Hi!

I am getting messages that I am blocking ads for many of my internet requests. I had never received these before but all of a sudden I started to get them. I have tried a number of things but nothing works.

I am running Windows 11 and do not have any Ad blockers.

I have noticed that my CPU runs hotter when playing videos in Mozilla Firefox, for example streaming TV series. Youtube seems to be less affected.

My configuration is:

The normal CPU temperature was around 47 c (sometimes even 46 c), but it now goes up to 52-53 c. If I disable hardware acceleration, it goes up to 59 c. If I switch tabs to another that only has static content, the temperature drops.

Additionally, when doing the same thing in Google Chrome, the temperature is perfectly normal.

Is there any way to fix this?

Wie bekomme ich Firefox wieder in Deutsch? Seit oben in der Eingabezeile rechts das Zeichen einer App, das ausschaut wie "XA", auftaucht, kommt Firefox fröhlich in Englisch. Was muß ich machen, um diese Beta-App wieder loszuwerden und wieder ein deutschsprachiges Firefox zu bekommen?

Hi Folks, When I open a particular web site and click login Firefox shows/suggests use of my actual username. I'd like that to NOT happen (i.e. show nothing) for that (or a few) web sites. like the title says, usually at least once a day firefox will just stop loading web pages entirely. more specifically, it gets stuck loading any page infinitely. occasionally if i wait long enough things will start loading again, but usually that time never comes and i have to restart the browser. i'm kind of a tab hoarder so restarting the browser can be annoying in itself, since i have to wait for the browser to load. i'm not really sure how to troubleshoot this with extensions and the like since i haven't noticed any trend in when the problem occurs. weirdly enough, it happened while i was typing this and while every other website fails to load, the mozilla support site is consistently fine. any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Firefox for years and have been very happy with it. Recently, however, it will not open no matter what I do. I've refreshed it, removed and reinstalled it, but it still will not open. What could be the problem?

Hi - After the latest Firefox update on my laptop around 2 days ago, I am now unable to play a game on facebook that i've been playing with no probs on Firefox for years. After this update, this game of all things (nothing else is) is slowing Firefox down. Now the page fully loads very slowly - as do the moves I try to make. Am I correct in thinking that there is basically no option to safely return to the previous version? If so, why at the very least was I not given the option not to update, while acknowledging I may be at greater risk if making such a choice. Looking forward to some help please! Thank you Steve

I have recently found out that i couldn't add my Avast Antitrack to the system. On querying this with Avast they tell me that Firefox will no longer use this add on. I really want to know why this can no longer be used on Fire fox please.

Receiving the following error code when trying to go to my bank site: www.fnb.co.za. This started after the last Windows Update. I have no problem going to the site using other Internet Browsers. This just happens on FireFox: Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox and really enjoy using the Fullscreen Mode (F11) while browing Websites, since I hide my taskbar in Windows, hiding the Browsers own taskbar makes for a really immersive browsing experience.

Only problem I've happend upon is, that when Fullscreen Mode is enabled, my automatically hiding Taskbar does not want to appear when being moused over. This is logical behavior and I understand why it does that, but is there some way to change this behavior in the backend of the software?
