Hi there,

Our website is not showing to our customers and they are receiveing this error MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING

We have checked our site with SSL Labs https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=locomotivestation.com.au and it returns showing the SSL is fine.

We can see the site and operate on Google Chrome but cannot work out why it is not displaying on Firefox.

Any suggestions?

I'm getting the following with some websites since the most recent firefox update. It happens with outlook mail, facebook and my bank (and others) all of which I would expect to be up to date.. Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to outlook.live.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Occasionally I attempt to access a web site and the system asks if I want to sign in with e.g. b2clogin.com I really dont want this and would pfrefer to sign in with my email and password. Any help much appreciated!

At computer cold boot on windows 11 home pro, Firefox view is open even though it is not in the start menu. It displays a flashy investment type site with a popup "sign up now" window over it. It does not happen on every cold start but does regularly. The site it displays does not show in history before of after it happens. I can find no place on the computer where that site exists, Bitdefender doesn't find anything and neither does Malwarebytes.

Is this something that Firefox did at last update to 132.02 which is when it started happening? Are you now going to have ads all over?

How do I stop this before there is an accidental software install from what looks like a very questionable website.

It was called "Trendview" which an existing website that doesn't have a great reputation and no way to contact them on their website that I can find.

With the last update of iPadOS 18 and Firefox I recognized, that when in background and when I switch between apps, the Firefox screen is showing a website with private information. It is always the same screen from a wensite where I had to put private information in. Even a restart with reset and a new installation of the firefox app does not change that.

In connection with the fact, that private browsing mode is not the default on ios this is concerning me. Firefox should be private first!

When in background the app switcher should show nothing from my browsing window. Is there a way to change this behavior?

I can open Firefox and it works fine on my (admin) user account, as it has for years.

Starting today, when my wife is logged in on her account/user on the Mac, when trying to open Firefox there is a prompt "Firefox is trying to install a new helper tool" and requests the admin name and password. I authorized yes to install the helper tool, and then the Firefox icon bounces on the dock indefinitely and Firefox is "not responding" and never opens. If I force quit and try again, I get the same prompt to install the helper tool and the cycle begins again.

I think this started after I updated a BitWarden extension on Firefox on my wife's account, but not sure if that is what provoked the problem. The same Bitwarden extension exists on Firefox on the admin account, and that Firefox works fine.

What I have tried so far: Shut down all BitWarden apps. Refreshed Firefox on the admin account - which deletes the BitWarden extension. Moved Firefox to the trash. Restart the computer. Re-install Firefox from the admin account (Firefox again works just fine when admin is the user). But Firefox still does not work when another user (my wife) is on her account - same issue with asking to install a helper tool and Firefox never opens.

Hardware: MacBook Air M2, Seqouia 15.1

i access the Website of the NAS (there is no more Support of this NAS, which was earlier IOMEGA)with it's IP-Adress in the local Network. i need this to administrate the NAS, access to it's Data is not concerned. I've found that some of my emaIls in very latest Thunderbird mail client on Windows 10 have had their content replaced with a phishing email - the title of the email is as per the existing email received yesterday but the content is a phishing email made to look like a contact request from a motor insurance provider that I used years ago and the email is addressed to the email address I used when dealing with said insurance company.  It's only an issue with Thunderbird as the email looks fine on my mobile phone and in Outlook.  Either Thunderbird itself is compromised or one of the installed extensions is compromised.

Has anyone come across a similar issue?

I'm running an antivirus scan but I think I might uninstall and wipe clean Thunderbird if the scan shows no issues.

I do not want companies to hold my hand and secretly micro mange my browsing. How do I turn off Total Cookie Protection completely. I am blocked on some sites even if click on the Shield and turn off Total Cookie Protection.

We are manufacturers of networking devices.

As most networking devices, ours can be configured by navigating to the default gateway IP address via the browser. With the rise of security awareness, various regulations are forbidding the usage of HTTP. This is bothersome to us, as connecting to our devices via HTTPS and our self-signed sertificates will always throw an error of an unsecure connection to the end user. We understand the technical reasoning for this and that users are able to ignore the message, but this does impact our user experience and it may even discourage users from using our devices.

As these regulations will be impacting networking devices globally, we want to ask you if there are any workarounds for the self-signed sertificate "unsecure connection" message. Perhaps there is an argument that can be set, or an ongoing effort from browser vendors to assist networking device manufacturers with this.

Any information or help is appreciated.

Since updating to the latest version 128.4.3esr (64-bit), I’m having trouble with external content not displaying in emails. Even though I’ve enabled the option under "Privacy" > "Email Content" > "Allow Remote Content in Messages", external content is still generally blocked.

Every time I receive a new email, I get the message: "To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message."

In the previous version, this worked without any issues, and I didn’t have to manually allow content for each email. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this, or is this perhaps a bug in the current version?

I think browsers should slow down their release cycle and release secure and debugged software. Take the time to fuzz, use static and dynamic security checkers. Maybe a release every 3 months. I am tired of switching between browsers to escape hacking attempts.
