I'm facing an issue with the Import/Export Tools NG add-on in Thunderbird, and I'm hoping to find some guidance or a solution here. I have an mbox file with approximately 1200 emails that I need to import into my Gmail account. I've been following the process of importing the mbox file into a local folder on my Mac and then moving that folder to my Gmail account within Thunderbird. However, I'm consistently running into a problem where only 39 of those emails get imported into Gmail, no matter how many times I attempt the process.

Here are the steps I've followed based on instructions I found online: 1. I used the Import/Export Tools NG to import the mbox file into a local folder within Thunderbird. 2. After the import appears successful, with all emails visible in the local folder, I then drag and drop that folder into my Gmail account within Thunderbird. 3. The process begins, but only 39 emails are transferred to the Gmail folder. The rest seem to be ignored or fail to import.

Some additional information that might be helpful: - I'm using Thunderbird on a Mac. - The mbox file contains about 1200 emails. - I've tried repeating the process multiple times, always with the same result of only 39 emails being imported. - There don't seem to be any error messages; the process just stops after 39 emails.

I'm at a bit of a loss on how to proceed and would greatly appreciate any advice, insights, or solutions you might have. Could this issue be related to the size of the mbox file, a limitation within Gmail, or perhaps something I'm missing in the Import/Export process? Any help or guidance would be immensely appreciated.

Hello, I hope your day is going well! (^_^) I highly dislike quite a few of the settings on firefox, especially considering they're turned on by default. The setting I abhor is the experiment setting because mozilla is quite literally experimenting on myself and other users. You may have a different perspective on the matter but I find it disgusting that there's nothing overtly telling you that your instance of firefox is different than other peoples just so they can run experiments (technically, on YOU) but I digress. I noticed the experiment option was turned on after I thought I had turned it off. Since I turned it off, I've had to update firefox every time I start it. I happened to look at the settings and noticed that the experiment option was turned back on without my consent or knowledge. After turning it off again, firefox updated once again and guess what, the experiment setting was turned back on. Why is that and how can I prevent that from happening in the future because, again, that's a disgusting practice in my eyes.

I use Thunderbird for 6 email addresses. All but one I can make the font bold (& do other things). I studied & compared & can't find one refuses to allow me to change to a bold font.

Long time user of TB. Have worked with a number of signatures over the years. I occasionally have the below problem. This time it has become quite frustrating.

I have pictures in my email signature.

I have recently moved folders for all of my data. I get it. I need to update the path information for the HTML (built in MS Word) file. I have done that.

The signature is there... the images are not. The borders around the images are there, the images are not.

I do not know what is blocking the images from coming through.

I have the same issure on another computer that I use. Though I have never been abale to ge the pictures to load on that system. Borders only.

Under "Settings" > "Files and Applications" > "Downloads", I have selected "Save files to [Downloads]" and I have set the tick mark in the box ("Always ask you where to save files"). See screenshot.

This setting used to work fine for many a year. However, some months ago - and ongoing - Firefox does no longer ask me where to save a downloaded file. This is very annoying indeed!

How can I fix this?

I am using Windows 10, Firefox 124.0 (64-bit).

Okay. It's 2024 and after reading very stale suggestions for editing code I'm left wondering what mindset within the TB development community thinks the default of vertical lines applied during an email exchange is desired by most users? Is it really that difficult to have the default be NO lines with an easily selected option to use lines if desired? Seems like it'd be a sought after option.

When I scroll text for some reason, Firefox stopping scrolling very slow. It's almost take up to 2 seconds. Very annoying smoothest. I have stopped scrolling already but Firefox still scrolling and finally very slow stop it. I can't focus on the text because it's still slows down the scrolling.

How to fix that!?

Hello fine people, forgive me im a noob, first day kn thunderbird... I would like all of my email to show together from both of my Gmail accounts. In Gmail it available as "all mailboxes"

I see that when I search it searches all accounts, that's super cant do that on Gmail but I just cant figure out how to combine my inboxes so scanning the days mail is more easy the way I like it

Hi An association creates an event in ProtonCalendar and designs me as a participant. So I received an invitation, nice. Reading the message I have a button "Accept" in which there is a "Send a response to the author". When I click on that button, the event is correctly added to my personal calendar and it is said that a response has been sent. But, the response is not in my "Sent" directory and the association never receive the response. What am I missing ? Is there a way to get that working?

I am using Thunderbird email and I have set several signature using signature switch. I have in account settings to put my signature below my text but above the quoted text. When I click on 'Reply' or 'Forward', the initial signature is as it should be but when I click on signature switch to pick a signature and click on the one I want my signature then is put BELOW the quoted text??? It will not put it above the quoted text as I have set. How do I fix this problem?

Hi, When I use a shortcut for a bookmark (e.g., typing "yt" to activate my youtube search bookmark with URL set to "https://www.youtube . com/results?search_query=%s" and shortcut set to "yt") it opens in a new tab. I am in the habit of making a new tab before using a shortcut to search using a bookmark. How can I change the shortcut bookmark behavior to open in the same tab where i typed the query into the URL bar?

I am setting up a new mac computer (Mac book Air M3 with Sonoma 14.3). I have installed Video Download Helper. The icon appears in the Applications folder and the Dock, but not in the Firefox toolbar. How can I get the icon back? Many thanks.
