The new search setting on the address bar is great especially after you decided to diminish your app by only showing me 2 history in an update a year ago. Now i can just search my history again with more than 2 results. However, i want it defaulted to search my history. Why is Google the default and how can i change it?

Thankfully not too often are web site pages that are grossly out-of-format for my Android phone. Mostly everything is tiny. Yes, I can pinch expand or zoom in but then side back and forth scrolling is required to navigate and absorb the page. Not the optimum result. Very annoying.

I have font adjustments but those result in a similar and distroted page.

One web site option when available was a toggle for windows/cell phone that worked pretty good but it's not always provided. That implies the web site design is the formatting adjustment function.

Is the resultant cell phone display formatting a function of the visited web site, browser, phone device, etc or some combination of those entities settings?

Hello, chromebook user here. I dont know if i count as android or not but still i have a problem. Just today i switched from chrome to firefox, and i realized i cant customize wallpapers! I have searched up every possible tutorial on here and youtube and on firefox itself. Hopings devs can solve this

Hello Mozilla team, provide a way for us to view our downloading file in the app itself and not on the notification bar, for me it doesn't help at all. If not so, then is it really necessary for me to lose my downloading file when I clear the Mozilla app from my recent apps? Isnt it supposed to continue downloading even when the app is cleared? Please solve this.

I have an android tablet, which I use for browsing the internet but firefox always open the websites in mobile pages which is not useful and gives very bad experience

When I try printing a web page by "save as PDF" I don't know how to remove header & footer info. It's not a security issue (yet), but a nuisance. It makes it hard for me to format pages for length if I want to fit things better and reduce paper use.

Where are options for this? Is it controlled by Firefox? Samsung?

Hi, I'm having a he'll of a time trying to figure out what version I should firefox version I should download & where for mobile without using google. The mozilla site keeps redirecting me to use Google version. & Google version won't let me use the YouTube addons to download. Basically I want a version that will use ALL the add-ons instead of the limited amount the mobile firefox offers & use a version like that of a desktop computer. A version that let's you use all add-ons available on desktop computer just the same on a mobile device. My device is a Samsung Note 10 if that helps

I hope there will be an update in which we get bookmarks on the top for ipad. just like on pc. it's definitely possible cause there is enough screen real estate. or make two bars or 3 on ios. I hope this is a feature that will be picked up and implemented one day. I fully switched to Firefox. Cause now it connects every search result to desktop. Also I like that it isn't chromium based

How do I dublicate a tab in the android app as I would in the flatpak/desktop application?

(I do know that I can create a new tab, copy the adress from the old tab, paste it into the adressbar of the new tab and hit enter, but this doesn't keep the "forward/backwards history" as on desktop, and it is really slow.)

Hello, I was told in a review post on google play to post here. I really wish to use firefox as my browser on my phone, but I can't get casting to work. I have a chromecast connected to my TV, but when using firefox on my phone it won't work. The icon isn't even showing. Is it available through an addon or by some other means since Mozilla responded that I should ask here?

These days, I was looking at my desktop computers, and I noticed how old I was. I am 65 years old, my computers are at least 5 years old, and I am a Linux user from the beginning. When the Xwindows system was so heavy for the cpus of those times, that there was no future for a Linux with Windows ... No way, to compete with Microsoft Windows!

But I am young spirited, so I am replacing now my desktop computers, both Linux and Windows with the "AndroidPC" box.

Why? Because nowadays we live with the Apps for every task. There are millions of them, for every possible use, and they are evolving daily. So I have to keep up to date, not easy! And it is also very practical, to use the "TV" also as "PC". And for us, the elder, when the eyesight starts failing, to have a big HDMI screen with big letters to work. I also use the same Apps. in my smartphone ansd tablet.

What is the Android PC? it is the certified (Google Play Store) AndroidTV box, you can get for 50 USD or less, quad core, 4Gb + 64GB. A bargain! I am waiting now that the octa core, 8Gb + 128Gb gets cheaper ....

There are a couple of native Apps for it. Most of the Apps are working, by sideloading them from Google.

Let see how it develops. Anyway, I am happy with the results! I am working on a daily basis with it. Almost all the internet browsers work, I had to take an older Brave version. The Google infrastructure and Google programms work fine. No time for now, to test the Microsoft infrastructure in the AndroidTV enviroment. I can move around my 10TB (5 x 2TB NTFS hdds) movie collection. FTP works. I still have problems, with the Xmeye cloud based software for the security cameras, it is not full screen. And it really uses almost no power, the box is not warm, no fan required!

Comparing with the beginning of Linux, with not enough cpu power. For this "dream", Google requires only to implement slight changes, to their multiple concurrent software platform development. I hope, it will merge alone, the "AndroidPC".

So I would be very thankfull to the programmers, if they could include a native Firefox Browser for the AndroidTV box!

Everything is better in Firefox except the download manager. Most of the time when I try to download any file or video it fails. Please improve your download manager.

Have they ever given us an option to make a tab always open in desktop mode? Yeah, I realize everybody doesn't need it and the average person might not want it but there are enough of us though who do that, it should still be an option, hence the word option.

So if they haven't given us the option, is it possible to make them aware that there should be an option to make tabs open always and desktop mode for those of us who choose to do so? Those of us who are too ignorant to know any better won't be using them in the first place or those who have smart enough to realize that there is the option but chooses not to use it well. Guess what? They'll choose not to use it, but please don't restrict my options because you're trying to cater to those who don't want them. In this case more is better.

I have to use a payroll app for android that logs in on the default browser, mine being Firefox. After logging in on Firefox, I am redirected to the app. The issue is the tab on Firefox doesn't close, so every time I open Firefox it takes me to the payroll app before I can close the tab or even do anything. Restarting my phone seems to fix the issue, but that's unrealistic to have to do that every time I open an app that logs in through the default browser.

I love the way I can customize my Firefox on my Linux desktop. Not so much on my Android phone.

F.ex. I never use the home button, but open new tabs all the time. Would be nice if I could replace the home button with one that opens a new tab
