Today I tried to look up a previous email that I'd filed in a subfolder, but the folder displayed no emails. If I click on the subfolder above it, it shows me the number of emails and displays the list of emails. Then when I click on the subfolder I want, it displays the name and number of emails for the previous subfolder I looked at.

I tried troubleshoot mode, but still no luck, and the folder is gray instead of yellow like all the others.

I'm using Thunderbird 115.9.0 (32 bit), Windows 11 Home 64-bit.

I've been using Thunderbird for years and have never had this problem before.

Hoping someone will have some advice!

The attendees I select are not receiving their invites to my calendar events. My version of Thunderbird (TB) is 115.9.0 (64-bit). I check my sent folder and it does not send. Older versions of TB, the Calendar invite worked and I can see it was sent from the sent folder. Please note that I am not tech savvy and I need a solution that an average person can employ. If someone has a solution, please get it in step by step instructions and assume I know next to nothing.

I'm getting login issues to my Outlook account. I understand this is an emerging problem and I"m following the instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/microsoft-oauth-authentication-and-thunderbird-202

However, I can't follow the instructions under section "Change Thunderbird authentication method for sending messages (SMTP)" because I don't have "Outgoing Server (SNMP)" in the lefthand side. I do have an option to edit Outgoing Server settings, but there is no option to set OAuth2 in the Authentication Method dropdown. I am unable to send Outlook emails, and I'm unable to complete the instructions to fix it. Help is appreciated!

I sent an email with multiple BCCs and no CCs or TOs, I put myself as one of the BCCs.

I did not receive it and I do not think anybody else did as well since I asked a few people.

The email is in the sent folder. I tried forwarding the email from my sent folder to myself as CC, and that worked. I also tried fowarding as BCC, and that worked.

So what is going on? Is BCC working? How can I know for certain? Do I need to foward the email as BCCs to all my BCCs to get this to work?

Hi I've been having an issue with adding bookmarks lately. I have a lot of Bookmarks as such I use a lot of bookmark folders, often multiple folders within one another.

The issue I have is that when I add a new bookmark on mobile Firefox displays all Bookmark folders all at once leading to a lot of scrolling in order to get to a specific folder. This can lead me to several minutes of searching as I try to find a specific folder.

This could be solved by implementing a drop down box to hide folders within folders.

Anyhelp is appreciated.

I just subscribed to some feeds on Thunderbird for the first time and it seems like the maximum number of articles downloaded per feed is 25. How do I change this? (Screenshot of the number of messages per feed.)

My passwords do not sync from windows. I have verified they are both connected but my ios never has my desktop passwords. I have verified connected the setting is checked to copy passwords i have hit the sync shile sitting at my desktop but the passwords never are on my phone.

why om last updates all my hotmail accounts keep asking me for passwords ? everytime i need to login... your older version was best then this.. i think you make updates with problems , how can i get the older version only ?

I want to delete a mail folder from an IMAP server. When clicking "Delete" in right-click menu, Thunderbird tries to move it to trash. This fails for folders that are shared from another user with error "[CANNOT] Renaming not supported across non-private namespaces". When I switch the "When I delete a message" setting to "Remove it immediately" the folder is deleted correctly. Is it possible to do this just for folders? I tried Shift+Delete and holding Shift while clicking Delete but both did not work, Thunderbird tried and failed to move the folder to trash as usual. It would however be most useful if after failing to move the folder to trash it would give me an option to delete it permanently instead.

I have includes 4 different email adresses in Thunderbird. All of them as IMAP. All the time everthing works fine, but for the last 2 weeks Thinderbird doesnt syncronize correctly.

For example: Thunderbird sees, that there are 8 unread messages in inbox, but at the same time Thunderbird does show me only 5 of them in the inbox. (When I login the the eMail-provider then there are all the 8 messages)

The "repair"-tool did not help so far. Diffrent mail-adresses show similar behavior.

I need a good idea.

Hi, all of my passwords and usernames have been deleted. When I go to the passwords section of my account all that is listed is the web addresses. The usernames and passwords are blank! HELP!

Hi there, recently I wanted to open Firefox on an iPad that I did not use for a while but I was not able to access the tabs anymore. They seem to be inactive somehow. Turning the inactive tabs-setting off did not help in getting them active again. At the same time it seems to be a graphical issue that does not show the tabs as active. When being in overview mode I still acn see thumbnaisl of the webpages that have be opened before, biut I cannot access and use these pages when I click on that corresponding tab.

What can I do to gain access to my obviously opened tabs again? Thanks in advance!

Last week, sometime, I received ALL the emails, that have come into my "mailbox", from about the time I purchased my latest computer, several years ago. There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of the little critters. All arranged alphabetically, starting with the letter "a". So far, the ONLY solution I've found from "Thunderbird Help", is to 1. Open inbox 2. Select [left click] one of the repeated emails. 3. This high lights the email in BLUE. 4. Select BOTH "CONTROL & A" KEYS at the same time. 5. This highlights the WHOLE PRESENT page of emails in BLUE. 6. The instructions then say to press the "DELETE" key. 7. Question is- IF I PRESS THE "DELETE" key, will that just delete the emails on this page, OR delete EVERY email in my entire "inbox"? The only OTHER remedy I've tried, is to send the unwanted emails, ONE at a time, to the "TRASH" folder, then empty the "TRASH" folder, when I get 10-15 emails in it. That could take a VERY long time. I'm seeing glitches when scrolling on some sites, eg. google.com, orange.pl. I checked other browsers - chrome and Samsung internet (so based on chromium) and there seems to be no problems.

I was a bit surprised that I found some mozilla kraken benchmark 1.1 results that were somewhat better than mine (despite being done on the same mobile SoC as mine)

I then read closely that the better score was made on the Chrome Mobile browser.

I then installed Chrome on my mobile and also suddenly got results which average were about 25 - 28 % better than when I ran Kraken in Firefox Is that to be expected? Or can I do something to make my firefox just as fast?
