Hello, I was wondering if anyone has noticed that it takes super long for Thunderbird really long to open? and it is very slow to load an email the slows my whole computer down? This has been happening the last 2 days and am wondering if there is an issue with the newest update?

When I try to log in to tradestation.com, I get a 403 Forbidden message. I have gone to Settings - Clear all History, and checked all the History and Data boxes, and clicked OK. Also, I only use Private browsing, which is set to remove all history, caches, etc. whenever I close Firefox. I have been logging in to tradestation 4 or 5 days a week for months, until today. Please help fix this.

On some webpage, I experience delay response when I trying to search sometime. For example, in Google homepage after typing something or even gibberish the page froze and not responding for about 10 second but the browser is still functioning (meaning I can still move other tabs or open option). Once that 10s delay is over, it responded with my result. And something when I when to search back something again(not in the homepage), more of the time is response back fast like 0.2s but other time the same 10s delay. This problem also happens in some other website but not all in their search bar. I have try in safe mode. disable all my extension, reinstall Mozilla Firefox, check any windows update and such. Also other browser does not have this problem such as chrome and brave. If this problem still persisting then I would such to other browser but prefer not to as I quite fond of Firefox. How do I correct my serious error (when tired) in allowing a Thunderbird 'Upgrade' 115.2.2 (32 Bit) Supernova to install on my Laptop (Windows 10 Home, 64 Bit). I failed to read the Release Notes by trusting Mozilla wouldn't issue such a drastic change without Warnings as it was not just an 'Upgrade'! It has screwed up my Set up, Folders etc., completely changed layout, can't find 'Write Message' tab etc. etc . etc.

The previous Thunderbird Version had many problems further introduced by 'Upgrades' but was at least still had continuity with earlier Versions with a functional MMI (man machine interface) instead of all the changes introduced with the 115.2.2, which in my opinion should be withdrawn completely. N.B My experience in Systems Control, as an Air Traffic Control Engineer, we would throw this out as not fit for purpose.

Sometimes, when I click an embedded/hyper link within Firefox, say I tried clicking a link provided after I google searched something, the tab itself would hang for 10 seconds before it would begin loading the site. When I say "hang", I mean that the entire tab becomes unresponsive to my clicks, I can't refresh the page, I couldn't change the address bar to a different link (it would allow me to manipulate the address bar, but the browser wouldn't reflect on that change, instead just going to the link I had clicked before the hang after the 10 second delay) and my mouse just stays as one sprite/disappears all together (when on the tab).

I find that this isn't a full browser issue as I can easily just start another tab and try there, but this issue is prevalent in that it randomly hangs any one tab I'm using for 10 seconds, and it's not just with Google.

I've identified that it isn't an extension issue or a different tab being used (tested in troubleshoot mode), nor an accessibility issue (as far as I know). I've disabled both my firewall and antivirus temporarily and it still occurred.

It's gotten in the way of a lot of work and I haven't been able to find anything regarding this exact problem on the support site. I've been dealing with it since my first installation of firefox (a few months ago).

Hey, since 2 months firefox started crashing when a video comes to the end. I tried it in troubleshoot mode skipped to min 10:45/10:50 and played. after this 5 sec it just crashed. I noticed it on youtube but tried it on other players and it also happened. Today I also started a video on a other website and it crashed but not when starting youtube videos.

I just noticed that if I check the SENT folder, some of the emails I sent have this text in the body part.

"This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

[HERE THE CONTENT OF THE EMAIL I SENT]"

I'm wondering if they are sent like that, what the receiver will see and if there is a way to prevent it.

The email account is using IMAP and as far as I know it happen just to that specific email account. The emails are sent using Thunderbird. I'm using the latest version of Windows on a laptop. I'm using the following Thunderbird extensions (latest versions): - Compact Headers - Send Later - Mailmindr - Quicktext

My Thunderbird auto updated this afternoon to 115.3.1 . Now I am only seeing message headers. The body of the messages has disappeared. I'm not seeing anything on the bottom half of the screen, not even the message tool bar where you can delete, reply, etc..

Strangely -- the very same thing happened to me six months back with a secondary account, but my primary account was unaffected. So I was using the email interface with one email address (same domain name) which worked fine, while the secondary one only showed headers, and not the actual messages.

