Why does Firefox for iOS never stay logged into websites I have not logged out of? Even when I check that I want the browser to stay logged in or remember my username on sites? This only happens on iOS and not on a desktop.

Every time I try to access one of my courses online it tells me that I need to allow third-party pop up and I go onto the Settings andI alter the settings and is still not allowing the video to pop up

Dear, I’m trying to switch from Safari to Firefox on iOS but I’m having the following issues:

1- Dark mode is always on and changes every pages color. I have to manually switch it off and, if I close the app, it switches back on automatically. I would love to make it always off (currently I’m using dark theme but I tried to use light theme to check if it keeps dark mode off even after closing the app however it doesn’t… leads to my second issue);

2- I selected light theme and it was working until I close the app. When I reopen it goes back to dark theme (and dark mode too). I chose the option manually switch however it goes automatically anyways.

3- I use Google as my main search engine and I always login to my account however, after I close the app, it logoff automatically and I have to login back again.

I was having trouble with duplicate accounts and the passwords got intertwined so I “signed out” of the accounts and now everything disappeared! When I click on “password” from the 3 stacked bars, bottom right corner of my iPhone, nothing happens. I can’t add any or delete. Is there a way to get them back?

When I create an iCloud Calendar event now, the backspace key no longer functions when I'm giving the event a name/label. So if I'm trying to correct a typo, I can no longer simply backspace to erase the mistake. Instead, I have to highlight and delete the entire word or label - a new pain in the ass. Is this a Firefox issue (I do see a long history of Firefox backspace-related trouble in various threads/forums), or an ios issue? Thanks!

I am the Administrator for JAMF at my company and I want to deploy the iOS Firefox app for our iPads. But for it to work securely and well, I need to have a cert installed inside of it from our content filter. We do this easily if it's manually but I can't do that for every device. Anyone know how to deploy the custom cert inside JAMF or other management software?

I'm trying to determine if this is something happening in the browser itself or some terrible function of certain websites, but several times recently while using Firefox, webpages regularly refresh themselves. Is this supposed to be happening, and how do I make it stop? I'm on iOS Firefox 117.3 (34056).

I have a HTML file of my bookmarks from the Brave mobile browser. I was to get rid of Brave, but I want to ensure I can import my bookmarks into Firefox for iOS before I delete Brave off my phone. Could you please help me figure out a way to do so?

I am not able to sign in to Firefox IOS. The login always fails to load - see attached screen capture.

• I am using the latest Firefox version on my iPhone 12 Mini.
• IOS version is 16.6.1. This has happened regardless of the IOS version.

Please let me know what additional information you need to help with troubleshooting.

Been noticing lately how badly Firefox for iOS will slow way down after jumping between multiple pages, particularly if watching video clips on multiple different pages. Over time the responsiveness of the app gets so sluggish I have to force quit the app to get it back to it's usual snappy self.

It almost feels like a memory leak or a RAM cache that gets too full. No expert. Just not imagining it. Which each page search it gets slower and slower annnnd slloowwwer annnnnnnnnd ssssssslllllllllllloooooweerrrrrrrr to respond to clicks with my finger.

This isn't a recent issue either. Not just related to iOS 17. It's been doing it for a long time. I was hoping iOS 17 might have fixed the issue.

I want to move my Firefox downloads elsewhere on my iPhone, organizing them by category, which I have been doing regularly. A few days ago, the Firefox folder in Files disappeared, which means its Downloads folder within is also gone.

I can see what I have downloaded from the Firefox menu, but only there, and they are gone after a day or maybe two. I can’t move them from within that list.

How do I get those folders back? I don’t want to need to switch to another browser, but I will if necessary.

If I long press on a link and select Open in New Tab, I have to tap the square box in the top right of the screen and select the new tab from within that before I can actually see the new tab. How can I configure Firefox so that the new tab is displayed immediately? Thanks

Whenever I try to delete my search history, the app won’t do anything. I tap to delete “Everything” and nothing happens. This also applies for “Yesterday” and “Today” options. I use iOS 16.7

I'm using Firefox to access academic papers and online books. Because most of this content requires a subscription, I usually visit these web pages through my University library site. However, its not letting me open the destination file. e.g. I can open https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/21670811.2018.1533788?journalCode=rdij20 but not the full article. To open the full article I need to be logged in through my institution's library.

I have changed my proxy settings to 'no proxy' - can you please suggest what else I can do?

It normally works fine on other computers.

i recently switched browsers, and my Google account keeps signing out of the Firefox app. i’ve had the same issue on my computer but i fixed it, i just can’t seem to find out how to store cookies on the app

I'm trying to use tabbed browsing. The instructions say, "tap the tab icon at the bottom of the screen", but at the bottom of the screen I only see back arrow, forward arrow, trash can, and three bars for menu.

I am using Firefox (117.3 (34056)) on an iPhone 14 and just upgraded to iOS 17. Both before and after my system update, Firefox keeps automatically logging me out of websites even when I tell the website to remember me or to stay logged in. I haven't used Firefox on mobile for a while but this is quite annoying for some websites that I frequent.

The newest update seems to have removed the address bar. It’s been replaced with a lock icon and a button for reader view. Doesn’t seem to be a way to search anything without using a search engine as a homepage or opening a new tab.
