I wanted to remove all of my passwords from firefox, therefore I deleted all of them through the firefox desktop version on linux mint.

On my phone even after syncing, the passwords persist. I cannot get rid of them on firefox mobile, so I thought its a bug, deleted appdata and uninstalled firefox. Reinstalled firefox and logged in my firefox account again only to see that after syncing all passwords appear again.

I really want my passwords deleted and I dont know how to delete them anymore since on firefox android I would have to delete one by one. I want them to not resync ( I dont even know from where since no passwords show on the desktop version anymore)

I want to say: Syncing of logins is on on BOTH firefox browsers. I made sure of that.

Firefox for Android allows you to register WebAuthn credentials and save them to "this device". You can test this at https://webauthn.io/ . However, I have not been able to find a way to view or remove those credentials saved to "this device". What is the location of where those credentials are saved, and how do I remove them?

Note that these credentials are not visible in Settings > Logins and passwords > Saved logins. That section seems to only be for saved passwords and does not include WebAuthn credentials.

I have a weird issue with my keyboard causing crashes. It's a bit obnoxious, but I'm mostly posting in hopes of helping development and/or seeing if anyone else has a similar issue.

I have a Samsung Tab S6 and a Reddragon K530 bluetooth keyboard. I write on the go a lot, and my favorite writing site is 4thewords, so I spend lots of time typing on Android Firefox.

When I first turn the keyboard on and connect it, if I have Firefox open already, it tends to cause Firefox to freeze up entirely. It freezes so hard that even hitting the home button on my tablet lags for a few seconds before it will do anything. Waiting does not help. If I go to Recent Apps and swipe Firefox away, it will not reopen correctly immediately. It will try to reopen, get stuck, and then a system prompt will say "Firefox is not responding." If I kill it then and reopen it, it resumes working fine.

My workaround has been to try to remember to not have Firefox on the screen when I connect my keyboard. Even just going to the home screen for a moment, turning on the keyboard, and going straight back to Firefox works fine. Turning on the keyboard with Firefox on the screen freezes it at least 70% of the time, in my estimation.

I've not seen this issue with other bluetooth devices (headphones) or with other apps. Some combination of these two is just kryptonite for that initial connection moment.

If I can provide any logs, details, etc, please let me know!

Firefox android v117.0.1 On a Samsung A52 running Android 13

When any webpage is loaded in a tab with 'desktop site' enabled and then that tab is unloaded from memory (usually by viewing another app for a couple minutes then returning to Firefox); upon returning to that tab, the page reloads as the mobile version, however the 'desktop site' slider is still enabled and will not disable when touched.

From here the only way to actually load the desktop site again it to close Firefox by removing it from recent apps, then when re-opened it will load the offending tab in mobile view with 'desktop site' off but responding to input again.

Just started happening the past few days, Firefox on my Android won't work. Keeps saying "Proxy Server Refused Connection" but I'm watching the proxy server (Squid) logs and it's not hitting the logs. Chrome on the same Android device works through the proxy, so do several other apps. They show up in the Squid logs as I would expect.

But Firefox, which was working with the proxy a few days ago, doesn't even appear to be trying.

Firefox 117.1.0 on Android 13.

Yes, if I disable the proxy in my WiFi settings then Firefox works. Turning the proxy back on and Firefox goes back to saying the proxy refused a connection.

Using tcpdump, I can see Firefox is hitting the squid server but squid is not logging the connection. Firefox changed something, everything else works except Firefox.

A lot of web browsers have this ability in their video players to skip 10 seconds of the video by double clicking right or left to go back 10 seconds (just like YouTube). This makes it much easier to skip a few seconds when watching longer videos, but right now you have the use the seek bar which skips an unnecessary amount of time.

I was adding a secondary email address to my Firefox Account, it happened that I mistyped one letter. Now Firefox sent the confirmation code to that person with the details of my primary E-Mail address, my IP Address and my location. It was my mistake.

Now, it's obvious that a confirmation code is needed because such scenarios could happen. If it was me who sent the code, then I would already recognize it was me. If someone sent a code to my email by mistake, why expose their specific IP to me?

"If you received it by mistake, you don’t need to do anything." combined with exposing IP address doesn't make any sense for a privacy-oriented browser. That's why confirmation codes are sent in the first place, to confirm the right person has access?

We have an upload button on our website for adding images to a content management system. In every other Android browser, pressing this button results in a selection choice to either upload from phone storage or use the camera to take a new photo, but in Firefox it just loads local storage, no choice given.

Is there some way to change this behaviour? I've already granted Firefox access to the camera on the phone, but that doesn't appear to have done anything.

Even if it's a code-level change, if we knew what Firefox needed in order to trigger this behaviour we might be able to work with the developers to get the change made. Right now, this loss of functionality is a problem for those trying to use Firefox.

When doing a search in Google search engine, it usually pops up with the local information and a call button. I used to be able to push the call button and it would open my phones call dial pad and I could call. Now, when you push it, it will appear to do something but then nothing happens.

I have made sure everything is fully updated, cache is clear, and there are no custom settings preventing this. I've not been able to find an answer in my searches. The only things that come close are from many years ago. This all started just recently a week or two ago, I believe.
