I just had to sign in to this forum although I had never logged out. I am using Firefox 143.0.3 (64-bit) on Linux Mint 22.2. It is not the first time I am having to login again in one-by-one the sites I visit. And before anything else, I have not changed any of my privacy settings and no new profile has been created due corruption of my default one. It is not the first time this happens lately. Any chance with the Firefox update? I think I installed one quite recently.

A few days ago, my Firefox browser stopped clearing browsing data, cookies, history, cache. I am using a custom-built desktop computer with Windows 10 Home, Firefox v. 143.0.4. What is the setting I need to change so this will start clearing data again? The "Clear data and cookies" no longer works, and my search has brought up no other options that I have found. I need simple instructions, please.

Additional information on the problem of not clearing history. It takes from the tool bar at least 5 attempts to clear the Cache, cookies and past pages. The last 15KB of the system cache will not clear. Tried from Setting; Privacy and Security, said there was still 6.9MB, Cleared, check also the past pages box. Came back to the Tool Bar, still has the 15KB in Cache, but settings said there was zero. Not a critical issue at this time. Going forward when you have a response. JJE

It seems to me that Firefox is still recalling cached data from somewhere. Can this caching (disk?) be disabled?

I used to be able to clear all data with no problem, but now it's holding to Gmail login data (I think that's the problem, anyway). I clear all data after each browsing session and have been doing so for a long time, but it's not working anymore. But it is working on my husband's laptop and we're on the same version of Windows (11) and have the same settings. Can someone please assist in figuring out what's happening behind the scenes? How do I turn on cookies for firefox so I can watch youtube videos, I never had this problem for the 6 years I've been using this laptop but all of a sudden google say's my cookies is the problem.

I’m using the latest version of Firefox, and I’ve noticed that every time I restart the browser, all my logged-in sessions (like Gmail, Reddit, etc.) are gone and I have to log in again.

I already checked:

“Delete cookies and site data on close” is turned off

History settings are set to “Remember history”

Tried clearing the cache and re-logging inhttps://wendysmenuprices.com/ Still facing the same problem. Is there some other setting I might be missing, or could this be a profile issue?

Downloaded Fire Fox on this new Windows 11 Laptop. Cannot get it to completely clear history, either from tool bar, also have done from Settings, Security to delete all history and cookies when closing. Then from History highlighted and deleted all from there. What is going on? Great that the old data from PC with all add-ons and bookmarks were transferred. I do not know how I did that.

Google "Cookies are Disabled" when trying to login to Google Services. Standard security settings. Browser and Computer have been restarted. Cleared Cache.

Unsure what to try next.

I'm experiencing an issue with a site that has broken links. I contacted them and they asked me to delete their cookies. I am unable to find a way to do this.

Is there a method for me to do this?

My browser often directs the shibboleth authentication to the sign-in page of my previous university, not to my current ones. An example is provided below: the first link gets automatically changed to the send one. How can I stop the browser from doing this, so that I can log in through my current university account? since this morning, it seems firefox asks me to keep signing everywhere --google accounts, youtube, netflix etc. i go through 2step signin, i click on remember this choice but when i close firefox and reopen it i have to do everything again

cookies are enabled, i whitelisted google and youtube, i clear cache. the only thing that works is if i clear cookies for youtube, but then i have to sign in again. and this is reset next time i open firefox.

Yahoo has locked me out of my email. It says I need to enable cookies in my browser. I have tried setting security options to low. This does not refer to choosing to send crash reports etc. which I also have tried. See attached photo. IOS iPhone and iPad are up to date.

I have specific tabs that open when I start Firefox (email, calendar, etc.). Up until recently, the logins for these pages were retained, so when I started Firefox, I was already logged in. Recently, something has changed, and the info is not retained (cookies?), and all pages are at the login screen instead of being automatically logged in.
