iOS Firefox needs to maintain bookmarks hierarchy state (i.e. keep bookmark folders collapsed or revealed based upon users’ preference) when organizing bookmarks. Like many other Firefox users, I have a lot of organized bookmarks. And, when iOS Firefox opens my complete bookmark hierarchy, it’s a pain in the butt to locate folders in which I want a new bookmark to be placed. If iOS Firefox could maintain my bookmark hierarchy state (like Firefox desktop), I could organize bookmarks so much more easily & efficiently. Incidentally, I submitted this idea several years ago and never received any feedback or action.

I'm using Linux (openSuSE 15.6, latest updates). The system has multiple monitors and for daily work I've two instances of FF running - on every monitor a different one.

After login both instances will be started simultaneously and try to access the bookmarks configuration. This simultaneous access seems to prevent the bookmarks configuration to be loaded. Instead, FF informs that bookmarks shall be loaded from some place.

This behavior should be corrected.

your recent upgrade removed my side panel search bookmarks except those that have icons ( icons only)! No description of icon. Those that don't have icons have links but can't read with out hovering for seconds. Impossible to find links quickly!

My bookmark features has stopped working. When I click the star, it does not turn blue and I cannot bookmark anything. Is there a fix? I have stuff in the bookmark area and would not like to loose it.

my windows 10 PC was saving my bookmarks perfectly and storing in bookmarks after pressing the "save" star (star turns black) until dec 4 but its no longer putting them in the bookmarks menu anymore even though star turned black? then also after numerous attempts to no avail a "edit" pop up came up and after pressing that it did not even come up with the drop down "save" option just a big nothing. The carefully organized order of my Firefox bookmarks on my PC is completely ruined by the stupid alphabetical sorting of bookmarks on the Firefox app on my Androïd smartphone. And that is all the more frustrating than the icon pictures of the links are replaced by a mere letter which doesn't enable to recognise the website's icon visually. In my ASTROLOGY folder of my Firefox bookmarks which includes about 100 links, it is a real pain in the neck to find the links to my favorite websites whose precise names I don't necessarily remember (Astrology websites often have similar names) among in such an extensive list of bookmarks, instead of finding my favourit and most usual bookmarks at the very beginning of the list in the folder.

Hello. I'm having trouble with bookmark icons in my browser. Sometimes the icons show up, but sometimes only the globe appears. I've tried everything, including installing the "Bookmark Icon Loader" and "Bookmark Tab Icon Changer" add-ons, but it didn't help. Is there a way I can change them manually in the browser itself without any add-ons?

Hello. I would like to manage the signets or my bookmarks on my mobile version (Android) on my smartphone. it's impossible to save any signet on the bookmarks. Impossible to reach the modifying, changing location of a signet, in the bookmarks. Any suggestion ? I thank you for your answer.

I hover over bookmark folder, they expand, and the links the folder contains work. (Or) now 80 percent of the time, I hover over the bookmark folder, they don't expand, so I click on the folder to expand it, and 90 percent of the time, the links in the folder do nothing when clicked on. They won't even get highlighted, (selected) I restart firefox, and all works again, for about 10 seconds, and problem occurs again. It goes without saying it gets real frustrating restarting firefox over and over and over again to use another bookmark. I've never experienced this before. This only happens for me on firefox for Linux Mint 22.1. Firefox on windows 11 does not exhibit this problem. Please help, thanks. Cheers...

I am trying to organise my Firefox bookmarks into folders on my Mac Studio. However, when I try to use the highly-touted "just drag and drop advice" it does not work. It doesn't work in the drop down and it doesn't work in the bookmarks manager. Drag and drop functionality works elsewhere on my Mac just fine.

Note, if I open every single bookmark, click on the blue star, then re-assign the folder it does work. However, that it a mighty pain in the arse.

Since I know it will be asked...'yes' both Firefox and my MacOS are up-to-date. And 'no' I haven't upgraded to Tahoe.

I would appreciate any help that anyone can offer. Thanks!

Just bought my new Acer Lap Top Downloaded Firefox on it. Trying to bookmark some of my sites. It first let me bookmark them. Now they have all disappeared and it will no longer let me bookmark anything. Can anyone please help me?

All these years, when I bookmark a page, that bookmark used to, then, be at the bottom of bookmarks. I assume that means the bookmarks were sorted by the date they were bookmarked. Lately, that is completely gone. When I bookmark a page, who knows WHERE it sits in that long bookmark list?!? It's THERE if I search on it but it used to be so handy... it was right there at the bottom of the bookmark 'manage' page!! Am I missing a date tag or something??? SO annoying. Thanks.

I use Firefox on 3 devices, a Win10 64bit laptop, a Google Pixel5 and a Samsung TabA. I have a lot of bookmarks and a lot of folders, and I have 2 problems: Most of the folders are missing on the Android devices, and it seems that many if not all of the associated bookmarks are there but not in any folder. I clicked on one the bookmarks and it showed as being in the proper folder.

The other problem is that if I bookmark a page in one of the Android devices it is automatically placed in the last folder used and there's no way to place it in any other folder or create a new top level folder. I think I've had these problems for five or six months.

I've tried multiple resyncs on all the devices, and also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox on the Pixel, with no luck. I'm using the latest versions of Firefox.

Any help would be much appreciated.
