Links are not syncing between Firefox on iOS and Firefox on desktop. I synced both the devices up but the links are very outdated from months ago and I can’t send links between the devices anymore. Both applications are up to date.

In recent months FF on my iPhone 13 will occasionally crash and I’d get the error that let me restore my tabs. This morning (July 1, 2023) I woke, clicked on a link from a trusted email, FF launched and I found all my tabs were gone. They were not in the history. This exact same thing happened almost exactly a year ago. I learned my lesson then and have had sync turned on ever since. Well, nothing there except the tabs on my computer.

I can’t find any information on how I might be able to restore these on iPhone, only on a computer. Is there anything I can do to recover these?!

Hello. I am trying To follow the steps to sync my phone and computer. In the directions, it says to go to my Firefox account settings end tap sync and save your data. However, I cannot find the sync and save your data button anywhere. Where is it located, please? I'm on a Samsung s23 Thanks!

How do I know what has been synced with my email account? I what to do is to edit the stuff/info that I don’t want to have synced, because it might have been an accidental website link input I made or even delete it altogether too.

I don't know why, I can not contact Mozilla support directly and privately?

Hi folks, I'm having a weird issue with syncing/sending tabs.

Desktop > Laptop and Laptop > Desktop are 100% fine for sending tabs between the pair.

Android Phone > Desktop is perfectly fine.

Desktop > Android Phone just doesn't send the tabs to the device.

I've signed out both at FF 4 android and the devices list then signed back in, re-synced the desktop and mobile and checked they could see each other again and there is no change. It used to work fine. It's handy when say going to the hardware store to drop the tab from the laptop or desktop to the phone to know where I'm looking when I get there but lately I've had to put a link into OneNote instead which is less than desirable.

So I'm hoping someone might have a cause and fix.

Hi, I' ve got problem to transfer passwords which i have on desktop Firefox browse to one on my mobile. On desktop i use Ubuntu 20.04, as mobile i use Samsung A53 5G with Android 13. I used button synchronize now on my browser, i reinstalled both firefoxes (on desktop & mobile). But nothing works. Thanks.

I'm running the latest versions of firefox on both my pc and android mobile. Both are connected to the same firefox account and both appear to sync fine, however it appears to only work in one direction. My bookmarks and PC logins and passwords all sync to the mobile, however whilst it will send mobile bookmarks to my pc it does not appear to update the logins and passwords from my mobile back to my pc.

Its all set up fine (i've no master password), my phone shows up in connected devices, and it says its syncing, but it just isn't sending the logins/passwords back to my pc firefox for some reason.

Any suggestions?

Hey, I need to move bookmarks and passwords from an old Android phone (A10, FF116.0) to a new Android device (A13, FF116.2.0). This transfer didn't work during Android setup on the new one.

Trying to sync via Firefox Sync made the new device download the data from the Desktop PC instead of the old device. This is no help because the Desktop hat thousands of bookmarks and too many passwords that are not meant for Android device. I need to copy the set of data from the old device.

The synced bookmarks and passwords cannot be deleted from the new Android device. (Or one by one only, which means "not" for thousands.)

1. How to delete all bookmarks and passwords from the new device?

2. Is there a way to sync only the data from the old Android device to the new one, ignoring the Desktop?

Firefox on iOS devices is not syncing to Firefox on desktop. I’ve different home screen on my iOS devices than on my desktop and all my tabs are different. I did all the syncing procedures with the QR code multiple times and still nothing synced.

I trying to sync my bookmarks on desktop and mobile to be the same but they do not match up. I have update the sync on both devices but does not work. How long does it take to update?

Like mins.kim's identical question on 2/11/22 that was never solved, I would like to open all my synched tabs at the same time on my android phone. How do I do this?

I wanted to remove all of my passwords from firefox, therefore I deleted all of them through the firefox desktop version on linux mint.

On my phone even after syncing, the passwords persist. I cannot get rid of them on firefox mobile, so I thought its a bug, deleted appdata and uninstalled firefox. Reinstalled firefox and logged in my firefox account again only to see that after syncing all passwords appear again.

I really want my passwords deleted and I dont know how to delete them anymore since on firefox android I would have to delete one by one. I want them to not resync ( I dont even know from where since no passwords show on the desktop version anymore)

I want to say: Syncing of logins is on on BOTH firefox browsers. I made sure of that.

Neither using the QR code option or the email option work. Both result in a white screen.

By using the iPhone's camera to scan the QR code (instead of using Firefox) I can see that the QR code is point to https://mzl.la/MYCODE. This URL in turn is redirecting to https://app.adjust.com/somecode?campaign=firefox-desktop&adgroup=firefoxview&creative=CODE-123. Opening this URL in Safari gives me a white page with a "Download App" button to download Firefox (which I already have installed).

My Firefox account has the setting "Allow ⁨Firefox Accounts⁩ to send technical and interaction data to ⁨Mozilla⁩." set to off. So probably none of this tracking should occur.

In any case, I went to Firefox settings and turned on "Allow Cross-Website Tracking". I also went to Safari settings and turned off "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking", "Privacy Preserving Ad Measurement" and turned "Content Blockers".

Then I tried syncing again. The result was the same white page as before.

I'm on Firefox Nightly 105.0a1. Recently, the synced tab is empty (see picture). However, my device still manage to sync, and can still send tabs to other devices. Also, my device tabs can still be seen by other device. Is this a bug? I have tried relogin but no luck.

Btw, the second picture is EOL firefox. I know it but it's still operational.

Error message: "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within a Firefox app." No, I did not use system camera. Yes, I did activate it from the firefox app/scan button - REPEATEDLY. Somehow, firefox does not recognize it's own activation of my system camera. Please help, I need the bookmarks off my phone and onto laptop. Thank you.
