Thunderbird 115.12.0 inline image encoding does not work and neither Thunderbird nor any other email client can decode the images. I would not be concerned if the images were instead sent as attachments -- anything would be better than the situation right now. Here is what a the sent message looks like (truncated):

I keep getting the attached error msg when trying to send an email. I've changed it to "Normal Password" as advised, but it's still the same. Any help would be appreciated. Regards norman

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. I was getting warnings from my e-mail server that I was near the mailbox size limit, and Thunderbird displayed a percentage bar in the lower right corner. I've deleted a lot of large messages and want to see how far I am from the limit now, but now the bar isn't displayed. Is there a way to refresh this? Or is it a warning that's only pushed from the server?

(Unfortunately, my webmail site doesn't compute the size correctly and shows me at over 400%, so I can't see the actual size there until the server sends me another warning.)

I've been using Thunderbird for many years with no issues. I opened it today on my laptop and all my accounts, settings, emails, calendar items, etc. are gone. It's asking me to set up an account. I have years worth of saved emails from 4 different accounts and they are all gone. How can I get them back. I am using Windows 10.

I have just altered my Hotmail settings in Thunderbird to take account of the Microsoft OAuth2 requirements. I can still send from Hotmail but cannot receive (download) incoming messages.

When I open Thunderbird, or check for email, I see the text "******@hotmail.com: Host contacted, sending login information......." at the bottom but no messages are downloaded, and eventually the text disappears (I know there are messages waiting as I can see them using the Outlook app)

I have a notice in the bottom right of my Thunderbird screen stating 103mb of 110mb IMAP total (93%) has been used.

I presume there will be consequences should this reach 100%!

My mail server is showing no issues of quotas being reached.

Is this an issue that relates to Thunderbird quotas?

Can anyone advise how I can reduce the 103mb total that is being shown?

How can I get rid of this junk.

If I can't, then after many years of Firefox, I switch to another browser as my default.

I have a verizon.net email account at AOL. AOL now requires use of a one-time-use "app password" to sign in from Thunderbird. This does work but it seems like now I will have to go through this process (going to AOL web mail and requesting a new app password) every time I reboot my computer or restart Thunderbird. Is this true?

The behavior began with fifteen to twenty crash messages appearing. After which the browser would stop responding and be unable to reach out to the internet.

Network connectivity was confirmed as I was able to access my VPN and corporate teams.

I submitted as many crash reports as I could. Eventually the crash reporter ceased to function. The message is:

Firefox had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash.

Only a full reboot of the machine restored functionality but only temporarily. It returns after being put into sleep mode.

Running firefox in safe mode does not restore functionality. The behavior persists.

I am fully up to date according to firefox.

Hello, When sending a message from my gmail account within TB, I would like to automatically attach one of my other adresses as bcc: . How can I do that ?

As an alternative, is there a way to automatically copy the message in my sent folder in my gmail account to my local sent folder ? Using a filter perhaps , but I have been unable to create a filter that operates on the Sent folder.

I recently installed Thunderbird on my mac. It seems to work well, except that it will not show my Archive folder (simply named "Archive") in the list of folders. I can see from my mail provider's web app that it is there and has my messages in it, and if I use search in thunderbird I can find messages in the Archive folder, but the Archive folder is completely missing from the list of folders. (I can see other folders, just not Archive.)

I did find how I can customize what folders Thunderbird will put Archived messages in, but that's not what I'm looking for. What I want is to be able to see the already existing folder with messages archived by other clients, e.g. the provider's web app.

I am using an older MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.6, for which the latest Firefox is 115.12.0ser (64-bit). It has always been working like a champ, but a few weeks ago, individual YouTube video pages look very odd. Usually the related recommended videos are along the right edge in one row, and below the default video window is the title, description, and then the comments.

The problem I have is that these two components became transposed, and if the video is displayed as full screen, the page can be pushed upwards to show the title etc got squashed below the video window, with the recommended videos still in a grid below it. I hope the included pictures are sufficient to illustrate the issue.

Another computer, an iMac running El Capitan 10.11.6, and Firefox 78.15.0ser owned by a family member, does not show this odd phenomenon. I must say I am quite intrigued by this, and would greatly appreciate any help my fellow members can offer.

There's an article that says we can change where attachments are stored by going to tools, options, attachments. However, I have no "options" under "tools." Thanks in advance.
