My keyboard and computer are fine. Every website I visit in Firefox works great...except news chat rooms. If I make a comment on a news site (e.g., foxnews.com) I can type the first word with no problem. I hit the space bar and it spaces correctly. However, when I type the first letter of the second word, the letter appears BUT IT BACKSPACES AND ELIMINATES THE SPACE. If I want to type "That is not..." I get "Thatisnot..." (When I enter the i and n, it backspaced.) As you can see from this post, it's not my keyboard. I can post my thoughts in Word and paste the entry onto the news site just fine.

It's related to Firefox, because if I switch over to that god-awful Edge, it doesn't happen. Any ideas?

In the last few versions of Firefox the "Always ask you where to save files" does not work properly. Sometimes it asks, sometimes it automatically downloads. The majority of items I download are in PDF. Some I am asked & put on desktop to move later while some are automatically sent to Downloads folder. In Help, it says to go to Settings > General > Applications to get this to happen but under PDF I have it set to "Always ask". And Firefox is not doing this. Will this be fixed in future versions? There seem to be a lot of people that have this problem, which is basically creating work. I understand it only takes seconds to get them but over the course of time it's not efficient. I've been using Firefox for years & do not always agree with some of the changes but this one is really frustrating because it is not consistent. I only want to be able to have the where to/save as box show up when I attempt to download a PDF. Any other or real suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, JF

The "ask where to save downloads" option does not work. It always downloads to the default folder. When you check the AWTSD box, it DOES NOT grey-out the "save to" folder destination. So I'm not sure where the error is. Is it because the "save to" folder is not greyed-out that it saves to that folder, or is it because the check box for "ask where to save downloads" doesn't actually enable the "save to" pop-up window? Thank you in advance for any and all assistance with this!

Firefox consistantly crashes on

• page load
• interacting with a page before it fully loads
• dynamic pages adding content on scroll

I downloaded Firefox; I had problems with my computer and erroneously thought it might be the browser, so I deleted Firefox. Now i re-downloaded Firefox. How can I get my bookmarks menu back to the latest download? Thanks you for any help!!

Just received note from my Internet Provider regarding the need to update/check e-mail account settings and not being a computer expert but following their guidance, my present Firefox settings are set to: Connection settings/Configure Proxy Access to the Internet/Use system proxy settings is selected, is this the correct setting? and why is it so difficult in trying to contact Firefox (or is it Mozilla?) what's wrong with giving a simple phone contact number?

I don't particularly do 'Community' contacts or Twitter or any other of these such sites where you invariably go round in circles/- I want a technical/technician (personal contact) answers!

When I log onto www.melaleuca.com I can navigate through all the products but I CANNOT see the product description! I won't order anything unless I can see the label ingredients, quantity, etc. When I double click on the product, all that happens is a blue border appears around the item and that is all. Can you fix this? I've added melaleuca to the add-ons list, but that did not help.

I seem to have no control over what shortcuts appear on my opening tap page. Some sites are appearing there I have not accessed or have no account with. I am not sure how these merchants are accessing FF. I refreshed and also tried a few things I've found here and no luck. How do I remove shortcuts I do not want and stop sites from adding shortcuts?

I've tried several fixes to get PayPal to load through Firefox but none are permanent. PayPal will not load through FF consistently and it is causing me to use another browser which is more convenient. How do I load PP through FF?

I have attempted to restore my bookmarks from the Manage Bookmarks tab using Restore and selecting the available option (only 1 available), but it fails to restore my bookmarks. I lost history and passwords as well. I am running Firefox 104.0.2 on a 2015 Apple Macbook Pro. This is also the case on my 2018 Apple Macbook Pro as well.

 Also cannot restore from Old Firefox Data that is on my Desktop.

 I rarely use the 2018 Macbook, so this must be due to a software update of some sort since it is effecting both machines.

I've had msn.com as my home page but now it will not load, it WILL load from Firefox on the desktop but not my laptop. I can get it to load using Chrome but not using Firefox Browser. All I see is the spinning Butterfly Logo. I've had msn.com as my home page forever but now it will not load, I've cleared my cache but no help.

I do not know how I did it, but I managed to remove my bookmarks from the my tool bar and tried every answer I could find in the support topics. I use the bookmarks constantly and I need some help... I am lost.
