Instructions to solve this problem date to 2018 and say it can be done on the Get Info dialogue box of the application, but it can't. I don't want to reinstall. Any other ideas?

As Firefox was working slowly, I used restore option as describe. But I didn't make a backup of my personnal toolbar with all my favorites... How can i restore it?

Hey there, I have got local folder where is file Inbox (3.8gb) and Sent (5.1gb), but when I assign the path to this exact folder, I'm able to see only messages from last few weeks. Is there some kind of solution?

I used to use Mozilla as my email look up browser of choice. However recently my account did not want to it kept telling the password was wrong. The help suggested I delete and reload the account. Now I am entering the same details as the google other google accounts, but this one does not want to load up. It brings up the following message:

"Unable to log in at server, Probably wrong configuration, username or password"

I have checked all the details on the gmail account settings and they appear to be the same. Can anyone help me resolve this.

Hi, over the years I have created many filter rules for messages and I was looking for a way that I could save or export these so I can inport them back in after a reinstall or on my other computers. I have seen an article about copying the thunderbird folder but I am not 100% sure if the filter rules are copied as well but I think they are, which is great for a brand new install, but I was looking for a way to just export and import the rules rather than the whole profile, and then I can back these up from time to time. If there is an way to export just the rules is there an automated way to back these up from within thunderbird? Thanks Ian

We have a POP3 account that was registered in Outlook and would like to access the POP3 emails on all devices that we have using Thunderbird. I figured that it's not possible to do that since POP3 doesn't work that way and this is only possible if you're using IMAP.

Since it's important for us to access the old POP3 emails on all of our devices, these are my questions:

1. Is there a way to convert POP3 account to IMAP in Thunderbird and automatically see those old POP3 emails in a newly created IMAP account?

2. If not, how can we access the old POP3 emails in a newly created IMAP account? Note that the IMAP account that we'd like to use is the same email address we have on our POP3 account.

3. Would we be able to see the folders, filters, sent, trash, etc. once we convert the POP3 account into IMAP using Thunderbird? If not, is there a way to see all of them on all of our devices in Thunderbird?

I'd appreciate anyone's answers to these questions.
