I have a Ledger Nano S crypto wallet. Not all cryptos show directly in my Ledger and I wish to use MetaMask to view them. When using Chrome, with my Ledger connected and active, my Ledger doesn't connect due to "unknown error". When using Firefox, with my Ledger connected and active, my Ledger similarly doesn't connect due to "unknown error" although in this case there was an additional screen note from Firefox regarding "ongoing problems connecting Ledger devices to MetaMask (origin April 23?)". When using Brave browser there is not a problem viewing my tokens (although a different problem is that I lose token upgrade functionality - hence my desire to connect Ledger to MetaMask using a different browser - preferably Firefox). I use the latest versions of the browsers and Windows 10 in conjunction with Avast One anti-virus. I’ve also cleared cookies and cache several times. All drivers and software are up to date. Any thoughts on rectifying my connection problem please?

The speeds I'm getting both on and off a VPN is slower than other browsers. I've compared Firefox to Google, Brave and Edge. All are much faster, especially in the upload speeds.

I tried changing my IP address with a free IP address in Network Settings but that didn't work (because I searched my address online and it didn't change) so I added Firefox "Hide my IP" extension and that didn't work, either. I went to a few websites and I got popups telling me I needed to hide my IP address. How can I change my IP address without paying for a VPN?

After some recent updates, I cannot download any file, especially pdf.

"Share" -> "Save as PDF" does not work for me.

When I click any download button, either for pdf or other type of file, the download progress bar is animated indefinitely without any visible progress, no files are appearing on my phone.

hello. i just added two emails to our thunderbird email program: jfreilich@live.com and slederer@live.com. i keep getting this message: Login to server outlook.office365.com with username jfreilich@live.com failed. and no matter which password i enter i continue to get rejected...however, if i hit cancel then the mail comes through. rather funky. any idea what's up? this is the first time we are using an imap rather than the pop3. we do have two other emails on thunderbird that uses pop3 without any issues. appreciate your help as i fear i am loosing emails but definitely they are being greatly delayed and not downloaded automatically.

Thunderbird has started requesting the password for my outlook.com account. It accesses the gmail.com account just like always, but in the last few days it keeps wanting the outlook.com password.

When use chrome I can double click with select IP address. But It's only select one number in Firefox. I think the chrome behavior is more compatible habits of people.

I know layout.word_select.stop_at_punctuation config . But It's not. In chrome, only dot will be part of number.

for example: this is a IP: 1.1.1.1, you can try it.

in chrome will get: this is a IP: "1.1.1.1", you can try it.

but in Firefox only select 1

Firefox will not let me log in to my Lowe's account nor my Petsmart account. I have no trouble using other browsers. Is this a settings issue or a issue between Firefox and those websites?

Safari has a menu option to "Close All Windows" (Command, alt W).

I am curious to know why Firefox doesn't.

The only way to close-all that I am aware of, is to quit Firefox and restart. Very frustrating!

There are sub-menu functions for individual tabs and such, but no simple way to clear the browser.

(I'm on Mac OS Sonoma)

I downloaded some files while in private browsing. I'm absolutely positive they fully download as I was able to see them in my gallery and set some as a phone wallpaper. After I closed the tab/private mode, all the files were just gone. I do not have the setting to delete on exit enabled.

One file that I chose to delete myself was able to be restored so I was able to see I wasn't going crazy, but all the other ones don't even come up as deleted in Total Commander or anywhere else on my device.
