I've installed the apt repo but get the error:

Aside from the missing file, why isn't the repo https instead of http?

The VPN turns itself off frequently...using it on my Android phone. It seems that every time I close my browser (Firefox), if I check the VPN status it is is off; although I have turned it on and connected it prior to browsing. I cannot find a setting that seems to deal with this. Please advise how to maintain service.

Thank you for following up. We are showing no issues from our side in regard to slowness or issues with the servers during the times you are having issues. It seems that the issue is not from our side rather an issue with the vpn when on our page. I would recommend trying to get in contact with Mozilla support and see if they can find a solution for you from their side.

My Amazon account password is blocked by all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxs. I have tried to unblock it, but can't find a way to do it. Nothing happens. I called Amazon and they said it was an IP problem. Please unblock it. Let me know whether you or Amazon can send me a temporary password.

Recently, when I try to use Mozilla VPN, it doesn't start with Windows, and when I open it, it automatically closes itself. Is there anyway to fix this issue? I've tried re-installing, but the issue persists.

Could not find any other way to say "Thank you so much" for such timely and immediate help!!! I had been working on getting the VPN up and running for two days. I know every answer is not always as quick depending on the complexity of the task. But I am so thrilled at getting the VPN working!!! My technical knowledge in understanding somethings is limited. So "thanks again" to all of you for all that you do!!!

Can I configure a device such as a Raspberry Pi or a router running OpenWRT to act as a VPN gateway on my LAN?

I would love to use Mozilla VPN but I don't want to have to configure each individual device on my network to point through it. The only way I would want Mozilla VPN would be if I could have a gateway device in my DMZ sub-net that I can route my traffic through.

I use a "password vault" - in particular Roboform - to store my login info (username and password) for many different sites. I am very happy with it. Can I continue to use Roboform with the VPN? That is: will Roboform identify the site and automatically call up my username and password and give me the option of inserting them? Will the site I am trying to access via the VPN recognize Roboform's input? Thank you, Randy

I use the UK servers for my VPN but some sites, such as BB.com, recognise me as from outside UK and modify the pages accordingly. Can I overcome this?

Getting a message when trying to open one particular site, "Northern Tool", saying The site is not available in my country but I am in Kansas and the site is in northern U.S. On another PC I can log in to the site using Express VPN. Could there be a glitch in Mozilla VPN giving a location to the website from a country not allowing web service? I have been using Dallas, Texas as my server location and tried Denver but I keep getting the same message. Contacted the Northern Tool phone line but they don't report any other trouble from anyone else.

When I attempt to connect to Mozilla VPN on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S8), the "Masking connection and location" message is displayed for about 20 seconds (it used to pass in maybe one second), the "Attempting to confirm connection" displays for maybe two minutes, and then the app returns to the "VPN is off" state. Using the same WiFi network on my desktop PC (Windows 10), the connection is made in just a few seconds. The Android phone also fails to connect on any other WiFi network. This has been occurring for the last few weeks. In all cases, I select "New York, NY" as my location.

As the subject states, the app keeps turning itself off on my iPhone 8 plus v14.4.. It can happen when I'm using it or not. I've rebooted and reinstalled the app but still a no go. I've also tried a few different VPN locations. Any idea? Thanks all.

I'm still using Win 7 as I am resisting Win 10 for the time being. Can I have VPN or Private Network while using Win 7 as only Win 10 is mentioned on the info page.

I recently subscribed to Mozilla VPN and it's been working fine for a couple of weeks. But in the last 24 hours something changed and it won't stay connected.
