I'd prefer opening new tabs to happen in the background, so I can stay on the original page.

So far, Firefox seems to open new links and will switch to them immediately, automatically.

I checked in settings, and found the setting in the attached image.

I found that whether this setting was checked or unchecked, the behavior remained the same.

Any suggestions?

I've been using TB for about two years now. I had been using Outlook for about 20+ years. since around the beginning of this year, I began to notice a glitch in the programme. It 'eats' emails. I have three email accounts and all are in TB. I'll be in the Inbox of one account and suddenly it scroll-deletes emails. My hands are neither on the mouse nor the keyboard. If I'm fast enough, I can close TB down. If I open it again, it will happen again. The only means to correct this, it seems is to reboot the PC. Happened again yesterday and scroll deleted roughly 150 emails.

To bring the emails back to the Inbox from the Trash, is to click one email at a time, it would seem. In Outlook, I was able to right click on one email and drag down or up to select multi emails and move them back. It seems this does not exist in TB, unless I am missing something.

Questions: 1. Is there a means to fix this 'scroll deleting' of emails?

2. Is there a means to right click and drag select emails in order to move them to another folder, versus Clt+click on each?

Where has the quit and settings options gone. I had it set up to delete browsing history etc on quit now it seems I have to do it manually. The settings option has also gone. Why?

Sometimes the gesture for refreshing the page is triggered even when I'm not at the top of the page and am just trying to scroll. I believe its suppose to only trigger when at the top of the page.

I have a vision problem and can only read if dark mode is on. I have dark mode on for firefox but when I go to a website from settings, the back ground is white and blinds me. help

When I start typing in Firefox for Android's Address Bar, the first few results are search provider autocomplete, then "Firefox Suggest," which shows three (3) items from History, some Open Tabs and Synced Tabs, then Bookmarks. I would like to change: 1. The order of groups, so that it goes e.g. Autocomplete, History, Bookmarks, Synced Tabs 2. The priority or relative sizes of groups, so that it shows e.g. up to 10 results from History before showing other types of results

Are either of these changes possible? I'm using Nightly so About:Config prefs are fair game.

No third party extension from the Mozilla Add-On Store allows you to add your own sticky notes directly onto the Default Firefox Home Page. It seems to be because of security reasons. Could a sticky notes customization tool be built-in natively to Firefox itself to enable sticky notes to be created and pinned on the Default Firefox Home Page?

I am running out of space in my Outlook email account and would like to save some folders onto my ubuntu computer so that they are still accessible. I have tried following selecting and saving but it only saves about 30 messages. It has also deleted the rest of the folder - help please.

Is there an easy way to just keep POP with thunderbird? Seems that between Microsoft and GoDaddy (my email provider) they want me to change to IMAP/Exchange. Is there any easy way to avoid this certain nigthmare?

My sent folder has been missing for a while. I have tried suggested solutions to get it back but nothing has worked. I only have Trash and Outbox showing in my Local Folders. Help please, I use sent all the the time.

I wish Firefox's "List all tabs" feature worked more like Chrome's "Search tabs" feature. While they're similar, Chrome's implementation immediately offers a search field with the cursor already in it. To search for an open tab all I have to do is click the arrow and start typing. In Firefox I have to click the arrow and then click again on "Search tabs".

It may sound like a minor detail but I would argue that all the detail are important.

Also, I know that I can type a "%" in the address bar to begin a tab search but sometimes my hand is already on the mouse.

I recently added the Firefox browser, and have it fully up-to-date, and tried adding a few extensions/add-ons. But nowhere are the icons for those extensions/add-ons showing up anywhere in the browser. Not even in the customize toolbars region. I can see that I've added those extensions/add-ons, but their associated icons are nowhere to be found.

How do I go about fixing/correcting this issue?

I want to install AdBlock Plus add on, verify it is in fact installed. Also [[;ace icon in taskbar. Also set it for NO ADS at all. Please, how do I do all that?
