Recent history is stored correctly. Yet, when I open Firefox after a crash, recent tabs are not shown, just the tab configuration I had open about one month ago. How do I reset this so Firefox knows my recent tabs?

Previously I used History/Restore Previous session. Now I just changed Firefox to show, my windows and tabs from last time when starting. I then killed my Firefox session and restarted - I still get the tabs from 1 month ago.

when accessed provides information on many of the advisories, but for some it displays an error that you are not authorized to open. 

I tried to open bug #790879 & it showed following error:- (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=790879). Can anybody please tell me what needs to be done to get complete access of the advisories.

Has the problem with Firefox 17 and using Norton Internet Security Identity Vault and auto logins been resolved. In addition, how does one get up auto update for Firefox. If I revert to an earlier version, Firefox will automatically update to Version 17 and the problem will start again.

The pop up appears with every new tab. It has an extremely small delete "X" icon if you can find it...The pop up interferes visually with every tab and must be carefully manually deleted each time. It is always located in the lower left bottom of the screen. It is a window about 3 inches square. It began last week with an automatic download. I want it removed or I will be swiftly returning to Explorer or perhaps Google Chrome...Thanking you in advance

What in the world can I do to stop this from happening? It is happening more and more.

When i access a website with javascript ( i used http://www.gdv.de/ as a test site ) Firefox freezes and needs to be shut down by task manager. This problem started with Firefox upgrading to 16.0 or 16.1. I tried to reinstall it several times without success. Disabling java in preferences solves the problem. I tried uninstalling java completely, problem persists. When Firefox starts it opens one or two tasks called plugin container for firefox.

Initially my yahoo.com homepage loads with no issues. Now, when I select a link from yahoo.com and then hit the back arrow it takes me back to yahoo. com, but to blank page. Once I get this blank page I can bring up yahoo.com main page by refreshing the page. No problem with any other site. I just updated to FF 17.0, but it was happening with the previous version as well. Thanks in advance and God Bless!

When I go to a website Firefox doesn't show the full URL I'm not talking about the http:// part but the bottom half of the URL is cut off. Though if I scroll/move the text over the rest of the URL appears.

This just started today for me though after I had some problems with a plug-in called Grease Monkey un-enabling itself but that problem fixed itself

I tried to install a java plugin and it didn't work because it said Firefox had disabled it. I then stupidly disabled all plugins and reset Firefox. Now all my history, bookmarks, favorites and website addresses and information is gone. It also changed my homepage from msn to Firefox but I have managed to reset that. But I am lost without my website address and bookmarks.

please please some body help me .. few days ago there is problem happen with firefox that every few minutes the browser is locking up!! any thing i try do not work on it .. i can't do any thing in it or press any button just MINIMIZE button !!and still lock up about 20-30 seconds and after that work fine afew minuts and happen again every few minutes !!!!! i try update it to final but still have the problem ! i delete it completely and install again and it work fine but after i paste my profile data the problem show again !!

please help me .. what should i do ?! i need my profile without this problem what should i do ?

I use Windows 7. I have used Firefox for a couple of years. A few days ago I tried using the icon on desktop and using the icon in the list of programs with no results. The cursor has the "spinning ball" next to it for a few seconds, but nothing ever appears. I tried rebooting and downloading the Version 17 again and it opened one time and went back to the above "spinning etc".

I will be at a moving within a website and then need to hit the back arrow. When I do Firefox gives me the message that it has "timed out" and I have to select resend. Usually this works (it's annoying though) and sometimes it doesn't. This requires me to go back and start over with the website.

I believe I am seeing this old bug (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449219) in Firefox ESR v10.0.3. Could this be a regression or new version of the same bug? Or is the ESR build separate from the normal trunk releases and could this bug not have been patched onto the ESR branch?

I was never given a admin password with this computer so I haven't been able to change or update anything for the year I have owned it. I need any and all options I have on correcting this issue. I am wondering if the "Update Firefox" option does NOT appear in the Update tab of Device manager for Firefox, because I am not administrated of Linux / system supervisor or running in Root. Please advise me of the best way to fix these issues. You should also know that because of the dated browser, this system barely moves, adobe crashes and other problems. I have tried to download things on Firefox 9pictures,updates,ect.) but when i try to down load it, nothing will get downloaded. I will try to down load it on Google Chrome and IE and it will work and download.

I believed that I had got rid of MyStartincredibar as the main search engine, about a week ago, which had somehow found it's way into my Firefox. However it is still coming up as a secondary search engine on occasions and I cannot see how to get rid of this. I have also had problems with aLot search bar and also babylon but think these have gone. Is there a cleansing tool to get rid of these unwanted sites? Help appreciated.

When trying to access a web-based data base thta worked fine with FireFox 16, I now got message: "Your Browser is not supported" at the place where an image loaded via a plugin (ChemDraw plug-in 12.0.2.1076) should load. This worked perfectly with version 16 and the plugin is still in place and not declared incompatible by FireFox. How do I modify the way FireFox announces it-self to the web site so that it is not declared incompatible...
