Hello Team, About a month ago Thunderbird stopped downloading new messages, on my desktop pc. I have a Cox email account, and about a year ago they switched to using Yahoo. It's been working fine until last month. When I open TB, the inbox count of unread messages keeps climbing, but it's not adding new emails. I think it's actually adding duplicates of already downloaded emails. Some of which it looks like it is adding several copies, like 3 or 4. Can you tell me where to start? Many thanks.

Microsoft has been narrowing it's sharing of provider access, for customers of Thunderbird e-mail, same as with other software packages, that were using authentication and other services to allow use of MS software and be up to date on usage. I can't find the Spam anywhere and so I'm afraid that I may miss some emails that are not spam whatsoever. The spam log never contains any email. Several weeks ago emails quit coming in. Then, a couple of weeks later, email receipts resumed. However, my address book is no longer available, except for about a half dozen addresses used very recently. I had probably around 100 email addresses gathered over the years. I now have no access to them. How can I get my address book back? Thank you, Konreid Etheredge

After using Thunderbird email for several hours today I all of a sudden get a message saying "enter your password for (my email) on imap.mail.yahoo.com. I tried my Yahoo password and my Thunderbird acct passsword but neither worked. Where do I find the password they are asking for--and why, when I am actively using thunderbird email, do I get interrupted asking for a password??

Where is the page with the imap data?

I have installed thunderbird in my virtual desktop, but whenever i try to open it, it gets in the not responding state. CPU and memory utilization are all fine. I tried re-installing it with default and custom setting but still getting the same issue. can you please help here?

getting msg: Unable to write the mail to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges and that you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.

I have enough disk, I reviewed all settings, reloaded Firefox, now I don't get the above message, but it will not access my maill from the server at USInternet.com. my mail is [edited] @usinternet.com

On Linux Mint, latest version, thunderbird downloads mail from AOL. But not all the mail is downloaded. I can send a message to my aol email address and it will show up shortly in thunderbird on my linux desktop. But some email never download to thunderbird. The messages can be viewed on AOL, but they are not found on thunderbird..... No error messages show up at all.

I am puzzled why some messages cannot be found when I go to look for them on Thunderbird. Any help would be appreciated. Andrew.

HELLO: My ISP provider is Comcast and I can eMail from their eMail system - do not like it. I always use TBird eMail. Recently got hacked and the Turds bulk mailed the whole list. Now my TBird App is giving me this error code as shown below.

The system settings have not changed that I know of. Just my Password has changed and that works because I can access the eMail. I just cannot send anything out.

I would be grateful for any suggestions as to how to fix this problem. Thanks!!!!

I have 3 ms email accounts. 1 of them keeps asking for credentials, but only gives me a blank window with nowhere to fill in my creds. This started yesterday. Everything I have tried hasn't worked.

For some reason, after using Thunderbird with no issues for years on my Windows 11 Desktop, I started getting an error message pop-up window, saying "Enter Credentials" but it's a blank browser window, with nowhere to enter anything. Since then I can't receive any e-mail, so I've had to use a different app, but I'd prefer to use Thunderbird. I've tried re-starting the computer, un-installing and re-installing Thunderbird, changing the Firewall settings in Microsoft 11 but NOTHING has worked.

Thunderbird says transfer calendar data to new PC as read only. Transfer is asking for read only as it is aborting task. How do I mark items as read only? Advice please

Data in preview (when I move the mouse over the calendar entry) is always correct. However, the data differs from the one when I click on Edit.

For me it works when I delete cache.sqlite. But then I delete the newer entry (which is displayed correctly in the preview).

Any ideas? Where does the data in the preview come from? Apparently from a different source than the data displayed in the edit view?
