My wife and I each have our own Thunderbird accounts. They were created a long time ago, at different times. I’m pretty sure that they were not set up identically. She has recently experienced a problem: the number of new emails downloaded (as shown in the lower left corner of the screen) doesn’t match with the number of new and unread emails listed in the Inbox (the emails shown in boldface). Something else, though I think related: In the upper left corner of the screen, on the same line as the word Inbox, is a small circle with a number inside. I think that number gives the number of unread emails in the Inbox. Her number shows 20 but the actual number (boldface) is 15. Is this a serious problem? Is it a problem at all? If so, how to fix it? Thanks.

When receiving emails they appear as normal but in the background is another email of a couple of pages which has sender and receiver details at the top then lines of letters making no sense for the rest of the message.

I have set up my own domain guytec.org using Namecheap. The alias for email is tguy. I have pointed this new email to my gmail address. I can receive emails into my thunderbird Gmail box from tguy@guytec.org. I want to write emails with sent from tguy@guytec.org showing? How??

Routing the Nekobox proxy through AdGuard does not work in Firefox for Android. In Nekobox, it looks like the packet is sent and connected, but in whatsmyipadress, the original IP address is displayed. I put the local host address and port number for Nekobox in http.proxy in about:config and restarted, but the original IP address is still displayed.

When I delete an email, it usually goes to the trash, so I can find it again. Now the emails are deleted permanently and disappear. How can I keep my emails in the trash? Sincerely Helle

The program says I now have 11 emails which haven't been opened but there are no emails to open, just emails received previously. Apparently I am receiving but they are not visible to me. what happened and how to fix. I'm an amateur and don't understand computer commands.

Hello, I did look for related posts but found nothing close enough to this so I thought I would create a post. I don't ever recall having this issue before v102 was introduced but now it happens once in a while but not always.

If I am in the inbox of my main mail account and choose to delete a message, it goes away and then reappears almost immediately. There is a box that shows up at the bottom right of the screen that says: The current operation on inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account (my main mail account is shown) responded: UID MOVE failed. This account is in Canada on the Bell Canada network so perhaps it is an ISP issue?

I have 3 mail accounts set up - all IMAP. If I close TB and reopen it, the message is gone as if it required the program to close in order to complete the delete request.

If anyone has experienced this and has any suggestions or tips, it will be greatly appreciated. - Thanks, Mike
