Hi

I cannot reactivate spell check as I type, with English dictionary and the thick box ticked. Previously I could not get rid of spell check in my 2nd language (Turkish) but as I have managed, now I cannot restore spell check in English.

Can anyone help please?

Should I delete and reinstall Firefox? If I do will I lose my bookmarks?

Hello there - I am very keen in your new translation tool. I am looking at a web page written in German (but the estensione is .at for Austria) but at the bottom of the page I do not see the translation icon. When I go to the Settings page I do not see the line TRANSLATION - just under TOOLBAR. I have version 146.0 of your app. I’d appreciate any help.

Translation Settings does not appear in the Settings menu on iOS

It’s a little frustrating, but I want to translate Japanese websites, Firefox is advertising how it’s latest December 2025 update permits translations for Japanese in iOS now… The App Store on iOS advertises that Translation is now available for Firefox…

And nothing. It’s about to be February 2026 in a couple of days, so surely, SURELY the rollout from December 2025 has finished by now? It says Japanese is available, and I live in Japan… what’s missing?

Are there undocumented minimum specifications that I’m not meeting? I’m using an iPhone XR with iOS 18.7.14 (January 2026). Is it rolling out by country, even though there’s no timeline documentation to be found that might indicate this…

Firefox "DECIDED" to translate my pages into Spanish. And it won't stop. No simple way to select IF, and WHEN, the user wants translation. Without a simple user controlled solution, the user CAN DELETE FIREFOX.

Why? Because I once went to the Costco site in Merida, Mexico to purchase a gift ????

Is this another nail in the Firefox coffin....upgrades that remove useful tools.....endless "tech" options poorly explained for the non tech head user....language changes not requested by the user, triggered in a highly thoughtless and foolish way that cannot be easily removed? Perhaps some Mozilla tech staff are secretly "employed" to promote other browser???

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

Firefox displays some search results in French. Microsoft Edge shows results only in English. Firefox settings are for English. Google settings are for English. How to fix Firefox or should I uninstall, then reinstall Firefox? Rick

My automatic translation don't work. Firefox never offers to translate neither translate automatically. Additionally, when I manually ask to translate, I always need to select the drop down menu and select the language, it does not use my app language neither saves the last one. I use Firefox on my Windows laptop and it works normally, but on this Android phone it doesn't. May I ask your support, please?

When I click "show all history", it appears in a script I do not know, but the name and URL below that list appears in English. I have gone though all of the settings options and everything is set to appear in English (US or UK), without a hint of any other language. I've quit and restarted Firefox, and restarted my Macbook Pro laptop running OS 14.8.3. Nothing changes. Thanks for any suggestions!

After 146 self installed, all the pages that used to auto translate that I had set up in earlier versions of FF, no longer auto translate. I have to manually go and select the languages every time - because FF will forget the settings after I close it down.

I hope you can get fix it eventually.

Every time I use translate I need to select the destination language. Am I missing something because this is really annoying. It's quicker to screenshot and use a third party translator which is frankly mad.

translate wont work , i have 2 pc win 10 pro , same IP in china , on 1 pc is workking , but on the other one it wont , i did new install , refresh , disabled add-ons exc , my language set to english and i need to translate chinese intoo english please help thanks

How can I control which languages are default in the translate tab module thing?

It always comes up with "Translate from Spanish, To English". And I have to manually choose every time, which takes up time.

I wish to have it defaulted as "Dutch -> English". I've already se the setting to "Always offer to translate" and "Always translate dutch", but I still have to do it manually sometimes.

The Russian language is not listed in the "To" part when I want to translate a page. Although it IS listed if the page is in Russian, so it suggests to translate from Russian to some other language. The language is installed in settings.
