when the change occurs on Nov1 from firefox to Mozilla do I need to sign in using my current password or will mozilla already know that and I can just access my email and other things by hitting the mozilla icon I do not know if I remember my firefox email password

I used to be able to access my email with previous versions of Firefox but cannot anymore. When I attempt to sign in it just goes back to sign in page. I have to use another browser to access my email. Is it possible to go back to a previous version of firefox?

When I export the data I get three date/time fields with numbers in exponential notation that will not covert to a date in MS Excel, e.g., "1.50931E+12" What am I doing wrong?

Firefox is not allowing me to use my prefered font for websites that I visit. This seems to have happend with a update to the browser as I never had a problem before. I do everything that is explained in the HELP section, but still fonts are choosen by the website. I do have "let websites choose their own font" unchecked. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Attached is a picture I took of what I'm experiencing. At first I thought it was an issue with my monitor or perhaps my computer hardware, but it seems to only affect Firefox. Besides the obvious black squares you can see, I invite you to look at the top of the page displayed. Where it talks about Megan thee stallion, the "a" and "n" of "Megan" are kind of cut off by something.

I also experienced twice, maybe three times the whole page going blank for a second or so before returning to normal (not my whole screen, just the firefox browser). I just checked and Firefox is up to date.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I also checked Windows Defender and saw it had detected a threat, named Win32/OfferCore. I have since deleted it and have started a complete analysis of my computer which is still underway.

My OS is Windows 10. I hope this can be resolved, as currently it is stopping me from being able to read an article on Wikipedia, with many of the letters being kind of cut in the same fashion as with "Megan".

I can log into the RYA site, I then want to access a specific part of their site (Cerificate Administration), I click on CAdmin but nothing happens. I have contacted the RYA who have acknowledge a problem exists and sent me a message, which is below, unfortunetly I do not undestand what they want me to do on Firefox - do you understand? Can you help please?.

it seems to me that there are quite a few questions in the forum about the backgound update process. It has bugged me for a long time that my Firefox would every now and then just refuse to open a new page and force me to restart.

Only now did I learn that this changes when de-selecting the (recommended) "automatically install updates" option. The wording used does not make clear that automatically installing updates sometimes renders Firefox inoperable until a restart. I would love to see at least a "learn more" link there? I chose "automatically" but then was cursing every time Firefox refused to open a new page in the middle of my work. Then I failed to connect this to the choice I had made weeks or months back.

install and migration/Update Firefox to the latest release https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-release suggests that on Windows there is a way to have automatic updates without forcing a restart in the middle of the workflow? I assume this is through some little helper process, which perhaps is not popular on MacOS.

But: would it not be possible to at least point to these options from the message that says that Firefox needs to restart so people know they have a choice? Even better would be to have a "not now" button but I realize there might be technical reasons why we cannot have that.

I have noticed quite a few websites that will not load on Mozilla but will load on other Browsers. Even turning off enhanced tracking protection doesn't always help. Some of these sites use to load without any issues. The last one finally loaded after I turned of cookie protection completely. I can't access my account anymore, this one was created by linking the mail address used for the account which apparently i never did. I tried every password i commonly used and none of them worked, so I think that this one was auto-generated and then saved, in my firefox account... What is really killing me is the 7 years of bookmarks and password that are locked behind this password, i can access the account by password recovery but that would defeat the purpose since I just learned that its linked to my data. I just changed my OS back to windows so file recuperation is gonna be a pain/impossible. The way i understand things i have to make my peace with all the websites I accumulated for years (and also the PWs) or wait and don't touch my PC because the firefox folder that was deleted was on the same HDD that i used for the new OS. Of course all of this wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have had a problem to my phone and send it back to the constructor for the warranty, which means if I'm not mistaken that my account just lost it's last link to me, except the auto-destruction button. Is starting to learn cryptography my best bet to reach my account ? Or is there something I didn't cover and there still a way ? Please tell me it's still possible.

I am hopeful you will be able to help me. All open tabs NOW disappear after power failure or Comcast temporarily loses service or I restart my computer. This never happened to me before ~ if my computer was affected by outage or I manually restarted it a message came up to click on asking if I wanted my tabs restored. 1 click and they were restored ~ that option is not available to me now. It's frustrating and time consuming for me to "look" for, and "try" to find those tabs I had open. If someone does respond to my question I won't know its been done unless I receive an email because I'm not certain I can find my way back to this support page, primarily because I cannot remember HOW I even found this page in the first place! When I opened Firefox, the message below popped up for a few seconds, then disappeared: CAD 3.8.2 - Some site data, including 1 Cookie(s), removed from 1 domains(s), including addons.mozilla.org...

Can anyone explain this, and should I be worried (CAD is a Python term used in uploading code). Thank you.
