Please see https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/understanding-email-error-codes for more information. AUP#Out-1500. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again."
The error code means: 1500 - "Your email was rejected for attempting to send as a different email address than you signed in under. Check that you’re sending emails from the address you signed in with."
I am attempting to send with the same email address I signed in with. I have not changed from the email address I have been using for years. This error started happening sometime between 2:04 PM and 4:46 PM EDT October 26, 2022 and I have not been able to send email ever since. My wife, on a different computer with a different email address started to have the same problem at the same time I did, and has not been able to send email ever since.
We can send email using webmail.spectrum.net but not with Thunderbird. I want to be able to send email on Thunderbird. My ISP is Spectrum. After two long conversations with Spectrum support they were not able to find the problem and suggested I contact Thunderbird support.
My email address is rmilliken@stny.rr.com
