Video of the issue

If i open a link to redirect to an app, let’s say wikipedia, it will redirect fine. When i switch back to Firefox, the mobile version of the link i clicked on will be loaded instead of just displaying search engine search results where i clicked the wikipedia link. (Admin note: edited to fix formatting issue)

Another thing that happens is if i click on the link, still being wikipedia, get redirected to the app, then close out firefox, the next time i open firefox, it will redirect me back to the wikipedia app.

This issue I have been having is not just related to Wikipedia, this is for any other link that may open a related app I have installed on my phone.

A white toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen (when using a Bluetooth keyboard) or above the floating keyboard (if using the iPad on-screen keyboard). It takes up space but serves no function and often makes it difficult to view whatever webpage I’m looking at, or, even worse, to see what I’m typing if the input field is at the bottom of the screen.

If the “Done” button is clicked, the bar goes away, but then doing so also exits the input field, so I can’t type any further if I close this toolbar. The up/down arrows seem to serve no function.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox app but the issue did not go away.

This does not happen in any other app, including other web browsers like Safari.

Any advice, or a bug fix, would be much appreciated.

I don't understand where some bookmarks are when using iOS.

For new bookmarks, I see a row of "Recently Saved" pages on the home page. But I can't find a "Recently Saved" folder in the bookmarks menu.

When I sync with MacOS I see the new bookmarks in a new folder "Mobile Bookmarks". But I can't find a "Mobile Bookmarks" folder on iOS.

Finally, on iOS, I don't see how to access the bookmarks I added to the Bookmarks Menu in MacOS.

How do I contact Mozilla customer support? The volunteers never actually answer questions completely. I need verified instructions from Mozilla employees. Why tech companies rely on volunteers with no company loyalty is amazing. I'm not having iPad issues, I'm having Mozilla support issues.

On my iPad when I tap on Menu Icon > History > Trash Icon > Everything, the tabs refresh/flash and then the order of the tabs change. For example,

Old tabs: 1 2 3 4 (active tab is 2) New tabs after clearing the history: 1 3 4 2 (active tab is now 3)

Is there a way to prevent this? I’d like to keep the original order of my tabs.

Recently the iOs app for Firefox 123.3 began opening a new tab everytime I woke the browser app from sitting in the background. Very annoying. How do I get it to open the last active tab instead of inserting a new tab?

Is there a way to export passwords on the Firefox iOS mobile app? I know how to do it on my desktop/Windows device, but not on my iPhone (iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17.5.1). Please help!

I have quite a lot of passwords stored in my iPhone. I would like to sync (or, if not possible, export) these passwords to my Firefox browser on the same iPhone.

Ok, so first everyone needs to know I love Firefox, I have never donated a cent to Firefox. I think I have burned by FIREFOX MOZILLA HOW? I am not sure, because I am not an expert as all of you, but: I uninstalled Firefox because my iPad kept freezing and does not move on my iPad and all my four phones. While reinstalling Firefox, I see that one of their products called Monitor said my accounts have been compromised about 700+ instances. Then I proceed to find out how my accounts and private data was compromised? Well when I saw the list, you can imagine how long IT IS??? well, I was given a choice do it by paying $8+ a month/yearly and or manual; so what is the question how my addresses got compromised if I only use Firefox, Isn’t Firefox the self appointed SUPER GREAT BROWSER AND ADVOCATE FOR SECURITY AND INTERNET USER RIGHTS AND SO ON? Well again I am not an expert, but what I’m am so FXXXXXG burning stupidity it is that when I attempted to use the service, the FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS OF SECURITY your FUL NAME, YOUR DATE OF BIRTH, YOUR CITY AND STATE. Well, I am sorry today I lost flight on this browser, back to Safari, I guess. LIKE AN STUPID IDIOT I GAVE MY FULL NAME, MY DATE OF BIRTH, MY CITY, MY STATE TO FIREFOX/MOZILLA. Hi on my ipad 10 ios 16.1.1 with firefox 129.2 (44469) I am "paired" or logged in as my username BUT i simply cannot autofill passwords - even though the box "use saved password" appears on sites ive registed....

I then tried logging out and in again and repairing the device and - same deal.

Also, when i goto "settings > passwords" it says:

"to save and automatically fill passwords, enable face id, touch id or a device passcode.....learn more" That support article does not seem to solve anything for me.

I am using firefox on my desktop and my iphone and both of those work.

How can I get the download for version 78 for Firefox? My Mac is on 10.11.6 and my Firefox won’t open bc the newer version isn’t supported. I need the old version and can’t seem to find a way to download it. Please help!
