Why is there not an option to turn this off. It is way too easy to close tab when scrolling up or down to find a tab. This is a dumb feature that needs to be toggled off.

I quit firefox (accidentally). When I reopened Firefox, all of my tabs were gone! I have only been able to recover the most recent tabs, not the older ones. How do I recover all the tabs that I had opened in Firefox?

When I try to sync and save from a firebox tab I get an error message that says it didn’t work and asks to reload. I try to reload and it doesn’t reload but keeps giving me the same error. I am trying to sync to my iPhone 15. Please help and thank you

My phone seems to be having a problem where links I click on in my phone, whether from texts or emails or even typing into the search bar widget for firefox for my phone, is opening the tabs into the very top of my tab list. I have my settings set to the tabs being in a list, and new tabs open at the bottom, with older tabs farther up. But now new tabs from links are opening at the top of the list, and I have to copy the link and paste it into a new tab I set up manually and go all the way to the top of my tab list to close out the old tabs.

I also noticed when dealing with this problem that several old tabs I had open are no longer there. They seem to have just dissapeared. I have the setting to set tabs into an inactive section turned off, and I verified this is the case. I don't know where the old tabs went.

I am also having a problem where my bookmarks don't seem to be showing up. When I search for something in the URL bar, it searches my bookmarks, and when I edit a bookmark I have just added, I see all the folders. But when I just go to look through my bookmarks manually, I can't see them anywhere, and none of the folders I have made.

Are all of these things related?

My phone is an Android Motorola Edge 2022. It is fully updated, and the apps are fully updated regularly.

I also cleared the cache recently on all of my apps using ccleaner. This has not solved the problems.

I enjoy using Firefox for its clarity, security, and overall performance. However, on my Android tablet, switching between tabs can be difficult. I would love to have a tab bar at the top, similar to the desktop version, for easier access to specific tabs. The current swipe gesture to change tabs is useful but doesn't allow me to see all open tabs at a glance. Additionally, I’d appreciate an extension for auto-refreshing tabs and a setting for desktop view, so that when I enable it, all tabs—including future ones—open in desktop mode. However, it should still be possible to switch individual tabs back to mobile view if needed.

The latest update of Firefox for Android (130.0 (Build #2016041319)) removed the ability to swipe away the "Tab Closed Undo" bar that shows up when closing a tab.

If a user closes the last tab, a purple-ish bar appears at the bottom of the screen that reads "Tab Closed" on the left and "Undo" in a different font on the right. In previous versions of Firefox for Android a user could swipe away this bar to make it go away. In the current version that is no longer possible and I would really appreciate having that back.

(Honestly I would actually really appreciate never seeing the bar since I can access closed tabs via the History and I really dislike the bar.)

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well 🌻 I'm using the latest version of Firefox as of today on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, and I have a problem when switching between apps and then switching back to Firefox the pages reload even if I don't have many apps running in the background (so I don't think it's a ram issue and I don't experience it with other browsers) and this gets so annyoing when I'm viewing pages with many images such as manga because the images need to reload each time entirely

I installed update last week on iPad (17.5.1). lost all tabs;-( Also, now won't create new tabs. I am also not installing the new OSX update -- cuz . .. Plz help! many tx!

I recently updated to a new version of the Firefox Android app through the Play Store, and it changed the look of the lab list so that tabs were larger. However, it also seems to have changed the tolerance for my swiping to scroll through the list. Now, when I swipe to scroll up with my right thumb, it often closes the tab under my thumb rather than scrolling. This seems to be because my swipe is at an angle due to the way I am holding my phone, but before the update I never had this problem. It would be nice if the tolerance was adjusted back to the way it was or if I could disable the swipe to delete tab feature.

Recently (2 updates?) whenever I return to the normal browsing page from private browsing; weather 5 minuets or 5 days, then return to private browsing all the tabs I left open (active) are gone.

I have to re-open the a private tab and start searching again.

If this is a new feature, no prob, if. It-might be an issue that can be fixed in another update.

Hi! I am having issues with loosing tabs in private browsing mode. In the past I could have dozens of tabs open in private browsing mode for months at a time, but it seems like after the new update as soon as I leave Firefox all of my open private browsing mode my tabs disappear.

Is this an intentional new feature? Is there a way to turn it off? I would like to keep my private browsing mode tabs open after I leave the Firefox browsing app (I am not exiting or deleting any tabs or the app when I leave).

When I go another app while browsing or simply hit the back button on my iPhone I am taken back to my default home page. How can I get it to just go back to my last page?

Wasn’t sure if anyone has a quicker way to do this: unfortunately I probably have a good 60-something tabs open on safari. I want to switch them over to Firefox but I haven’t seen any way to send over open tabs without having to copy and paste every link over. Not very many are bookmarked, not sure if that’s a factor.

I rested my phone and reinstalled firefox logged in and tried to get my tabs back since i had sync previously activated but now i can't find how to get my 60 tabs back. Nothing is in the History to find.

I have Firefox Focus and I have enjoyed it except for one blaring issue. Without closing it, it sometimes completely restarts and closes every tab. I lose SO much when it happens. Is there ANYTHING that I can do in this instance to retrieve my tabs?
