Hi Firefox.

It is possible to synchronise an Firefox shortcuts for visiting pages, to another synchronised computer? (attachment)

Machines are Win10 and Win 11. Current FF = 107.0.2 I have several PC's, previously NOT synced. All have overlapping bookmarks - some unique, others the same. My question has to do ONLY with bookmarks. My main concern is how to do this across multiple different machines - not all online at the same time - and NOT LOSE DATA!

1. When I sync machine A with machine B, I assume entries that are different are copied to the server AND then duplicated to the machine that did not have it.  Q:  Is the item that determines the uniqueness the NAME or the URL?

2. For entries common to both machines: copied to server, left alone on both machine. Q: To be considered the same - do they need to have both same NAME and Url? 3a. Same name but different url? What happens? 3b Same url but different name? What happens?

............................ Now assume we have 2 synced machines with identical bookmarks. What are the rules / priority sequence concerning the data interactions (specifically deletion ) when one machine is offline and the other adds / deletes a bookmark, and the offline machine has made some additions and deletions before it comes back online (eg. signed in)

Firefox on my samsung galaxy A15 is not syncing my macbook pro Firefox bookmarks. Tried a few troubleshooting tips and still nothing. Instruction keep saying to pair from within sync settings but i dont know what that means. My camera is the only way im able to scan qr codes.

Is that something on the addons or any else to sharescreen between my pc to my phone,? I need some help to direct pointer for a bit longer distance...need some information please.. Thx's

I was wondering about password recovery, or account continuity when changing a password.

I have a new machine at work and want to add my firefox account....

Respected Sir/Mam I saved my password on Firefox but when i reset the password of my firefox account all my saved password are gone. How Do i recover all my Pass??

I have changed my default search engine, but the setting is not applied on my other devices. I have had to manually change it for each device. I have checked my Sync settings and everything is checked.

how to restore bookmark,password,extensions,etc ?

the last time i already registered account, and with imported data from another browser : i can use bookmark menu, etc THEN i reinstall my windows, i login account in firefox, and : DANG! , no saved bookmark, no saved password, my old extension + preference

dont tell me firefox still use : "firefox.exe" -profile "%profilepath%" like old method (v.52.3.0ESR) for saving bookmark,password,extensions,etc ?

did i made mistakes, or firefox account cant save bookmark,password,extensions,etc ?

Hi, I am a big fan of Firefox Sync in general, and of the "send tab to other device" feature in particular. I have Firefox on all my devices (Android phone, iPad, PC, work laptop and a laptop in a cabin) and while I'm browsing, I do send tabs to other devices a lot, because it's a cool stuff to checkout, but not in the moment, or not in that context: news articles or blog posts discovered on the couch but relevant to work, some items I see in the shop but I want to check dimensions prior to buying, some cool idea to check out while at the cabin, etc. My day-to-day browsing experience relies heavily on that feature.

My issue is that one of the device (laptop in the cabin) is used only randomly, with sometimes weeks between it's turned on again. And after around 2 weeks, that entry disappears from the possible devices I can send the tab too. I do understand where it comes from, as it allows keeping a clean and meaningful list, I can live with that, no worries.

But is there a way to "keep alive" a device beyond these two weeks? At the minimum, something on the mozilla account's device list, like a "confirm still relevant" button next to the "sign out" one.
