Dear colleagues, After getting a new pc, I installed firefox, logged in and could not find any confirmation email on my mailbox, and then account got locked. Please assist

I know that this seems to be an hot topic for questions, but after read some other messages I am confused on hot to proceed. This is my problem:

On a fresh installation of an Operating System on my laptop I tried to enable the firefox synch functions. After inser the password I was waiting for the pin code on my mail to certify my identity. This mail returned (I don't know why) and now my synch functions are locked. I am able to log in with my account: <jonathan.cacace@gmail.com> but I am not able to start synch. How can I solve this issue?

Hello, yesterday I format my PC and re-install all my software, also firefox. I put the credential but my account was locked for security reason. I don't receive any mail (I got a gmail). I read all tutorial to try to resolve the issues. I wait 24hours, but the issues persist. My phone is connected at the same account and work fine but from desktop is locked.

I also try to log-in different browser (firefox and Firefox Nightly) but the issues persist. I also try to log-in in different PC but the issues persist. I also add accounts@firefox.com to my contact but the issues persist.

I tried all the solutions but I couldn't solve the problem, please help me ,thanks

I created a brand new Mozilla account using my email but when I tried to log in I got a message that said my confirmation email was returned and that my account is locked. I never received a confirmation email from Mozilla to verify my account, and my email is valid. Please help me verify/unlock my account.

I cannot access my Firefox account created with 1 of 2 email addresses I use, I'll call this emailA, and do not have Firefox in an Authenticator app nor can I find the recovery code. The account did have a secondary email address listed. I'll call this emailB. EmailB also gets all alerts when there are changes to the EmailA firefox account such as new system logins and password changes.

Given that emailb gets notifications regarding the account is there a way for me to gain access to the account with emailA as the primary address using emailB?

Failing that, is there support who I can contact to have the account under emailA deleted?

First of all, I have to thank you to build the community in your freetime. I've changed my computer. I have 2 firefox accounts, the first for private browsing, the second one for work browsing, and I use them via different Firefox profiles. The configuration of the private account (adam**********y@gmail.com) was succesful. But the configuration of the work account (s****i@orfk.police.hu) was not. I've used this accounts since 2013, and I'd reconfigured them so many times, and there wasn't any problem until now. The actually problem is the unreceived verigfication email. I've tried the actions below: - checking email working -> Perfectly works. - checking spam folder -> There is no any mail in the spam folder. - adding accounts@firefox.com to contact list -> Done. I did not get the verification emails. The administrators probably changed the security settings. I cannot log in, I cannot sync. I tried to send you this letter from my work e-mail, but I did not find any support address, just this option. How can I resolve this problem? Thans for your help.

Im trying to unlock my account, so that i can try syncing

I can't find clearly defined instructions on how to get my locked account unlocked. The email address I used is valid and is the same email address I've used on multiple devices. I have no clue why your email was bounced.

Have Firefox account need to be reconnected and when I did it locked my account saying the email had been returned.

Bought a new M1 Mac. Was very happy when an M1 version of Firefox got released today only to find my account locked out trying to sign-in. I received the infamous message: "The confirmation email we sent to xxx@gmail.com was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data"

That is not true. I am receiving emails just fine and I never lost access to my email account.

Got a new tablet today and was trying to sync my firefox. No emails are being received on any of my gmail accounts and now you have locked my account. Now when I try and do the scan it will not continue on any of my devices and you logged me out of them even on my phone. It freezes on approval now required.

I happened to try turning on Firefox Sync at the exact moment Gmail went down and started sending bounce messages to all senders (my Firefox account name is my gmail address). Now I'm locked out of my account with no way to get back in. Help!

I have a new windows 10 laptop

i just installed firefox

as a try to enable sync i type in my email i type in my password it ask for the PIN sent to email, but i did not get the email ( i checked spam )

i retry to enable sync and i get :

my email is working i did test and its working fine

I am trying to setup my new phone and one of the first thing is to have Firefox Lockwise ready to access paswords.

The problems came when I logged in. I introduced my mail and password without problems and Lockwise said that sent a verification mail that never arrived. After some attempts Lockwise said that my account was locked because the confirmation mail was returned.

I can ensure that mail address is ok. Probably yesterday Google experiences some virus attack and the email service was unavailable.

Having said that, could you please unlock my account?? I really need it.
