This is happening every few minutes now. It started right after the 97.0.0 update. The 97.0.1 update doesn't seemed to have helped.

I don't use any browser extensions.

I never saw this issue before, and I have been using Firefox as a primary browser for many years. I'm on a MacBook Air, M1.

I have been noticing that Firefox browser is being manipulated to obtain confidential information from users.

Is Firefox doing anything to stop this? The crooks who are most likely military and Others affiliated with the government are surreptitiously accessing US Citizens computers and silently obtaining credit card information, banking, Venmo, Zelle Apple Cash, etc. and ROBBiNG citizens.

This is no joke. is Mozilla doing anything to protect their browsers from these hoodlums and corrupt government officials and there hired contractors?

Every time I open a new tab or go to a tab that I have open, when I come back after my computer has been asleep and try to search for something or refresh a tab, it will give me an error message. I have to close the tab and search again then it works, sometimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times to get it to work. This just started happening with MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 and FireFox 103.0.2 updates in the last few weeks. I tried restarting my computer and I deleted the Firefox app and reinstalled but nothing helps.

Hi there. I have a MacBook Air. It is running on 13.2.1 (22D68), which I think is Ventura. A couple of days ago I noticed that while I can still download any attachment to the browser from gmail or hotmail, I can no longer drag and drop to my desktop. I have tried the download/drag and drop to my desktop capability on Safari from both gmail and hotmail, and it works fine. This seems to be a Firefox issue. Can you please tell me what I need to do to fix this issue? Thank you so much! Firefox is the best! James H.

When visiting sites such as the Russian Wikipedia, characters that are in the Cyrillic Times New Roman font display as blocks (shown in image). Safari does not have this problem.

Problem: "Video cannot be played on your device as it does not meet content protection standards" Message when trying to stream videos but only on Amazon Prime.

I have searched the internet for an answer only to be told the problem lies in the browser. I find this confusing because a few months ago I was always watching Amazon Prime videos on Firefox browser. What has changed? How can I correct it? I have the latest Firefox update (108.0.1 64 bit) on my mac Book Pro, MacOS Ventura 13.1.

Hello. I would like to use Firefox on my Mac, but my processor is a 2.7 GHZ Quad-core Intel i5 and I would want to download the Vidiq extension. I have checked the other system requirements and they are fine.

Will Firefox work with this processor? Would the Vidiq extension work ok?

I'm using firefox 97 on mac. Whenever I copy and paste an image from firefox, the image comes out desaturated as if it is using the wrong color profile. I tried changing the gfx.color_management settings without it improving. The images look fine and are the right colors in the browser, however, the issue only happens when I copy and paste images. Firefox behaves like the color management is disabled (set to 0 in config) but ONLY when copying and pasting images.

I do not have this issue with other browsers such as chrome.

macOS. Firefox is running. I enter: open -a Firefox --args -private-window "https://apple.com" (in Terminal or Automator) which I believe should open apple.com in a new private window, but although the focus change to the already open Firefox window, a new private window does not open. It does work (apple.com opens in a new private window) if Firefox is not already running, but I thought the -private-window argument is supposed to open a new private window whether Firefox is already running or not. What have I got wrong?

lost synced tabs on phone from old imac. goal was to move all tabs on phone to new imac desktop. is this possible? Did I do it wrong? Is this a two way process? Reason was old imac froze on ios upgrade. cannot access FF. bought new imac. Can I recover with extension to access FF account I saw? Thanks

Thought I should bring it to your attention. My default browser is Firefox and I use Earthlink as my email. Earthlink just informed me that Firefox no longer supports Earthlink. They have asked me to switch to Google Chrome where my email works fine. If you need to contact me , my phone is [phone# removed from public] and my name is Ken Westlund. I wanted to upgrade and update my Firefox to the latest version. Encountered some errors so I uninstalled the old version and reinstalled Firefox' latest version. Now all of a sudden all my Add-ons / Plugins / Extentions on the latest version of Firefox for Mac OS is gone...

Every time Firefox is opened it gives an error message (see image).

I have tried:

• Deleting and reinstalling.
• Deleting Firefox folder in //users/xxxxxxx/Library/Application Support & //Library/Caches then uninstalling Firefox.
• Both above using older Firefox versions.

This issue is happening on all of the Macs in our org. We have no custom configurations. The pkg is installed via FileWave device management. It occurs whether installed through FileWave or manually.

Hi, I am having issues while using my website howtowatchstreaming on Firefox, while it loads perfectly on Chrome and Edge. Despite the media files being perfectly optimized, some of them fail to load even after refreshing the page multiple times. Other websites seem to work fine. Any tips or ideas please.

When I download an attachment from Gmail, I would like to just download it. However, Firefox now opens the attachment in a new tab before I can download it. Is this new? Is there a way to turn this off?

I received an email suggesting that I update my Firefox or I would lose syncing function. I have two computers. A fairly new iMac Ventura 13.6.8 running Firefox 123.0 64 bit which it says is up to date. But I also have an older iMac OSX 10.11.6 El Capiten running Firefox 78.15.0 ESR. I can't update the OS or Firefox on the old computer. So if I do nothing - will I still be able to sync on the newer Mac. I'm not too worried about the old one - I don't use it much for browsing - more for documents. Thank you. David Rimell

At some point, I have lost the ability to use "Command `" to toggle among open pages: those listed as available in the Windows menu.

Has this function been deleted? Can I restore it? Any assistance appreciated.
