Firefox won't load google search results. It will load the page of results with the thumbnails etc. but if you click any of them, just a loading spinning icon appears on the tab and it never loads.

I have tried: Both logged in and out of google account, All other areas of google work with no problems (news, shopping etc.), Site working perfectly in Internet Explorer, Running firefox in safemode, Manually disabling all plugins and addons, Clearing the cache and cookies, Opening results in new tab just results in white page with web address but it never loads, Restarting both my PC and router.

It's not been working for at least the past 6 hours. Last time I used it was about a week ago and it was working fine then. I've not noticed any problems on any other sites this week that I can recall.

If you open another tab and try to navigate away from the tab page, or if you open a link in another tab it just refuses to navigate away from the tab page. What is going on here? I mean, it worked perfectly in 11.10, what happened?

when ever I open my page:

I made so many similar pages using Hotpotatoes but neither Internet Explorer neither Chrome shows that warning, only Firefox 17.0

Why? What is it?

I have just recovered my system from the Funmoods virus. In the process, I uninstalled all the Funmoods components and then cleaned my registry with Malwarebytes. However, I can no longer search the web from the address bar in Firefox. I followed the instructions in the Mozilla help section on this (here: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-web-address-bar). My config settings are:

    keyword.URL default string
    keyword.enabled default boolean true

I believe these are the correct settings, but clearly either they are wrong or there are other settings I need to adjust. Can anyone steer me in the right direction on this?

With Firefox 16 (and all previous versions) if I were to right click a direct file link, such as a dropbox mp3, and select "save link as" it would save the mp3 to my computer. Now, however, in Firefox 17 all it does is save the link itself as a several kilobyte html file called "redirect". Other than basic updates of Firefox and all presently installed add-ons, nothing has been changed between when it last worked and now.

Yesterday when I was using firefox 15 to retrieve my emails, I found the header words & some body words in the emails (like subject, date, & some words in the text body) were highlighted. As I moved the cursor to those hi-lite words, spam/virus pop-ups appeared - like you can make $xxx per month, a young girl face with enticing message, etc.

At first, I thought my firefox 15 was corrupted. I upgraded to firefox 17, and the same phenomenon is happening still.

I then had a live chat with earthlink.net tech support last night, thinking it was earthlink problem (see below). He saw the pop-ups on his screen also and suggested that I used IE to access my emails, which did not have those "surprised" pop-ups. Thus, he concluded that the problem is with firefox browser.

Since Mozilla/firefox do not have live chat. I need to resort to send you this email. My question is: Is my firefox browser very corrupted that I need to stop using it, and to delete everything related to mozilla/firefox in drive c?

Thanks much in advance George Ling

Suddenly, Firefox is having a great deal of trouble on pages with ActionScript, particularly the Adobe ActionScript reference website. This is a very common one:

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at ZeroClipboard()

These errors always at least slow the program to a crawl, and usually Firefox just freezes up entirely. I'm using Flash 11.4.402.278 on Windows 7 x64.

Hi there,

I can't seem to like or dislike videos on YouTube in Firefox. I've tried Internet Explorer and it works fine. It's not that the buttons aren't there (which a lot of people seem to have problems with from Googling), it's just when I click on them, they don't say that I've liked/disliked it and doesn't bring up the stats for the video like they normally do. Also, when I look at my 'likes' history, the video I've tried liking doesn't come up, which shows that the 'like' hasn't worked.

Here's a print screen or what it looks like: http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/1753/15480973.png

Microsoft Exchange Website indicates that Firefox is one of the Tier 1 browsers for accessing premium/full version of OWA 2010.

Firefox (v. 16) on my desktop and laptop computers DOES access premium/full version of OWA 2010.

However, both Firefox (v.17 and Beta 18) for Android and tablet DO NOT access premium/full version of OWA. Only light version of OWA is offered. Checkbox for light version cannot be unchecked.

What settings can I change or add-ons can I install to access premium/full version of OWA using Firefox Mobile?

Thanks.

I recently changed to a new computer and I have been having problems with Firefox that I haven't experienced before. Whenever I use Firefox I find myself having to force refresh (Ctrl+F5) a site almost every time. I do this when I see the site that I am at looking weird (like the picture below) like it is ignoring the styles. Can anyone help me fix this?

I have tired running Firefox in safe mode, Chrome renders just find all of the time, and I have cleared the cache and everything multiple times

So after I deleted a bunch of files/applications today (computer was threatening to crash), Firefox started to do a couple weird things. Navigating backward is no longer possible; the back navigation arrow is greyed out. Also, when I start typing a URL, it no longer suggests the rest of it, either in the URL bar itself or in a drop down menu (it used to do both). 16.0.2 is the current version, right? That's the one I kept, I deleted the others. Recently, I got the announcement that Apple isn't supporting my operating system, Mac OS X 10.5.8 anymore, I don't know if that is relevant. How can these things be fixed?

I'm having trouble understanding why h/w acceleration is not supported for my graphics card. I have an 'Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family' internal card. Firefox says 'Blocked for your graphics driver version' under troubleshooting information. I'm running Firefox 18 beta under Win8x64. So, here's the trouble. When i was running Windows7x64, h/w acceleration was available only under chrome & that was limited too. I never really complained because i understood my card was about 5 years old. When i moved to Windows8, i was planning on getting a new graphics card, but to my surprise Intel had released new drivers for this version of windows & suddenly i was getting full acceleration under IE & Chrome & Adobe flash is also playing h/w accelerated videos. It would be helpful if someone could tell me why only Firefox seems to have a problem.
