Someone has created Mozilla accounts using several of my company's openly available email accounts. I can't figure why. Anyone have an idea why? I know this because all three accounts received the following email message from Mozilla: "Welcome to Mozilla! A few days ago you created a Mozilla account, but never confirmed it. Please confirm your account in the next 15 days or it will be automatically deleted. Don’t miss out on the browser that puts you and your privacy first."

I wanna thx for having Mozilla Firefox and i wanna ask about products for example with commercial versions but available for non profit organization in eastern EU area with social background. Im ask because afraid from local little old soft/dev gave as gift decade ago vs "confusing" logs etc?

Hi, I'll try to explain exhaustively my problem and what I've tried.

While looking at adding a new profile, I made a mistake and deleted the actual profile. Firefox immediately shut, and I made the mistake to open it right after...

It started from zero, as it had no profile to go into. Creating a new profile in the same time. I did this a few time, nothing changed obviously. I went to the AppData/Roaming path to find my old profile, which wasn't there anymore. I then managed to recover my profile files thanks to Recuva and EaseUS.

But now, I'm stuck. When adding the files in the newly created profile, it seems to roll back to the profile creation prompt (like import stuff from other browsers etc.). Copy/pasting only the desired sessionstore or the previous backup doesn't work either. It also tried to put the "good profile" in the Profiles folder. Firefox didn't recognize it, and I couldn't create a new profile from this folder in the Profile Manager as it said "this name is already used" etc. (it's a default-release) I then tried to edit the profiles.ini and install.ini to force Firefox on the wanted profile. Which succeeded and failed at the same time: it opened the right profile-folder, but without any session, bookmark... and back again to the profile creation prompt. And created a new empty sessionstore, prefs, etc.

Then I'm left with my recovered backup files and no idea how to import them...

No FireFox icon on desktop. How do I access the search engine? I DO have the icon for Adobe Acrobat, which I got for FREE at Firefox. When clicked on only gives Adobe site.

Hallo everybody who wants to help me, A few days ago, YouTube opened a tab in my browser without being asked. How can I stop this? It started with youtube automatically opening the installed app every day. I then uninstalled the app. Since uninstalling it, youtube opens a tab in my firefox every day, which I don't want. I had 59.0b1 running, but Attachment Extractor & Walnut Add-ons not supported. So per help suggestion to my earlier question & "http://kb.mozillazine.org/Go_back_to_an_old_version_of_Firefox", downloaded 52.6.0. Exited TBird, deleted my old profile in %APPDATA%. Copied old xxx.default profile over an earlier copy for insurance - some error messages "same filename". Installed new TBird version.

Walnut now works - great! Attachment Extractor still not supported..

Now all the hundred or so emails in my Inbox are gone, just downloaded a few new ones. Address books are gone.

Any suggestions?

I hope this message finds you well! I use two versions of Firefox: the stable one and the developer one.

The developer version is set to start with the Windows start and is set to be minimized on the Windows try but since some years Firefox, as other browser do, never load the page or the tab content if the tab or the window is not active, been seen by the user.

I'm asking if there is some hidden settings in the about:config that allow me to disable this and let Firefox load tabs or page always, not only when the tab or windows is seen by me.

When I try to access my email on Thunderbird, I keep getting the same message: Login to account "jayoung3@icloud.com" failed Login to server imap.mail.me.com with username jayoung3 failed.

I changed my password but I still can't access my email. And I have an account recovery code (which I don't know how to use).

Basically, I reinstalled Windows, and I had all my passwords and stuff on my Firefox beforehand. Now, I don't remember my accounts password, and not the security key either.

Since a recent update, the shortcuts on my home page have moved up higher on the home page.

Previously, they were more in the middle of the page.

Is there any way to move them back down to the middle of the page? It just looks off to me. :)

Every time I start Firefox, some of my pinned tab favicons will show an unread dot (although not consistently), even though there may have been zero changes to anything in that tab. Gmail is especially bad about this, making me think I have a new unread email when all of my emails have been read. How do I fix this? I looked in the Tab settings for Firefox and don't see anywhere I can change a setting.
