When I try to start Thunderbird on my Windows 11 laptop it does not start properly It is haging ond after a whike i get a message that thunderbird does not respond ("svarar inte" in swedish). Sometimes if I try to reinstall Thunderbird it starts up, But today nothing happens.

when browsing and using a link to an external page, after reading information in that page andvtraying to go back, sometimes wont go back at the same pasition where i wad before, instead it goes up at some other position.

Every 10 minutes, your Thunderbird app generates an attachment (nmsa) that McAfee deems a Trojan and quarantines it. I get 15-20 popups from mcafee every hour. If I close Thunderbird it stops. What can i do to stop this from happening?

I have two windows PCs, both running Firefox 154.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Pro. One PC has the Daily Crossword widget, the other doesn't? When I go into Manage Widgets, the Daily Crossword option is present on the first PC, but not the other? It's possible that I may have hidden the Daily Crossword widget on the second PC, but if so, how do I unhide it? The PC without the widget is connected directly via a LAN cable to my router, while the other PC is connected to the same router via a Google WiFi mesh.

I am totally blind and have the most current version of JAWS, Windows 11 Pro, and Thunderbird installed on my HP desktop. Somehow, I'm no longer able to navigate between accounts on this computer. (I'm currently using another computer to send this message). On my other system, JAWS reads/speaks everything, whether I'm in Word, Edge, or Chrome. In Thunderbird, I get a "forms open" sound, and the speech says, "about". When I hit the Escape key, I'm out of "forms mode," and the screen seems to be blank. I can't seem to tab anywhere or get into any of the accounts to read my email. How do I fix this? I don't want to hve to uninstall Thumderbird and risk losing all my emails. Updated Firefox to 154. When I select Firefox, I get a notice that Firefox is already running. If I cancel, Firefox comes up but I quickly get a notice that Firefox is not responding. I tried refresh but that didn't fix it. If you don't have an answer, I'll de-install and then (maybe) reinstall. -JJM

            I've implemented passkey (webauthn). All browsers working fine along with firefox for regular passkey But we implemented ROR (well-known/webauthn) for cross domain using rpid (https://web.dev/articles/webauthn-related-origin-requests). Only this is failing for cross domain passkey in firefox where other browsers working good. I am using firefox version 140.14.0. I know its bit old but just asking does it support? We've some limitation so not able to test latest version of firefox. I am getting below error in console

"A resource is blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking."

Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

I run normal firefox on linux. Fully up-to-date. Every time I quit the app, it reverts to a version of my profile from a month ago, and loads all the tabs I had open then, and then receives all the tabs that I sent to the device in the interim (~1 month). As I speak, it just caught the 60 or 70 tabs in this window.

I tried changing the name of my profile folder to randomstring.defaultOLD and changed one of the backups to randomstring.default. This didn't change the behavior. I'm still stuck in the loop. I saved my tabs with onetab, because firefox isn't remembering my session anymore. I thought it was something to do with updates, like it only loses its mind upon updates, but that's not true. It thinks it's updating firefox EVERY TIME, because the one time it's loading to 1 month ago it was updating, but I'm 100% sure there are no updates to firefox in my linux. It's just hallucinating.

The articles on restoring from backup are outdated. They say to use an html file. There is no html file. It's just folders for profiles, not html files. HELP!

Firefox fails on Hulu with "location could not be determined" even in a clean profile with no extensions, same IP/WebRTC result as Chrome, no enterprise policies, fingerprinting protection off, tracking protection off, NordVPN on NordLynx with no split tunneling.

It's very odd. Normally moving an email, say from the Inbox to the relevant year's archive, takes "no time at all".

Which is true for all the mailboxes shown on the attached screenshot, EXCEPT for the four at the bottom. Moving even one message from Inbox to Yiddish can take ten seconds or longer (with the dreaded "Not Responding" occasionally). Moving something in the opposite direction is also screwy, only from those four.

I had thought that it was because they're rather large. This first started when there were just Yiddish and MSW, and I split off most of the earlier years into the archives shown. To no avail.

It's only an annoyance, but I'm puzzled about how such a thing could happen.

Also very slow tagging or untagging a message just in those mailboxes.

This problem has not been resolved but continues. Please tell me in plain English what I can do to correct it, other than to abandon Thunderbird.

Using Mac Airbook iOS 15.6.1 Sequoia

I installed Mozilla Firefox today as an alternative to Chrome. I imported all my bookmarks and history, then sat down to watch Netflix. However, I could not log into Netflix in Firefox. Just 10 minutes prior, I had been watching a show using Chrome, so I know that there is nothing wrong with my Netflix account. I began to read up on Firefox and netflix issues and feel like I have tried everything. I cleaned the memory cache (even though it was my first time trying to access Netflix on Firefox), I made sure the Widevine thing was installed and active, so Youtube works. DRM was enabled, no VPN, no extensions active, I tried troubleshooting mode and made a new profile - but no luck. It still said something went wrong. I went back to Chrome to watch some more Netflix without problems, then retried on Firefox.

Unsure what to try next. I get that I could just use Chrome, or even download Netflix. But at this point, I just want to solve the issue because it bothers me.

The problem is illustrated in the first image attached: Google Maps shows no image, just solid black. This does not occur in browsers other than Firefox.

After restarting my laptop, the same problem persists, but on first going to the Google Maps website the usual image of my neighborhood flashes, then disappears to be replaced by the black.

The second attached image shows four possible causes and fixes offered by Google AI. I tried them all, and nothing made any difference. This image also shows that the thumbnail image appears when my cursor hovers over the tab in which Maps is open.

The only thing out of the ordinary I did before this problem occurred was browsing the Firefox Extensions on advice of Google AI to turn off the intrusive "Genius" AI pop-ups, but I didn't discover anything relevant and I don't think I made any changes.

I'd welcome any suggestions for what to try next,
