I created an account with chat gpt with my google login. Lately, when I try to log into it using Firefox, after I click the "Continue with Google" button, I am redirected to https://www.arkoselabs.com/ !

After a few tries with the same result, I tried in chrome and had no issues accessing my account.

This one's stumpped me. I'm at a loss. Anyone else having this problem? Is it a redirect virus? Chrome is prone to the yahoo redirect virus. I'm wondering if this is similar or if there's somethin' wrong.

Since a few months, I'm having problems sometime to access Googles websites : Youtube, Google Search, Drive... Sometimes, it does load very fast (i do have Fiber optic) but sometimes, it will take between 2 and 10 minute to load one Google Search page. Reloading doesn't do anything. It's often on site at the time that is "disable". Other website (Netflix, Amazon... never have any issue, even during thoses moments) My other computer (a mac) doesn't have this issue, and I have no issues if i use the Private mode. Also, other browser doesn't seems to have this issue.

I have some extensions : uBlock Origin, I don't care about cookies and Speed Dial. Disabling thoses doesn't seems to affect this problem. I finally uninstall Firefox, and reinstalled it (with my preference) and still the problem persist.

Does someone have any tips to solve this issue ?

This morning, my Firefox browser was unable to open so I downloaded it again and tried to sync up my browser using my email address. When I used my email address and reset the password, a much older version of my browser without all my bookmarks logged in. I've only use the *hidden for privacy*@gmail.com email address so I'm not sure if I have two profiles under that email. On my phone which has been sync'd to my profile for years, I have all the bookmarks that I've been using for year. I don't want to sync it now so I don't loose it.

I had a new windows installation done without backing up the firefox profile while foolishly resetting the firefox password too without using the recovery key and effectively losing my current data.

Is there anything that could be done to restore the data to my account or is that the end?

I don't like, or use, social media, I don't want a robot telling me what I should be interested in. I have tried on numerous occassions to stop Pocket appearing on Firefox. All have failed.

Does Mozilla not allow me to stop Pocket?

When going to mail.yahoo.com, I get this error message:

It works OK with Chrome, I just do not like Chrome! I made changes to allow cookies and that made no difference.

After the last update of Firefox, I cannot browse to websites. Firefox simply presents a "New Tab" prompt as if it is trying to get to the website but nothing happens. Other browsers work flawlessly.

Any ideas?

When I go to www.belastingdienst.nl I receive the message: connection reset. The cause is not business of the site. Furthermore I can load all other sites on my laptop (windows 11) My old desktop (windows 10) does not have such problems. What can I do to reach www.belastinggdienst.nl on my laptop? It might have something to do with my firefox settings.

I was having trouble getting into my Ancestry account. I called their support and they said it was my browse not connecting with them. I can access if I use Edge, but I don't like that format and would much more prefer Firefox. Is there a problem, or were they just brushing me off? How can I get into Ancestry using Firefox again? Can you please advise.

I have zero clue how 150+ of my mother's passwords suddenly appeared in my account. Further, why the hell many of my passwords are now GONE! My mother has not used Firefox in ages and there is ZERO reason her Google Garbage should be anywhere NEAR my Firefox account. I have been using Firefox since my early teens but I will sure as hell jump ship if there is not a damn good explanation and fix for this utter BS!!!!!

The discord web app detects my microphone input, but it does not detect the output. I've tried troubleshooting my earphones and using the device speakers. I've also tried checking the windows sound system, the browser permissions as well as clearing cache. I've gone over this with the discord staff and they said that the firefox team would be able to handle the situation better, as the problem does not persist between different browsers.

a few days ago, Firefox stopped playing sounds. Any sounds. not youtube, not on Facebook. Not even porn videos. nothing. i don't remember installing any new software and Chrome plays youtrube sounds just fine. I listen on headphones and when i unjack, i still can only hear Chrome's browser play sounds. It seems like its not my comp, its the browser itself and it's only happened recently. i have yet to uninstall the browser and re-install, but i think if i use the Mozilla backup program to save my bookmarks, it will save whatever setting is causing the problem as well and re-installing will get me nowhere. anyone have any clue? i'm sure it's something simple but i cant figure it out

I read a few posts and it is all gobbledy gook. Can someone answer y/n to the following is their a SIMPLE way to unblock Free-Sudoku.com which I have been using for years? Is there a simple way to turn off all the security stuff so I don't have to waste hours trying to find a solution? Is there a simple way to ask a question to get a meaningful answer without all the flak that means nothing to an average user? Does anyone at Firefox care about the average guy trying use his browser without unnecessary security lockdowns? I just want to play sudoku from free-sudoku.com all I get is a lock with a bar through it. on the U'RL box. It just started 3 days ago after years of non-interference. When I click on the lock I don't have an unblock button in the popup. Why does firefox just put one there instead of just an arcane hours long wild goose chase to look for non-solutions. Yeah, I am frustrated over unilateral browser lockdowns.

Hi, its been a while now that I've noticed every version of FF doesn't work that well with Facebook. For example, I'm scrolling through posts and when I click on a picture to open the post, the mouse click area is miles out to close pop up windows etc. It only happens on some posts but a majority is this issue.

Anyone else has this problem? FB via Chrome works fine.

The book mark menu option (displaying the bookmark menu and allowing selection) has disappeared from the book mark tool bar and I can't find a way to add it back. Any suggestions?

Something is not working for my syncing data for my new computer coming from my older one that was working fine....none of those bookmarks are around, no matter where I look, I cannot find all of my highly needed bookmarks that I have had for years...all gone. I need some help please. Thanks.
