Hallo, vor einiger Zeit habe ich mein Thunderbird E-Mailkonto gelöscht und möchte es wiederhrstellen und mit anderen E-Mail konto verknüpfen; doch da es eine andere Person installierte, weiß ich persönlich nicht wie das wieder hergestellt werden kann und die Posteingang und -Ausgangsnummer angezeigt werden Gibt es ein e Möglichkeit, dass mir jemand hilft oder das damalige Kennwort herauszufinden, denn die automatische Installation wurde nicht erstellt. We have not been blacklisted at Spamhaus.com. Yet, Thunderbird ONLY is blocking of email sent via its SMTP. IP being blocked according to Spamhaus is 162.xxx.xxx.xxx But Spamhaus shows that neither this IP nor my email, [edited] @wrigleyranch.com is being blocked or blacklisted. We are able to send email thru our email client at BlueHost. So, it is definite that we are NOT BLACKLISTED. The last update (automatic) by Thunderbird was January 14, 2026. I'm am suspecting that this update has caused this error. That's why I'm writing you. Can I revert to the prior Thunderbird update to test this theory? I cannot see how to do that. I need help!!! Receiving email is unaffected by this malfunction.

Hello, Sometimes, when I select multiple emails to be deleted, the system only deletes one, and I have to manually delete each remaining message. I have emptied trash, but that doesn't solve the problem. rebooting the computer fixes the problem some times.

FYI - the messages go from displaying in bold to displaying as read messages; but them are still displayed. This is a major pain in the butt!!! What is the solution to fix this. I am using a Lenovo ThinkCenter desktop computer, running Windows 7

I have received a new strong computer and I have now different kinds of problems. When above mentioned e-mail program was installed, my maps on left side are not in alphabetical order as it used to be. Unfortunately the installer man has not been able to sort that out. I have tried to make a new folder and it never shows up. I then tried to create a sub folder and it never showed up. I don't know how to fix this problem. I started Thunderbird in troubleshooting mode and still could not fix the problem

Please define folders: Sent, Sent Mail, All Mail: hesitant to delete any in these folders.

Deleting messages to Trash seems to NOT remove from All Mail. Currently have nearly 3,000 in All Mail. How to manage All Mail?

On my Thunderbird emails, the Attach option and the SEND button have disappeared. At the top of the window it says Write with a pen icon. Then there is the From; To; Subject boxes. Then there is the text toolbar from the Font across to the emoji icon.

There is nothing else! How do I get the Attach and Send buttons back?

Hi, Please, with thunderbird for Android on my Samsung s21, i would like to unify all my emails on a unic inbox Windows. I have allready check the unify fonction in the "parameters". But i don't have any result. On the my computer, everything is ok. But i don't succeed on my phone... I hope you are understanding my question cause my english is horrible. Thank's in advance. Best

Starting 2026 Comcast is moving all email over to Yahoo email. We will be able to keep our Comcast email address, but as of this writing I do not know what suffix Yahoo will add to my 2 accounts. Both of my Comcast suffixes are Comcast.net and that is how my email comes through now. I was shared a linked that I didn't from Comcast about the pending change. Will the suffix change from Comcast.net? I have attached the link that was shared with me.

I guess with your Comcast e-mail, you need to know this. Comcast e-mail is going away and users are being switched over to Yahoo e-mail sometime in 2026.

My TBird inbox says I have an unread message count of 1. This also shows in the W11 task bar with a badge of 1.

When I go to the Inbox and filter on unread emails, it says there are none. (See attached.)

How can I find the unread email, or make the badge go away? Or maybe, does the badge have another meaning?

I restarted TBird and that didn't clear the badge.

First, thank you for being here. I am old, 77, and am not the best computer genius. I have no 16 year-old kids to call and fix grandpas computer. This morning, my Thunderbird had only two messages in the inbox, but checking my phone, there were the typical 25-30. Thunderbird had a pop up saying SMTP did not recognize my password, so I re-entered it and no change, still says not recognized. (Checked to make sure of password - was using correct one). Being half-smart, I decided to delete the email account and reinstall it. I did, and it works with all the emails from my phone showing up. Unfortunately, all the historical emails (saved for years in inbox folders) are gone along with the folders. These were things like reservation confirmations, receipts, instructions on how to reset something... Are these now gone forever or are they recoverable? I cannot remember if I ever set up a backup system for Thunderbird. When I first started using, I was able to import all the folders and stored emails from Outlook. Any advice or instructions would be appreciated.