NOW-- after this download, the secondary email address account is showing both the headers and the messages, while my primary account is only showing the headers.

PLEASE HELP. Posted here six months ago for the previous time but never got any solution to the problem then. Just lived with it, as it was a secondary email address, but I will have to leave Thunderbird if I can't get the primary address showing actual messages soon.

Beginning with 111 when I start I get 'glxtest: failed to read data from glxtest, we may fall back to software rendering.' It works. I don't know that anything bad is happening.

After a recent reinstall Firefox seems to have a problem. This seems to be only Firefox specific and I can't find a working solution online after googling.

Youtube videos work, although they do give errors sometimes. A refresh always fixes those. However Twitch/Youtube live streams do not, and display a generic error message. When trying other browsers the live streams work fine.

And old Bugzilla post (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1467495) describes what I believe to be a possible reason for the problem, however following the solutions in that thread have not yet lead to a solution.

Any further insight or solutions would be appreciated.

There is one particular website which is a necessary site for me. It is "realestate.com.au". To date, this is the only website displaying these quirks, however there could easily be more which I have not yet tripped over. The home page will open, but trying to open anything under it (account, login, search etc.) results in a plain white page with no data. I can operate the site normally on Chrome or Safari so it is clearly something in Firefox settings. I have tried to install a back version (107) to check that the latest uplift didn't introduce any undesirable attributes. I cannot see any settings which may be causing this so any hints or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I tried recently to download some files that I had stored online on some cloud storage sites. One of them was over 4 GB in size, and the download would not complete. I tried a couple of times on that file, and every time the download failed just before the 4 GB total appeared in the download notice section. I checked online to see if others were having the same problem, and I found a few who were, but there was no solution posted. Is this a specific feature of Firefox, and is there anyway to increase the file size limit in your browser registry?

When I try to watch video on YouTube or other places. I encounter green line and reverse picture. I have reinstall Firefox but it still persist. Can someone please help me understand how to fix it. As the video bug only happens in firefox. When trying to launch firefox like normal I got a "Your profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible" which would keep it from starting. Periodically, with firefox not even running in the background, I would get the XULRunner error (see attached image).

Looking online for solutions I took two steps: 1. located my profiles folder and deleted it 2. reinstalled firefox entirely

As you can see by the attached image the same error messages as before would actually interrupt the install itself.

I am at a loss and any help would be appreciated since Chrome sucks and I'd like to keep using Firefox.

I made the mistake up upgrading to the most recent version of Thunderbird last week and I DO NOT LIKE IT! Everything is too compressed, which makes it hard to read. How do I revert back to the previous version?

My more immediate problem, however, is this:

Tonight I started getting messages that I was out of room in a few specific folders, so I began reorganizing my e-mails, putting them in sub-folders or into my archives. Suddenly my Thunderbird crashed, and when I reloaded it, that entire folder with dozens of sub-folders and literally thousands of very critical e-mails has vanished! I need to get them back immediately!

I wanted to export a address ldif file. When exported, the ldif file was not included in the compressed backup. I imported an ldif file and added a few addresses. The question under KDE Neon is how do I extract the contact list? Not included in zip file. Hungarian Thunderbird 115 Supernova

As described in this thread (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1431159#answer-1618832), I had a problem accessing one particular domain after doing everything I could find to fix it. Setting DNS to Increased Protection fixed it. It's partly just curiosity but also concern that I'm asking if there is an issue that should be addressed.

The basic scenario: could not access one particular domain only in FF on one computer. No problems with FF on other devices and no problem with other browsers on the computer in question. Configuring DNS settings to Increased Protection is the only thing that allowed me to access that site (which happens to be the org I work for). So the setting is only necessary on this device and only for that domain.

What's the explanation or solution for ensuring I don't have other DNS issues, or something else, that will be a problem later?

I added a screenshot of youtube having flickering while video is being played, it is a bit hard to see but there is a slightly brighter stripe on the grey background and picture cant depict flickering; it starts immediately after video is started and stops after 3-4 sec after video is paused, like there is some background activity behind youtube foreground. I understand my comp is weak (Intel Iris Graphics 550 1536 MB 8 GB, 2133 MHz LPDDR3), but not that much, please help
