My emails were all working (accounts were setup fine). Then, recently, when I opened Thunderbird, the main area (where my messages are displayed) is empty. If I choose another folder, still empty. BUT, the folders all say that there are messages in them (see the attached screenshot)

I have tried the following... 1. Opening Thunderbird in Troublshooting mode: This works, and the messages appear. But I don't want to have to open troubleshooting mode every time. 2. I have ZERO extensions installed, so asking to disable them obviously wont do anything. 3. I have tried to repair the folders (I have tried to repair the default inbox folder, and then tried to repair them all ... nothing worked). 4. I have backed up my thunderbird files, and tried reinstalling Thunderbird. Still didn't work. 5. Good day, I don't know if this is related to the latest version of Firefox that was installed within a few days. When I'm in a "reel" and I click on either the face or the arrow in the circle, nothing happens. Other times when i'm at an item, the same thing happens. I've rebooted my system: Mac Mini (running Ventura 13.7, 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3, 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 memory). Firefox V: 147.0.1 I've swapped my mouse with another known to work, with the same problem.

Tonight I ran Facebook on my iPad (V: 18.7.2 - 7th gen.) and everything worked.

Could the updated Firefox have a problem?

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Thought it was a VPN setting, not fixed. What should I try to find and correct my problem?? Ray ([edited email from public forum])

I have Thunderbird Android and it changed to Apple when we bought Apple TV and now we cannot send. Were forced to use crap Webmail. Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. The worst example is Synchrony Bank, which runs several credit cards I use. You may contact me by email at [email removed]@att.net (put FIREFOX PROBLEM in the title so I don't miss it).

I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

MB is telling me to put MB on Firefox! BUT, I already have MB on Firefox. Can you help me.

I have posted this in two forums, not knowing which will get me the answer.

I have an account with optimum.net I no longer receive Thunderbird emails since 9-02-24 about 10 AM EST. I talked to the "Head" tech at Optimum and he constantly assured me that the problem was with Thunderbird, not Optimum. I do not receive emails from optimum (suddenlink,net) or yahoo.com.

But I can send email, through Thunderbird to each. I have to look on the web to see the emails, since Tbird does not receive.

I have changed no passwords.

I think that Bird only uses the server on suddenlink, my primary ISP The head tech at optimum says it it not there problem.

Could someone tell me the answer?

I cannot load duolingo webpage. Until yesterday, it loaded on my laptop without a problem. Now, when I go to this page, it is stuck in "loading." I can, however, load the page on Bing. I can also load it on Firefox on a DIFFERENT computer.

I can load all the other webpages that I have tried on my laptop on Firefox as usual. The only webpage that is not loading is Duolingo.

Today in two of my accounts I get error message "Unable to open the summary file for Inbox on imapML. Perhaps there was an error on disk, or the full path is too long." Two other accounts work fine so no error on disk, and full path hasn't changed.

I just updated the software a day ago and it helped out a lot of issues. On only 1 of my email accounts when I click on sent it freezes the software and I have to force close it. The other email accounts don't seem to have this issue.

Steps I've tried:

• I've downloaded thunderbird and installed again.
• Ran in troubleshoot mode or similar I guess to the safe mode.

Any suggestions would be kindly appreciated.
