts. The company that has the website tells me everything checks out on their end.

I need help. I have a number of old bookmark files saved and I am not able to get the saved files to load. I try to load these and they come up as text. no active or clickable links. I really need to get this issue fixed as I am trying to locate certain things and don't recall where I originally located them online. Can someone maybe call me and see if they can help me. I will explain in further detail then. Thank you so much.

I'm a long time user of Firefox and have an email acct at AOL. Several days ago, as I was logging into AOL email (from Windows PC) I received a new notice that the login did not match my device and I would need to use a 2nd verify code (via cellphone). That worked and all was well. The next time I tried to log into AOL, the sequence repeated ... so, where does Firefox keep its host PC's ID ... can it be edited ? .... why did this start --- did I get hacked?
